How Do I Get My Money’s Worth at an All-Inclusive Resort?

"Speaking of families, they especially love safaris because some lodges include child-minding services. This benefit allows couples to sneak away and enjoy a romantic candlelit dinner under the stars at no additional cost."

An Unforgettable South African Adventure – Perfectly Planned! Our recent trip to South Africa was nothing short of extraordinary, and we have Coral Cameron from Alluring Africa to thank for making it such a seamless, memorable experience. From start to finish, every detail was handled with care, expertise, and a genuine passion for creating unforgettable journeys. Our itinerary included Cape Town, Franschhoek, and the incredible Simbambili Safari Lodge — and each destination was curated to perfection. In Cape Town, we enjoyed breathtaking views from Table Mountain, explored vibrant neighborhoods, and visited the penguins colony of Boulders beach, all recommended by the team. The transition to Franschhoek was effortless, and our time there was wonderful! With elegant wine tastings, charming accommodations, and a relaxing pace that made it hard to leave. The grand finale at Simbambili Safari Lodge was pure magic. Every game drive was a new adventure, and the lodge itself was luxurious yet authentic, offering that perfect connection to nature. Knowing that Alluring Africa had personally vetted and arranged every element gave us complete peace of mind to simply relax and enjoy. We were stunned at how much wild life we saw, and how knowledgeable our guide and tracker were. What truly set Alluring Africa, and in particular, Coral, apart was her attention to detail and personal touch. Coral listened to our preferences, understood our travel style, and created an itinerary that felt completely our own. Communication was easy, responses were prompt, and everything ran flawlessly. We can’t recommend Alluring Africa highly enough for anyone considering a South African getaway. Their knowledge, professionalism, and genuine enthusiasm for what they do made all the difference. This was a trip of a lifetime — and we can’t wait to plan our next adventure with them!

We worked with Susan Neva from Alluring Africa to plan our dream trip to Africa. There were 6 of us and Susan crafted an amazing custom vacation for us. She listened to us, made several suggestions and then helped us tailor a truly one of a kind adventure. From the moment we landed in Cape Town until our departure from Johannesburg we were well taken care of with no logistical issues. We spent 5 glorious days in Cape Town at the wonderful Queen Victoria exploring the city, coast and nearby wine country. It was then off to Botswana for a weeklong safari adventure at 3 different camps - it truly was magical and beyond anything we could have imagined. We wrapped with a 2 day stay near Victoria Falls and a 1 night stay at the beautiful Peech Hotel to position us for our flight home the next day. I can’t recommend Susan / Alluring enough - such a wonderful trip.

Susan Neva booked us the MOST amazing family safari. It was so well curated and detail oriented. We stayed at beautiful lodges, had the best, most knowledgeable guides and life changing experiences. We were well taken care of every step of the way. She worked through every detail from beginning to end, to insure all of needs, concerns, and desires were met. She even checked on us during our trip. If you want a life changing, memory making Safari for you and/or your family-Susan will make it happen. She is a pure joy to work with.

This is our second trip booked by Alluring Africa. This time around Susan crafted us the perfect trip, with everything we were looking for. We had a few hiccups with lost luggage and political unrest which caused our itinerary to change mid-trip. Susan was very helpful making sure our trip proceeded with minimal interruption and angst. We are so pleased will likely book a third trip in the next year or two. If you are looking for the trip of a lifetime, this is the way to go!

An Africa safari has been on my bucket list for 25 years. I have travelled extensively over the years. Finally, a trip of a lifetime with African Bush Camps arranged by Coral at Alluring Africa! Two years ago I started working with a local travel agency, and the experience became so frustrating and overwhelming as we wanted bush camps, real and authentic Africa and the choices presented weren’t that. Eight months later I found ABC and Coral…our Safari was everything we wanted, although I do wish we had added a 4th camp! Kanga Expeditions, Mana Pools in Hwange Nation Park, Zimbabwe is a must!! Every minute was a memorable experience here, the elephants up close and personal drinking from the pool!! Look both ways before exiting the lodge as there is an elephant highway at the foot of the stairs! Love this! The sounds at night exhilarating and at first frightening, yet we loved it. The morning we left, 22 lions were feasting on a kill and we drove right up to them as it was on the road out of camp!! We saw elephants, zebra, lions, etc. Somalisa in Zimbabwe was our next bush camp, here we saw our beloved giraffes, of course hundreds of elephants, we tracked down the elusive mom leopard teaching her cub how to hunt! Here I woke to a giant couple of lions walking by our deck at 3am in the morning!! Talk about memorable experience! Linyanti Bush Camp in Botswana was our 3rd…Great Plains loaded with herds of elephants in the HUNDREDS, zebra and water buffalo too!! We had to rush past as our guide knew we did not want to be in the middle of hundreds of elephants!! The lions were super active here and on the hunt daily!! The swamp milkweed a great hiding place! We saw hippos here in Chobe National Park and wild dogs!! Our guides Reggie, Robert, Max, Brighton and Dolphis are experts in what they do, they know every inch of the parks and we trusted them completely at every turn and up close encounter!! A big shout out too to Sam and Savannah too. African Bush Camps is your ticket to authentic bush camp safari’s!! Wilderness Air was phenomenal too!! Thank you Coral for listening and delivering everything we asked for!! Remarkable teams throughout our trip! And we loved the Manor House on the waterfront in Capetown, loved the penguins and the journey to The Cape of Good Hope!!

What a fantastic adventure we had visiting South Africa and Mozambique! Cant say thank you enough to Coral and Alluring Africa for creating the perfect itinerary that fit our needs precisely and all seamlessly. The safari lodge, guides and trackers were all exceptional. The food and attention to detail, as well as the staff, were beyond our expectation. If you are hesitating in working with Alluring Africa, don't! They planned the perfect trip for us and we couldn't be happier! They were there every step of the way and we felt well cared for before, during and after the trip!

We just returned from a two-week safari in Southern Africa. Coral Cameron from Alluring Africa helped to create this adventure that featured visits to the Cape Town area and safaris in Sabi Sabi, Victoria Falls, and the Okavango Delta. Every step in Africa was covered by knowledgeable and helpful people who ensured that we got to every one of our planes, jeeps, and boats. Each of the hotels and safari lodges we stayed at was first-rate - an amazing oasis that provided us with a great place to rest up between trips into the wilderness. We saw so much and truly appreciated not having to worry about all the details that could have easily snarled our journey. Coral and Alluring Africa's expert plan and network of professionals ensured that this adventure to Africa would become our favorite trip to any place on the globe. I can't imagine how we could have seen all that we saw and did all that we did without Coral and the Alluring Africa team. Highly recommended!

Susan put together a perfect 2 week trip for us in Tanzania and Kenya. Every step of the way we were guided and cared for. The Elewana properties and their staff exceeded all of our expectations. Our safari guides were knowledgeable in not only the bird and animal species, but the flora, culture and the history of each area. As a photographer, our guides worked extra hard to get us at the right angle and where there was great lighting. Overall, this trip was everything we had hoped for and more. Thank you Susan!!

Yelp
I usually don't write reviews but i would want others to experience what we did! I went with Susan Neva. She was just great! she went above and beyond to make our trip perfect. I told her I was planning on getting engaged and she took it upon herself to make it even more special. I was nervous about doing this because a trip to Africa isn't the same as a normal vacation within the states. she reassured me that all I had to do was get on the plane and everything would be taken care of. let me say everything went perfect. we were more than happy to have dealt with Susan and Alluring Africa. words can't explain but it was the best trip ever! and all thanks to Susan and her extensive knowledge of Africa and listening to what we wanted to do and she made it happen! we visited cairo(which is even more amazing than any picture) kenya(safari @ serian the original- which I would highly recommend) and zanzibar which was absolutely beautiful. i pretty much told her very vaguely what we wanted and it's like she knew exactly what to do for our itinerary. there should be more than 5 stars for this!

Yelp
Alluring Africa arranged our recent trip to Tanzania. It was so good, I don't know if I can put my gratitude and amazement into words. Without the planning and preparation that Susan Neva at Alluring Africa provided, I know it wouldn't have been as perfect as it was. From the moment we landed in Africa, I felt that we were so well taken care of. We walked out of Kilimanjaro Airport not knowing what to expect but in a crowd of drivers, ours immediately got to us and whisked us to Rivertree Inn. Our greeting there and their accommodating a late night dinner for us was wonderful. The rooms were roomy, comfortable, pretty and the perfect place to land after a long travel day. We woke to the fun of many monkeys scampering around outside of our room and it was so fun to go out and watch them before heading to a great buffet breakfast. Shortly after breakfast our guide from Asilia Africa came for us. We were so happy from the moment we met him knowing that he would be with us the entire trip. He was so friendly, welcoming, caring and informative. He went out of his way to accomodate our needs, to continually check in with us about what worked best for us, was compassionate and helpful when some of us had queazy stomachs, made sure that every day we had the best experiences seeing so many animals and teaching us about animal life, Massai life and the life in general in Tanzania. In the end, he felt more like a friend and less like a guide. The accommodations were all way beyond our expectations. The tent camps were so fun as we saw and heard animals all around our rooms both night and mornings. I couldn't believe the luxury even though I had heard the term glamping. Maramboi Tented Lodge was lovely, we had zebras and water bucks around us constantly, the food and dining were amazing, each meal and the staff were beyond friendly and helpful. Moving on to Gibbs Farm was mind blowing. The farmhouses there had such exquisite views, were palatial as my grand-daughter described it. It was such a fun place to have New Year's Eve. They had local bands and entertainment, hats, masks and confetti at dinner. Along with a beautiful dinner there were poppers with cool African souvenirs inside. The music and celebration after was so fun. Again, the staff were so helpful and friendly and the food was so wonderful that we did not want to leave to move on to our next stop. But Lake Masek was a great place to spend our last four nights. The tent camp was so amazing. Seeing the wild life so close, the beauty of the lake, our wildly beautiful "tent", the Masaii who guided us safely from tents to restaurant, the friendliness of the staff made our trip so special. I had talked to Susan about a cake for my son-in-law's birthday dinner. But what I didn't expect was that the entire staff would come out with instruments and singing and would dance around the tables, pulling us into the lines with them for at least 15 minutes. It was so fun and he was beyond surprised and happy. I wish I could describe the daily safaris which of course was the whole purpose of the trip. What I had hoped for was outdone by the actual astounding experience of seeing so many beautiful animals so close and in so many varied places and activities. From the migrating wildebeests, the beautiful variety of birds, the feasting cheetah, hyenas, vultures and jackals, the prides of lions, the mating baboons, giraffes and lions, the pools of hippos and bathing elephants, the herds of zebras, the unbelievable varieties of impala, dikdiks, gazelles, the feeding and playing giraffes, the lions, zebras, wildebeest, elephants and baboons who came within feet of our vehicle, and the many varieties of animals that we never new existed this was a life altering experience. I wish I could describe better the profound feelings, joy and awe we felt as we went through this astounding journey. It was the more than a dream come true. None of this would have happened so perfectly without the wonderful planning from Alluring Africa.

Yelp
When you are planning a safari, there are many choices out there, but we found that Allure Africa helped us design a trip based on what we wanted. Every step of our journey from the accommodations and service to the flights went smoothly. The accomodations were exceptional, and the staff of each place we stayed was warm and welcoming. Susan Neva, our agent, helped us plan a trip that not only showed us the natural beauty of the landscape and animals on safari, but gave us opportunities to visit local schools and make connections with the people of Tanzania. Along the way, she gave us guidance on what is important on a trip like this and how to prepare for it. In the end, it was a life changing trip.
