Learning French is not easy especially with all the exceptions. But Alliance Français de Singapour has planned out curriculum by levels that fits well for each. The 3 hours class on weekday evening can be taxing at times following a long day of work, otherwise, enjoyable experience to met new friends and teachers along the way! Shoutout to Ms Shenaz for her amazing lessons and patience. Enjoying my classes!

I’ve been consistently impressed by the cultural activities at Alliance Française de Singapour! Their events are always thoughtfully curated, engaging, and full of authentic French charm. Whether it’s film screenings, exhibitions, talks, or themed workshops, each experience feels enriching and welcoming to people of all backgrounds. The team puts so much effort into creating a warm, vibrant atmosphere, and you can really feel their passion for sharing French language and culture. It’s one of my favorite places in Singapore for cultural inspiration and creative discovery. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore French culture in a meaningful and enjoyable way!

Attended a Hindustani vocal music performance here and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The ambience is pleasant and well-suited for cultural events, with comfortable seating and a calm atmosphere that complements classical performances. The acoustics are well-designed — clear and balanced — enhancing the overall listening experience. The venue is conveniently located right next to Orchard MRT, making it very easy to reach even for first-time visitors. They also seem to allow outside catering, which makes it a practical choice for hosting private or community events. Overall, a well-maintained and accessible venue that offers a good setting for music and cultural performances.

Good range of French language classes for learners of different profiles and language needs. From toddlers to adult class they have everything you need to pick up on the language and culture. Location is near to MRT and does have limited parking lots if you drive. The small cafeteria is pretty awesome in their offerings too.

Coffee and Madeline was good. Coffee art was so pretty. Just had an event there and the falafels were awesome, fruits so fresh and sweet, bite size cucumber w hummus topped w a cherry tomato was exquisite. Great cafe at the ground floor.

Very intriguing experience at Allianz Francaise de Singapour I was looking forward to enrolling in a French class with AF using my SkillsFuture credits. However, I was told that the application could only be completed in person. To avoid any inconvenience, I emailed the Centre beforehand to confirm on their opening hours. When I arrived before 7pm, the centre was empty and I was asked to wait for the admin staff who was in a call. 5 minutes later, I was then informed that the admin staff had left for the day and that I would need to return another day - despite being told earlier that the Centre was open until 7.30pm. I was left confused and perplexed by this sudden change in availability when I was in fact, on time. Additionally, as this is an adult course and most participants would be working professionals, most of us would only be able to reach the Centre after regular office hours As an avid learner of French, I am disappointed to have missed the opportunity to pick up the language. Nonetheless, I would like to propose some suggestions for the centre/ prospective students 1. Update the stated operating hours to 7pm, since staff are no longer available beyond that time 2. Consider extending operating hours to accommodate adult learners who can only visit after office hours. 3. Prospective students should call the centre and make an appointment beforehand to ensure availability

Nice location, somewhat cramped for activities for large groups. Movie theater is well appointed. Food in the cafeteria is small servings and expensive. On the plus side, they've got tons of activities for kids and French language courses, bien sûr.

I came here just for their book fair, but discovered that they organize free exhibition all year long, and many French teachers here teach French classes for both kids and adults, the staff was nice as she reminds me of SkillsFutre/UTAP claimable here. Will ask my friend to try class for next term here.
