Allucant

On a bird watching tour and the owner, Javier, has gone out of his way to accommodate us...today he took time off of his work to lead us to find a couple of elusive species. Beds and amenities are comfortable and the location is just up from the Interpretive Center...about a 5 minute walk to the lagoon. We have seen about 5,000 cranes in our 2.5 days here. And the 3 course meals...omg. So delicious and so hard to choose one over another. Wonderful!

The absolute best hospitality! The owner and chef are both great people. You will eat the best dinner you’ve ever had here at a very reasonable price. Also they both speak great English which is a plus for birders that don’t speak Spanish

Positive: Dinner & breakfast was delicious. As the only guests at our time of stay, we had fantastic treatment from the hotel staff and chef. Loved the specially cooked vegetarian food - thanks. Extensive Natural History library was an added bonus..

We stayed in La Biblio with private bath. The room and bed was really comfortable with central heating. Everything well set out, great shower, plenty hot water. Immaculately clean.we had dinner in restaurant each night 9€ for 3 courses, really good food delicious homemade deserts like tirimasu. They catered so well for my vegetarian husband with dishes like asparagus and almond risotto and stuffed aubergine. Breakfast was meats, cheese, fruit, yogurt, cereal, cakes, eggs, fresh juice etc. javier was very helpful with local information (also speaks English).WiFi was free and good. Everything was perfect would definitely stay again.

Positive: Probably the closest place you can stay next to the Laguna. Although the room was not large, it had a view over the lake and you can hear the migrating cranes even with the windows closed. The bathroom is shared but very well maintained. Breakfast was simple but sufficient and an evening meal is possible. The owner is very knowledgeable about cranes and interesting to talk to. We would stay there again.. Negative: Nothing.

Although the hotel is a little off our normal route, it was well worth the visit. It is near a large lagoon which is a bird watchers paradise. The room was very clean and the bed most comfortable. The staff very friendly. We have stopped at a number of different hotels on our journey from the ferry to our villa on the Costa Blanca, but this was the best dinner and breakfast and by far the most reasonable we have encountered.We will certainly stay again on our return to the UK in July.The hotel is on the outskirts of a very small but quaint village. We must take photographs of the village next time. .

The hotel is very comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. We were on a birdwatching trip to see the migrating cranes, and the hotel's resident expert Javier was extremely helpful and provided lots of information on where and when to go. The hotel staff also went out of their way to ensure that the meal arrangements suited our timetable.

Positive: The location is great, just opposite the lake. Javi, (the owner?) was very attentive. The beds were comfortable and the common areas were clean. Food was decent and they even have a library with lots of great books about wildlife and other topics.. Negative: To hear that people have stolen books from the library in the past!.
