Stopped in to have the battery changed in an expensive, vintage watch. Many jewelers do not keep these batteries on hand and I was expecting to hear they would need to order the battery or I would have to leave the watch (which I would NEVER have done). Two men were working and claimed they do have the proper battery. After opening my watch, one made a derogatory comment, accusing the last jeweler who changed the battery of using the wrong one. My watch kept perfect time with that battery until it ran its course. The salesman continued to comment about the wrong battery and told me how much better my watch would be with his battery. I paid and left. The following morning, my watch had stopped dead! I reset it and within a few hours, it stopped again. I did reset it and looked at it several days later and the time was completely off -- it was working but not keeping time. I do not live near this jeweler, if I did I would be right there demanding a refund. From his location in Manhattan, you would think they were reputable. Instead, I am left with a watch with a "new" battery that of course cost more than an average battery and it doesn't keep time. And, who knows if the battery he installed is doing damage to my watch. Buyer beware!

Do not buy from this company. First watch they sent was used. They had removed some links that were in the box and there were some jewelers notes on a plastic bag also in the box. No plastic on the watch. Ordered a replacement. The replacement they sent came with a dead battery. So much wasted time.

I was passing by and saw something i liked wasn't even thinking of purchasing anything until this kind man came out and introduced himself to me and started talking to me like i was a long lost friend he got me in showed me his products we went through most of the brands he explained to me all of the brands until i found the perfect watch very kind man.... he got me hes my new jeweler where i gonna come get all my repairs and all jewelry & watches bought from him

Had the watch technician rip my leather watch bracelet and pretend as if that was already there. Was still charged for my battery replacement.

So excited with my new setting. Shows the stone brilliantly. Excellent service!!!

They won't stand behind their product. I purchased a chain and it broke within 3 months. I requested a refund or replacement and they basically said I'm SOL because it is a delicate piece. I know how to take care of delicate jewelry, I work in jewelry. And this piece was well taken care of.

I bought two solid rope chains from this guy on Etsy and when they arrived they were two cheap hollow pieces of junk. They feel like cheap costume jewelry you would get from Spirit Halloween. I contacted the seller to ask for a refund and they said they would not do it because it has been more than 3 days since it was delivered. I explained that I was away for a week visiting family and helping my father move so I didn't even get home to open that package until 5 days after it was delivered (which was the day I contacted the seller). The seller refused to be understanding and accommodate my situation and now I'm stuck with 2 trash chains. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER!

You can't get a straight answer from these guys they don't even act trustworthy. A lot of song, dance & hustle, they claim they can't remember what deal they last hustled. Prices are not fair. Walk out there are a million jewelry stores in the city that offer guarantees. Wish I saw the reviews before wasting my time & money. I'm not sure how people sleep at night. SMH.

DO NOT GO TO THESE DISHONEST DEALERS, INCOMPETENT REPAIRERS: The short version is, they broke my watch. I work nearby and, pressed for time, I took my Victorinox to them for a simple battery replacement rather than going to my usual guy who is somewhat farther away on 41st near 5th. Once these clowns were done with it, it had stopped working completely, and they then had the balls to try to sell me a new watch -- told me how lucky I was, because it just so happens that they were having a special sale, how coincidental!! Smelling something very fishy, I said no thanks and took it to my regular watch repair guy. He told me that they had broken the movement trying to take out the battery, and instead of a $20 battery replacement it would now cost me $125 for a new movement!!! Wish I could give them a zero.

These guys provide fake and false warranties. I was promised lifetime warranty for a ring should I ever need cleaning, fixing, or anything and they tried to charge me for cleaning and fixing. I am not sure what their "lifetime warranty" includes but beware of this fraudulent promise they are not truthful!!!

We stopped by Madison because my mother needed a new watch battery. While we were there I asked the man if he could clean my ring. He had me take it off, looked at it and told me it wasn't worth it because it wasn't a real diamond. He then told me to clean it with windex. When I told him it was a real diamond his response was, "are you sure." We'll, according to the appraiser, insurance guy and paperwork and the reputable jeweler where we got it, it is very much a real diamond. He charge my mom $10.00 for the battery and we left. Later I went to a different jeweler who, like all the other jewelers I've asked in the past, gladly cleaned my ring for free and thanked me for stopping in. I left with a ring that shined like a brand new diamond. There are 100's of jewelers in Manhattan. I suggest you try someplace else.
