When visiting Allbirds of Oakbrook, Upon entering I was greeted right away. Such a friendly staff. The acknowledgment, effort & assistance was very engaging. I appreciated the guidance. Very satisfied with all interactions & purchase. Thank you Allbirds of Oakbrook!

I visited the shoe store around 1:30 this afternoon in search of black everyday shoes. Upon entering, the gentleman working there barely acknowledged us, engrossed in his laptop. Despite walking around the store, he made no effort to assist or engage with us. As someone in sales myself, I was surprised by his lack of interest in helping customers. It was my first time in the store, and I would have appreciated some guidance on the brand. Disappointingly, we left without any interaction or farewell from him. Unless one knows precisely what they want, I would not rely on his assistance. Perhaps the store should consider hiring a more attentive salesperson.

Never have I felt more disrespected in my life than when I went to this location. I wanted to get some new shoes with my friends and I overheard the manager call us suspicious and told one of her workers to kick us out. Oakbrook had a lot of profiling issues and as a stockholder of allbirds I am disgusted

They don't carry all the models all birds makes. Went in for the wool lounge shoes and they don't carry them. Wish your website said that

Very disappointed with this store. I am a stock holder that has seen my stock decline drastically and then to get poor treatment at the store is a deal breaker. I went to buy three pairs of shoes and was told an online offer was not available in store and could take up to a week for an email to process....what??? My family and I have been big supporters of this brand, but they need to understand customer service better.

The manager Duncan was able to take a return today (Jan 2) for an item purchased Nov 6, even though the extended holiday return policy was no longer listed on the Allbirds website. Thank you for the excellent customer service!

I love my Allbird shoes, but I am very unhappy with this store. I went to return a pair of shoes that I had ordered online and had to argue with the store employee to honor the return date on the website. My order said it could be returned until December 12th but he refused to honor it past 30 days, despite me showing him what the website was saying. He continued to pressure me into exchanging them or trying on other pairs of shoes. He finally said "since I am a nice person I will let you return them" after several minutes of arguing.

I've purchased three more pairs of Allbirds since my first pair in June. Another pair for myself and 2 pairs for loved ones. I love these shoes and keep getting others to wear them too. I love how you can toss them in the washer and they look brand new. Even after countless times wearing them. After my father kept complimenting my shoes last week, and asked if they were available in black, I went to this location and bought him a pair. He loves them. I love the 30 day guarantee. Wear them outside. You can still return them. I found the employees to be friendly and very helpful at this location.

Excellent experience shopping here! I first discovered Allbirds through REI and was so excited when I found an actual Allbirds store at Oakbrook. I've never come across a pair of sneakers and flats so light and comfortable. I felt like I was wearing air the first time I put on their SuperLite Wool Sneakers. I own two pairs of these now and these are my favorite sneakers. I like them for light running, city walking, and running casual errands. They come in cute colors and best of all, they're made of wool which is naturally odor resistant and help keep your shoes fresh. When I visited the store, I ended up purchasing a pair of their flats. I usually stay away from wearing flats since they tend to cut me and give me blisters unless I reapply a foot balm throughout the day. I only wear them when I have to look professional at the office or go someplace nice. These flats were so comfortable to wear - I could walk in these all day without using a foot balm. Their in-sole supports are super comfortable, and the shoes are also made of woven, flexible eucalyptus fibers. I tend to have wide feet but noticed I was able to wear the non-wide version of my size as the material seemed to conform and shape to my feet due to its flexible nature but without being so loose that it would slip off while I walk. Definitely a game-changer. Customer service was great - I must've tried on a dozen pair of flats to decide on the appropriate size and color before purchasing them. The staff gave me great advice and allowed me to walk around in the store when them on before committing, The flats also happened to be on sale and cheaper than what was listed on the Allbirds website. On top of all that, the brand itself is phenomenal and ethically-minded. Allbirds prides themselves on using sustainably sourced natural and recycled materials. They even have carbon emissions next to the prices of each of the shoes so you can track and be thoughtful of your carbon footprint as you make your purchase. Great products with a great mission! I will definitely be back here to shop.

Wife was looking for a new pair of Allbirds shoes. She bought a pair online and loved the shoes. We decided to go check out the store. I figured I could use a pair myself so we both tried out a couple different styles. I'd hope to get a pair of slip ons, but when trying them out I felt I wouldn't like them so tried a lace model. We both found something we liked and wore them home. All made from sustainable materials gives you a nice vibe too. A bit on the pricey side, but if they hold up well I don't mind. Check them out.

Quick review since I noticed the location opened at Oakbrook! I've been waiting for this location to open (since I saw the boarded area announcing it was coming last time I visited) and was so happy to see in person last night. The location has the same selection as the Lincoln Park store (might even be a little bigger). They carry their shoes, accessories as well as clothing options. I was just passing by, so will definitely leave a better review next time. So excited we have a closer location in the suburbs. We love Allbirds in our household! Definitely recommend them for sustainable shoes.

Very odd experience. I came in looking to try on the shoes for the first time and asked about sizing and was talking to the salesman who did not know a lot about the product they were selling. The female who was with him was interpreting both of us when i brought up a concern i had they looked at each other and started to laugh. I still bought the shoes but don't love them, simply because i didn't love my store experience.

I had the most awkward experience here. I was excited to try the shoes but felt like I was "not welcome" by the managers at the store. The saleswoman was trying to sell me the shoes but knew little about them and kept asking her manager, who acted offended I was there trying to buy a pair of shoes. It may have been the most off-putting experience I've ever had at a store. I am not sure what was going on, but being in marketing myself and brand management, I'd say as a company, it's very important to hire friendlier, more welcoming staff. All Birds is by "no means" a luxury brand either, so although I perhaps would expect this type of experience at Chanel on the magnificent mile, I wouldn't expect it at Oakbrook Mall at All Birds.

My husband and I have gone in to buy shoes two or three times now and have felt welcome and seen on all occasions. The salespersons helped us find the shoes that matched our needs, let us try on as many colors or sizes as we wanted, and made return information very accessible and upfront. I loved the experience and will be coming back here for shoes not just because they are so earth friendly but also because of the store experience!
