There is no better view of 25th Street and Ogden as a whole. The security was very kind and was very patient with the patrons, especially us "older" folks who wanted a roof-top seat. Well done!

Jude Mingo

Google
Decent atmosphere, but sup bar drinks and not a single bartender in sight that cares about the quality of their services. Some were just rude and outright difficult to deal with. Not worth going here over any other bar on 25th. Layout and scenery is great, but not enough to be a saving grace.

Google
Might want to brush up on ADA laws- We were almost denied entry as we had a veteran with a service dog with us. They asked for papers and we presented a certified card, ultimately getting us through the door with the caution that the owner might not like having a dog in his establishment. It was 7:30 pm not busy and really didn’t smell nice in there (raw sewer smell) - we had a drink and left. Not sure it is a place we will visit again.

Gerardo Fierro

Google
The door guy was unnecessarily rude after coming from out of state and after I showed him two forms of identification that is government issued and was denied entry. Literally went to the next bar no question asked let me in like I’m 25 be fr. Disappointed a that door guy doing to much for minimum wage.

Google
Definitely some weird styling and light choices. There is a random projector playing a iMac animated screen saver, and was super annoying. And the DJ was okay, just not the best I've seen around. definitely still a lot of fun. The bouncers where nice and professional, and didn't start any drama. Everything was very well priced considering it's a club. All the people where super cool and we all had a blast, even in the odd lighting

Google
Bartender spilt my friends shot cause he didn’t tip😂. we asked for a new drink and they yelled at us saying I had to pay for another one then they sprayed us with the tab hose we tried to take our other shots but security treated to punch us if we drank them but we payed. If you can’t handle your job you should find different one, worst experience

Deja Dunning

Google
The scene up here is basic drinks, drunk kids, and the smell of body. It’s a scene that’s probably needed in the area for young adults to let go but, we can definitely do well with more staff and cup cleaning. The bar downstairs on the other hand was amazing. Same ownership done better down below. More of a chill vibe with talented tenders. Will be going back there.

Google
Alleged is special in Ogden because it’s one of the only places you can go to really dance. But the rooftop bar is my favorite part! After 10pm on the weekends it gets pretty wild and fun in there. They have great, fairly expensive drinks. A good place to people watch or talk to strangers.

Alayna S.

Yelp
Mad cause I didn't tip on a drink they shorted me on Visiting Ogden to see what the night life is like and they are not the right place if you want to be basically robbed.

Alan H.

Yelp
Alleged just isn't for me. Of all the bars along 25th street I am a regular at most and everyone knows my name. But that doesn't happen here. I see what they are trying to do with the 3 separate floors and the theme and the cool outside deck upstairs. I don't know, it's just never been a great time for me here. Maybe its the lack of food? Too few batenders? Not super customer service? Also, getting in can be a trial and there is quite often a cover. Which I get, having bartended and worked the door at bars in Ogden myself. I also get the need to card everyone especially in semi-college town. But it just feels heavy. Every time. I can't exactly put my finger on it but it just has an off-putting vibe to me. In any case, this bar is just okay. You can get a cold beer or a good drink and listen to some great live music at times. But for me, I'd rather go to one of a number of other bars up and down this street.

Stevn A.

Yelp
The security is smart enough not take it in the streets.... So u just wait for them after their shift and that is truly the best thing for this business

Jamie M.

Yelp
Favorite thing about this place is upstairs view and atmosphere. Drinks are kinda pricy. Food isn't the best. But not a bad place to chill and have a quick drink.

Sandra C.

Yelp
We had a group of girls one was pregnant ( she was our DD ) ! we had been there about a half hour when the bouncer stopped us and told us we had to leave because of our pregnant friend . We wanted to know why ? He could not tell us ,when the other bouncers came over they told us it was up to the bounce on who stays . I can't believe you discriminate against women that are pregnant!!! I sure hope no one treats your mom, sister or wife they way we were treated. I will never go here again , and I will definitely make sure everyone hears about this situation!

Yelp
I wasn't aware that this bar is in Vegas. I'm confused because the address is for Ogden. However, when my friends and I got there (6 girls, 2 guys), myself and the other guy had to pay a $10 cover to get in. Now, if this were a club in Vegas I would understand. They're trying to keep the ratio right. But this is a bar with a small dance floor and barely any booze on their shelves charging more than any other bar in Utah to get in. I live in SLC and I have NEVER paid that much. Needless to say, I won't be coming back to this bar or to the Ogden night life anytime soon.

Chris C.

Yelp
I loved this place, I'll start with why 4 stars. Simply they were understaffed and while I was trying to have a drunken buffoonery night I wasn't able to keep my refills of beers coming. However, the staff was trying and was very nice, professional and friendly when they were around. The scene is upscale but has like an old time menu. It's high end while not overly high end. Their mixed drink menu is also like a history book for the local area which is just fantastic and pays perfect homage to the 25th street feel and local history and lore. The other downside is the fact that this is Utah so the drinks can't be as stout as they or you'd probably like and some are a little more on the over sweet end due to them unable to fully cut the sweetness with booze. Will be back again though.

Karla A.

Yelp
Fuck this place! They don't accept international IDs! We traveled from Vegas and they would only accept passports. When I got a picture of the passport this venue wouldn't accept it. All other bars on same street accepted the international ID except this bar. Terrible service and security!

Nikki S.

Yelp
I've been here at least 5 times and every single time I've come, I always meet people under the age of 21. This bar doesn't seem to care if you're underage.

Amy W.

Yelp
I love the rooftop bar- best summer sunsets in Ogden. Background music played is worlds better than that played any other bar on 25th Street. Nice selection of signature cocktails, their quality drinks are fairly priced. The live music they bring in is amazing. Great ambiance. I love this place.

Tj S.

Yelp
The bouncers, while one asked my friend nicely to have his hat turned around while inside, the other was absolutely out of line when my friend asked about the cover charge. When someone just has a hard time hearing and are treated the way he was, it was definitely an easy decision to head to a different bar. Do yourself a favor and head over to the Funk & Dive or Brewskis or the many other bars available along 25th. I didn't realize it had gotten this bad after reading other reviews.

Gjm M.

Yelp
The premise of this establishment is good. Good location and love upstairs bar. Where I give it one star is the overall atmosphere. The bouncers at the door have always let me and my girls in but have told the guys in our party that they're filled to capacity for guys, wtf?!? Also if you feel like being groped, fondled, grinded against...practically accosted on the dance floor by several patrons who feel entitled to do so with no bouncer interference than this is your dancing hot spot! It's unfortunate because Ogden desperately needs a good dance club that's not just country music. So Alleged let's bring a little class back into the picture and make this a place where a lady can feel safe.

Austyn B.

Yelp
Me and some friends came in last night. Great atmosphere. But there were a few things that could use some improvements. Before we even got our first drinks we had a bartender basically demand a tip. I've worked customer service for awhile and that's not what you do. We went upstairs and got treated by a lot nicer bartenders!

Francis C.

Yelp
I use to like this place until recently. The bouncers are some of the rudest I have ever encountered and I've heard about some of them even assaulting people. They let some of the worst scumbags inside and this just ruins the vibe completely and they do nothing to control it. These scumbags either try to grind up on anything with breasts (even if it's your girlfriend whom you're dancing with), will try to passively-agressvily edge you out of the dancefloor or just be mean and combative, staring you down just for dancing and having a good time. Total trash. However, I will say that I have never had a problem with the staff working the bar. They have always been kind and attentive. The second floor and top floor can be a nice place to hangout before all the thugs show up after 10pm. A tip for the bouncers: You don't always have to be such a hard ass and mean to every person that comes to the door. You are ruining it for everyone. I understand that you have to deal with unsavory types from time to time, but not all of us are like that. Learn to recognize those types and act accordingly. If I come in and greet you cordially and with a smile, maybe TRY to reciprocate. A tip for the owner: Screen your employees more diligently.

Kim A.

Yelp
Causal hang for friends. Drink themes are fun and match with overall vibe of the place. We usually hang at the second floor or roof during good weather. Not huge into the dance scene. Especially like the trivia nights!

Anne S.

Yelp
Love this place. The environment is great for friends and clients, the bar tenders are friendly, the rooftop bar is choice and great for a summers night. Drinks are drink costs at a somewhat upscale place. They serve you plastic cups on the upstairs bar because your outside. There's rarely a cover charge unless there's music. Overall a great place for a drink.

Ty O.

Yelp
This place was a joke from the start. First off, if you are a male then you will pay a cover fee and if you're a female then enjoy getting in free. I came with my fiance and she walked right in while I had some guy holding out his hand wanting a 5 dollar offering and he was a complete douche about it... That right there is enough reason for me, and all of my other male friends to not go here anymore, we'll walk across the street to Brewskis and if I'm dying for a rooftop view I'll head to Green Pig in SLC. Second, needs more bartenders. We had to wait quite a while to get a drink everytime. Has potential. Just not quite there. The only good thing about this bar is that there are other bars you can walk to, and Lucky Slice across the street.

Rhiannon R.

Yelp
Ask and ye shall receive! That is the statement that came to mind the first time I walked into Alleged. It has been my dream for too many years for Ogden to have a decent bar to chill at. My first visit was during the weekend of the Ogden Arts festival. Alleged was keeping the theme by showcasing amazing pieces from local artists. This place is so unique, it has the city's first roof top bar and offers ridiculous views of historic downtown Ogden and some beyond breathtaking sunsets! Capacity on the roof top as current is 50 but, they are building a fire escape so they will soon be able to expand that number much hire. The ambiance is amazing, they are doing everything right, from the perfectly lit inside lounge to the amazing music..... Radiohead, Death Cab for Cutie, Grizzly Bear, Mike Snow, etc. etc. =LOVE. It is the ONLY bar in town playing good music. I love that I can get all dressed up or just ride my bike down in shorts, tank top, and tattoos as I have on my repeat visits and feel equally comfortable and cared for. The bar is an old whore house from the early 1900's and they play up that fact by naming their deliciously unique cocktails after some of Ogden's most notorious Madams, working girls, and the like. One of my new favorite libations is a cocktail called The Gentile Kate named after a "prominent woman of Ogden both in business and politics. She could provide entertainment the likes of which could not be matched..." Smirnoff Green Apple Vodka, Smirnoff Blueberry Vodka, Redbull Blue, Splash Cran, Splash. Sprite and a lime garnish yummy! The staff, (I believe most of them are owners) are so genuine; they are huge supporters of local. They show this support by only offering local beers and using locally distilled spirits in their soon to be infamous signature cocktails. They do however carry one non local beer to keep the hipsters happy and that is Pabst Blue Ribbon. They are not offering food at this time but if you eat at a local Historic 25th street restaurant and bring in the receipt they will wave your cover charge for the night (how awesome is that?!?!) that is if they even have one which they usually don't. The roof top is available for private events and in my opinion would be the perfect place for any special event. To sum it up I am in love with Alleged and I am very excited to see what the future holds for this amazing new space!

Michelle U.

Yelp
For one, you need more bartenders!! Might make your current bartenders, not so overworked and less stressed! For two, it doesn't matter how many drink orders you have, fulfill them. Mrs. Charlie was mad cause we kept ordering them from her one after another, tipping 20%+. Through out the night she became nicer realizing my annoyance but that shouldn't be the reason you give good service!!! If I owned the club I'd have the employee fulfill orders no matter who it is, since everyone's orders do matter! THE customer is paying the rent, electricity and gas. If you don't want to work with drunk people work at a F in restaurant not a bar that young people from this town frequent regularly. Everyone can have a bad day but all the time I've worked in the best clubs in the country you leave that shit at the door!!!!!!!!! Thanks!

Kalli A.

Yelp
I would give this place 5 stars for a great atmosphere and rooftop but the DJs are literally the worst I've ever heard. Their playlists are from 2004 and it's the same music every weekend. Hire a better DJ or at least tell them to play something somewhat current

Justin H.

Yelp
I agree with Food S. This place is a big rip off! The bouncers are TERRIBLE, never been to a place that somebody has been so rude to me (I've been here several times and will never go back!!) they just charge and be jerks to whoever they want walking through the door. Sometimes there's a cover sometimes there isn't. Super rude people, and I don't believe in giving my money to rude people. Save your money and go across the street to City Club! Those guys are legit and SUPER cheap drinks! $2.50 PBR??? Yup!! I'm giving one star because the set up and idea of a rooftop bar is kind of cool...

Cheryl L.

Yelp
WORST PLACE EVER! Terrible management and employees. This place is a joke! Bouncers abuse their power, as well does the employees. One of your childish employees threw a cup of water on me and ruined my phone and they did jack shit except have one of their rude bouncers throw me down the stairs.

Yelp
I was in town for a wedding and everyone was raving about this bar. So I went to see what's the deal with this place. Alleged looked pretty cool from the outside. The first floor has a small dance floor and a private lounge room. The second has the traditional bar set up, and the roof has this great view of Ogden with a small bar. The overall vibe was pretty chill which I could see why people recommend this place. I went to the first floor to order a glass of wine. After waiting for a while the bartender finally served me then tried to bill me $19.00 just for a glass that should cost only $9 w/ tax, so I told her that she's gave me the wrong bill. She took my card and she did it again. Seriously, what the hell. I told her I only ordered a glass of wine. It finally dawned on her that I wasn't buying the group next to me shots and gave me the proper bill. For a Saturday night the bar was not at all busy. The bartender did not have an excuse to mix up my bill with the group next to me.** The next day I see a pending charge for $40 from Alleged in my account. I would call them today but they're closed. I'll keep you posted. I actually like this place and would recommend it for out of towners. **UPDATE It seems like the pending charges are actually Square's fault (the company that does the whole iPad register thinggy). The person who I spoke to told me that this has been a common issue and that I should keep an eye on the these charges.

Alex W.

Yelp
I had a really great time until I tried to go back in to use the restroom at the end of the night, got turned around by the bouncers because the bar was closed, and then while I was waiting for an Uber a bouncer came out and PUNCHED ME IN THE FACE. I didn't take the reviews about the bouncers seriously---don't make the same mistake. I don't get in fights---ever, because I'm in the military and the consequences involve more than just the local law enforcement; they also involve my chain of command. In fact, this was my going away party, as I'm getting deployed for the second time; So the fact that this bouncer sought me out, outside of the club on the side walk, because he felt I got an attitude with him, and then punched me in the face--at my going away, ON VETERANS DAY-- blows my mind. All my friends were gone already, and I'm glad, because that could have turned into a brawl real quick. Instead, I walked away because the other bouncers were standing there waiting for a fight and watching him confront me, and fighting him would have jeapordized my deployment. Bottom line: take the reviews about the bouncers seriously--Don't go to Alleged!

Jennifer M.

Yelp
I tip every single time I order drinks, this ONE time that I pay with cash I forget to tip. Once the bartender demanded a tip I apologized and proceeded to give her tip. I went for another round of drinks and she automatically charged tip to my card! What kind of crap is that!

Luis C.

Yelp
Management needs to seriously look at all the negative reviews based on their bouncers. If Yelp took off in Utah, like in other states- this bar would be near closing from all the negative reviews.

Emily L.

Yelp
Love the rooftop bar. Beers are 4$ and so are mixed drinks which is nice. It can be hard to get drinks sometimes do you definitely need to be assertive. They also seem to play a lot of the same music and the dj is pretty bad. But I still always have a great time! I've heard that they charge a cover sometimes which seems like a shame and would probably prevent me from going

Sean T.

Yelp
After a large group of my friends went through the door, the bouncer told me I couldn't wear my hat backwards so I switched it and he scanned my ID. Everything seemed fine until he gave my ID to the other bouncer and he asked why I had a fake. I said it wasn't fake and we went on arguing with each other for a few minutes. He then got out his keys and was going to prove my ID was a "sticker". I told him to not scratch it and he kicked me out. He then came out to the sidewalk about 10 minutes later where he threatened to "beat my ass" because I "talk too much shit like a bitch". This place is an absolute joke and I'm seriously surprised people still try going here. Do yourself a favor and avoid this bar. Easily the worst experience with a bouncer I've ever had.

Naomi D.

Yelp
Definitely where most of me and my millennial friends go after hopping bars we end up here. The bartenders are very attentive and friendly. Drinks are very diverse. I love how the levels provide a different atmosphere. You might come across a creep or older woman that beg you to hold their spots. I ran into some drunk cougars and saw them dancing on young guys and getting turnt the rest of the night. It's interesting. Lots of drama here, but it's probably the only popping place in town if you're 21-27.

Mike S.

Yelp
Well... 2nd time certainly was not the charm. The bouncer is still a dick. Management needs to seriously look at all the negative reviews based on their door keep. If Yelp took off in Utah, like in other states......this bar would be near closing from all the negative reviews.

Barry H.

Yelp
Alleged is one of the best bars that I've ever been in hands down. If you want to have any fun in Ogden, a stop at Alleged is a must. I live in Chicago and any time I'm in Ogden for skiing or seeing friends, I make sure to grab at least a cocktail there but usually end up spending all night there because it is awesome. The fact that it has three floors with three different feels is unique to the city. The top floor or rough deck has the best view to enjoy a drink. Aside from the amazing view and ambiance, all of the staff are incredibly friendly and are super attentive. I would recommend Alleged to anyone I know who lives in or visits Ogden.

Tim L.

Yelp
The door man was EXTREMELY rude. My daughter forgot her ID and he started yelling and swearing and threw her and my wife and I out saying "We weren't F@!$#×g welcome there"! There was no need to speak to us that rudely just because she forgot her ID! We will never go back!

Sierra R.

Yelp
This is my favorite place to go have some drinks and dance with my friends. I love when the rooftop is open. Beautiful view of Ogden and the sun setting. The décor in alleged is so cute and quirky. I have never had a bad experience here so I recommend it.

Andrea C.

Yelp
I have been to this bar before i liked it we had a great time, we decided to go back with a few friends. At the door the bouncer checking id's checked all my friends when it was my husbands turn the bouncer says I can't let you in with that hat my husband says why you just let my friends in with their hats? Well my husband took it off and bouncer says we'll now I don't like your shirt! And my husband says what's your problem? My husband was wearing a nicely fitted brand new Dallas Cowboys shirt and dallas cap. The bouncer didn't let him in because he's not a dallas fan?!?! The people in front of us had a ripped shirt and an old sweaty baseball cap! Seriously alleged you need to put your bouncer in check, you lost 8 potential customers last night and we'll never go back!!!!

Kara L.

Yelp
Terrible service, rude employees, not worth the over priced drinks they serve. They are not deserving of my hard earned money I'd rather go somewhere where I am treated like a customer not a number, music is good once in a while.

Maitreyee B.

Yelp
I went here awhile ago with my girl friends. At first I thought it was a small building but then we realized it was three floors. The first floor has a dance floor with a dj with a bar, second floor is a bar with lounge and top floor is a sky view with a bar and lounge area. On a Friday night it was packed, I was shocked on how many people was at that club. The drinks were good but pretty expensive. The bouncers and bartenders were really nice and helpful. Like any club the men that were there were pretty hammered. All they wanted was a girl to bring home and most of them were disrespectful. Then again, at a club that is what most people should expect unfortunately. The bar itself was fun and the bathrooms were clean.

Hotamentane'o Lance G.

Yelp
Uninformed bar tenders that have to check drink recipes on Google, on the second level it seems more dead then a high priced bar should be, I would rather take my chances on getting stabbed in the dive across the street to play pool and have drinks from a tenured bar tender then this. In what world does a person get charged for a beer that was sold to be a lager only to be an oatmeal stout. Stay away if you like your money, if you like to keep your money and have drinks made properly, hit one of the many other bars on the road. Cheers

Mimi C.

Yelp
I've traveled all over the world and been to many bars and clubs.. Just moving from Europe may have out a damper on this.. However, the music is repetitive, it's boring and the dance floor is tiny.. It's not worth the cover honestly.. It has potential to be an awesome place and it fell so short. The one good thing was the Drink prices were pretty fair.. Other than that I have absolutely nothing good to say about this place... The people outside of this "club" we're having more fun than those inside.

Khunravin H.

Yelp
No problems here. Multiple floors with different types of music going on. I had my first gimlick here and it was good. Also, the rooftop, best feature of this bar/club. Didn't get too close to the edge-for fear of falling over. But overall, great place for drinks and good crowd.

Henry A.

Yelp
I really was going to refrain from leaving a negative comment or speak ill of the club/bar Alleged, however the injustice and horrible experience I got is motivation enough for me to post it. Alleged is by far the absolute worst place in Ogden, bouncers are rude and abuse their authority. Instead on focusing on keeping their customers safe and making sure situations don't escalate, they instead go abusing and beating on people who have done absolutely nothing to them. So, if you're looking for a spot where you can go and hang with your friends and out of nowhere get punched, shoved, your drink smacked out of your hands, by all means this is definitely the place to be!

Sean V.

Yelp
I went when they first opened and have been going here and there over the years. It seems like it is getting progressively worse. Definitely a younger crowd now. The service is very slow. I am pretty confident under-age people get in. Bouncers seem to not really care. Bottom level is a club vibe, middle level is a lounge type vibe, and top is the roof (especially nice in the summer and early fall). I would give Alleged a hard 3/5. Not bad, but nothing great.

Kurt P.

Yelp
One of my local favorites. Pretty chill environment.

Sarah R.

Yelp
I was shocked by the aggressiveness of the bouncers. We were considering going to this bar after seeing everyone on the roof having fun. We changed our mind after seeing the bouncers fighting with a guest over his phone. Then when my brother commented that they should give his phone back the bouncers went after my brother. At this point my husband stepped in and asked them to leave my brother alone. That is when at least five guys (bouncers), ganged up on my husband punching him in the face and eventually breaking his nose. We were not even guests of this establishment, just walking by, and had to endure the wrath of the bouncers For a bar that is supposed to be so classy and sophisticated I am astonished at how they conduct business and harass innocent bystanders. I would suggest that anyone considering going to this place to reconsider. After talking to many people, even police officers In the area i have found that this is a common thing for Alleged.

Dylan H.

Yelp
It's relaxing and fun, but not really the bar experience most people would expect. It has very small and narrow rooms. It sounds like I'm in an elevator the whole time I am there, meaning the music is very plain and boring. The feel is relaxing if you just want to chill, but if you go to a bar to have a blast with your friends and feel comfortable talking to new people, this is not the place for you. It's probably more of a "go here before you go out" kind of bar. I mean they don't even have pitchers. How do you have a raging good time without pitchers.

Beejan V.

Yelp
Hands down, best bar in Ogden! This place has it all, with 3 levels to give you 3 different bar experiences. The first level has a dance floor with a great sound system and visual effects, and they actually take music requests! :-) The second level is a cool "cocktail lounge" type setting with plenty of couches and tables. A great place to have martinis with friends. The 3rd is their rooftop patio with tasteful architecture and gorgeous views of historic 25th street. The staff is so friendly and my favorite is their signature cocktails. This place is definitely my new hang out!

Food S.

Yelp
Horrible service at the front, unprofessionalism all arround. I Will never return. Bouncers tried to charge me double because they said didnt like me. Don't go to this prejudice establishment. Shawn and "javier", which he told me was a fake name, are the worst.

Staci H.

Yelp
Mix drink prices are ridiculous! Bouncers are complete douche bags and make the cool roof top bar not even worth it. Any other bar in Ogden is more worth it!

Reggie R.

Yelp
Looking for a good time? Don't show up to this place unless you like being treated second class. Besides the outrageous drink prices and watered down drinks, the bartenders act like they're doing you a favor by charging you top price and then handing you a plastic cup. And whatever you do don't act like your having a good time unless you want to get cut off. Ogden is full of great bars! But don't be fooled by this place, it's way over rated!
