One of the best hotels in Pontresina, especially the direct access to the spa which I haven't had the chance to try yet, but definitely going to do next time. Very spacious rooms, comfortable beds, a big table to do some work etc. and a big Nespresso machine. Always with a delicious welcome pack with still- and sparkling water, an apple and a cupcake per person. The ski room is large and there's a separate ski-boot room with boot-driers and a big waxing table with Nordic profiles. Top breakfast buffet with options for freshly made omelettes etc. basically anything you need. I accidentally left some USB cables in the room which was carefully stored and returned to me on my next visit several months later. Thank you!

Beautiful modern hotel with an incredible service. They meet you at the train station and when you’re leaving, they drive you there. Have not had such an experience! The manager Regina comes to greet you personally. Breakfast is exceptional. Not only the quality of food but if you wish they would make you eggs as you like it. I twisted my ankle, they provided nicely packed ice, moreover, Melany who is a former nurse, checked and redid my bandage. I saw in the other reviews that people did not want to leave - me too! Btw, the transportation, lifts and the use of the luxurious spa were all included. The room was spacious with 2 windows and the breathtaking views, huge bathtub and… extra towels and slippers to get to the spa by the underground walkway.

Disliked · The staff was rude.. Charged an additional 83 and 74 chf per day for 2 kids under 9 and 11. They called the police when we wanted to pay 50 chf each as per what was mentioned in the booking.com booking confirmation and refused to realize our bags. Also making insulting and racist comments saying they would not confirm bookings by a certain race of people again !!!! Once the police came they also agreed with us and said it was a civil matter and they could not be involved. The front desk receptionist was outrageous, loud and totally inhospitable. It is the worst stay we have ever had ever inspite of spending almost 1100 dollars a night for 3 rooms for a 3 star hotel.

terrible experience.. receptionist being an extortionist, screaming at our children, blaming us for leakages in her own hotel, threatening not to give us the assured ride back as no cabs were available in the area. very racist. she told us that our lives are not worth 50 francs.

This is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful town! We were blessed with a top floor room with windows opening to the beautiful hillside! The entire staff is friendly and helpful and everything is spotless. |The breakfast was excellent, quite the assortment of foods.|Three days here were the highlight of our trip to Switzerland.

What an underrated and fabulous hotel, their staff, mgmt, service and comfort can not be faulted! This is a clear 4.5 star hotel and nothing less, however their service exceeds five stars. It's an extremely neat, clean, new and comfortable hotel and in the centre, easy to walk and their team, absolutely fabulous in every possible way! I am coming back, with the family!

From the moment I arrived at the hotel, I felt very much at home. Regina, the hotel manager, greeted me warmly and spent lots of time answering my questions about hikes, restaurants, visits to nearby points of interest, etc. The room was spacious, immaculately clean and light and airy, with almost floor to ceiling windows. The breakfast is excellent with many choices and a room looking at the mountain range. As I had been traveling for a few weeks, I was pleased that the hotel offers a guest laundry area if one prefers to use that instead of the normal hotel laundry service. But most importantly, the hotel staff team are professional, friendly and eager to provide a special experience for each guest. In addition to Regina, I would say special thanks to Annalisa at Reception, Martin at the Breakfast Room and Alex at Housekeeping. I highly recommend Hotel Allegra!

Excellent location in the middle of town. Steep climb from the train station; ask hotel to pick you up (or take bus to Pontresina Post). Beautiful room, well equipped, beautifully cleaned. Excellent reception staff (thank you, Daniela and her boss). Wonderful and very generous breakfast buffet included.
