Allegro Italian Restaurant and Lounge

I came here a few months ago with my boyfriend. The service was a little slow however when we did get a server, he was great. He was very polite and friendly. We started off with the garlic parmesan bread (from what I remember, I think it was complimentary) and that was really good!! My boyfriend ordered a penne alla vodka and I ordered shrimp scampi. We were not big fans of the penne alla vodka. But, I liked my shrimp scampi. The restaurant looks very nice, definitely a good place for a date night. Overall this place is not bad, I would come here again.

The food here is consistently excellent and worth coming back for again and again. The eggplant rollatini is a standout, all of the “Allegro” style dishes are fantastic, and the ribeye—when it’s on special—is absolutely top-tier and not to be missed. Everything comes out well-prepared, flavorful, and clearly made with care. What really takes the experience to the next level, though, is the bar—and especially Jo. Jo is one of those bartenders who instantly makes you feel welcome. He’s funny, genuinely personable, and incredibly good at what he does. His drinks are always on point, and he has a great way of reading the room, whether you’re in the mood to chat or just relax. Great food, great drinks, and a great atmosphere. Jo doesn’t just serve behind the bar—he adds to the whole experience and gives you yet another reason to come back.

A Hidden Gem Worth the Detour We stumbled upon this spot unexpectedly after being rerouted due to traffic—and what a lucky find! Instead of sitting idle in our car, we decided to explore something new, and we were incredibly pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, creating an immediate sense of comfort. One of the highlights was the phenomenal bartender. Though he had just started, he was impressively attentive and genuinely engaging with every customer. It was clear he’s already making a strong impression, and we sincerely wish him all the best in his new role. As for the food—wow. I ordered the veal with cream pesto (pictured below), and it was absolutely amazing. Rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. We also shared the eggplant Parmesan appetizer, which was so good it could easily stand on its own as a main dish. Both dishes were thoughtfully prepared and delicious. Even though we live about 30 to 40 minutes away, this place has earned a spot on our return list. It’s not just a convenient stop—it’s a destination in its own right.

Absolutely loved this place! The atmosphere is cozy and elegant without feeling stuffy, and the staff is genuinely friendly and attentive. The food was incredible!! Especially the garlic knots (trust the hype!) and the fresh mozzarella appetizer. Everything tasted homemade and full of flavor. The service was fast, the portions were perfect, and you can tell they really care about quality. Definitely one of the best Italian spots I’ve tried. Can’t wait to come back!

Allegro truly impressed me from the moment I walked in. The staff were outstanding—professional, welcoming, and attentive in a way that made the whole experience feel special. You can tell that the management sets very high standards, because every team member was organized, kind, and genuinely cared about providing great service. The food was incredible. The Chicken Allegro is honestly one of the best dishes I’ve ever tried, full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The Cannoli Martini was also exceptional, easily one of the best cocktails I’ve had anywhere. I don’t write reviews often, but Allegra truly deserves it. I will absolutely be back, and I can’t wait to bring my friends and family to enjoy this amazing restaurant.

Joe is hands down our favorite bartender, and Friday nights just wouldn’t be the same without him. His service is outstanding, the drinks are always perfect, and he creates an incredible atmosphere. Joe keeps the crowd engaged, interactive, and talking to one another — it truly feels like a community every time we’re here. The vibe is amazing, and it’s all because of him. Five-star experience every single time!
