Allegro traditional restaurant

The best food - this is how I imagine eating at a Greek nan would be! The host Katarina is so warm and welcoming! Moussaka was soooo tasty! The fish courses were booked in advance- we had fresh cuttlefish, anchovies, tomato garlic bread, giant prawns and then seabream, all incredibly tasty and with local ingredients! Watermelon fresh to drink with addition of mastika - the best summer drink! I’ve heard that the restaurant was not allowed to expand with tables on the pavement this year, such a shame as it will definitely boost the little town.

The food is AMAZING! I searched for a good octopus on the entire island and here I found the best one- with a twist, because it was a salad. Very aromated, veryyy tasty. Also the musaka is THE BEST so far. And I tried it in multiple places. We somehow mananged to eat without a reservation but I recommend one since the place is a bit small (On the rooftop) but it also has space inside.

In the beginning we did not feel welcomed so our mood was a little bit down. It took quite some time to get the food but it was good

It was amazing. We took the prawns, the mousaka and the banoffee and they were so delicious. Really a hidden spot and you are dining on their rooftop which is really cute. You can also see the sunrise, sunset and everything from here. it is beautiful and the food iand the service too!

The restaurant, located in the charming center of a small town, is quite unassuming! The food here is delicious, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The service is top-notch, with full respect and always a smile towards the customer. You can sit right at the restaurant or upstairs. The only downside is the limited parking spaces, so if you plan to come with a larger group, keep in mind that there might be an issue. I encourage you to visit this restaurant! It is fantastic! We recently dined at this traditional Greek restaurant, and it was our first time trying Greek cuisine. The experience was absolutely delightful! The service was outstanding, and the staff made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we walked in. We visited Allegro after it was recommended to us. Katerina was a lovely hostess and very attentive. We experienced Katerina's small plate menu. It was really tasty. Home made Greek food at its best. We would definitely visit again if we were in Zante. Thank you Katerina for a wonderful Greek experience.
