I went here with two fellow foodies, who knew this place. I had never heard of it, and since I'm gluten free it wouldn't have been high on my list anyway. Once I heard the buzz about it I got pretty curious to see if it lived up to the hype. When initially we got there, the first thing that hit us was the long line. But then we realised half the people were just looking at the menu and not ordering so it was ok in the end. However in the end it’s all for a good reason—the sandwiches here are huge, super fresh, delicious, and totally worth the money. My two friends said it was the best meal of the week in Milano and we had some great ones. Once they started to dig in, you notice as you look around that pretty much everyone in the square also has a take out bag from here, or is in some state of starting, eating or finishing an amazing sandwich. It's nice to know that a place with this much hype around it seemed to deliver on everything it promised. I have a feeling that we will be going back there next time I'm in Milano.
