Alma del Pacífico Beachfront Hotel Costa Rica

We loved the grounds. The Garden is amazing, lovely pools, great bar and restaurant área. Our seafront room was huge and very pleasant The shower was unlike Anything id seen before. Breakfast does not impress as much as the b rest of the experience and seawater is a bit too rough to be enjoyed. Would return, nonetheless

What a beautiful hotel Alma del Pacifico is! The hotel is so colorful, thoughtful, and sits on a beautiful beach!! I highly recommend visiting this hotel. The rooms are large and very accommodating. There is so much privacy. The beds are very firm. The breakfast is included and has a lot of options. They also have 2 for 1 happy hour. I would definitely come here again!

Hotel is just off the main highway and you would never know it was there which was nice. Staff and service were wonderful. The hotel is centrally located between activities and other locations. Many of the rooms are on the beach with full ocean views. We got a room with private plunge pool overlooking ocean which was nice and relaxing after a day of site seeing. Hotel courtyard gardens were pretty. Rooms and grounds were very clean and well manicured.

Overall we had a good experience at Alma Del Pacifico. It was nice to actually have a room that can fit 5 people. The pool and ocean access was perfect. They provide towels. The staff is very friendly. The two things we didn't like were the prices for lunch and dinner, and the "Kitchenette' has no plates or anything to eat on. So if you're doing your own food, you need to bring some with you. We would definitely stay here again.

Can't say enough great things about this hotel. The villas, the pools, the restaurant (breakfast is included), the spa (husband had a massage that was exceptional), the beachfront location, the staff and service - all amazing. We stayed 5 nights in a garden bungalow with king bed, located behind the pool area and furthest from the beach, but so private and the beach is still only steps away. The parking lot is staffed 24/7 with a guard who will check you in, and then open the gate as you leave/enter. The beach has miles of beautiful carpet-like sand and is not terribly busy. We felt very safe to leave our backpack on a lounge chair - with phones, watch, sunglasses etc. - while we went in the ocean or walked along the beach. The air conditioned villas are huge. Bed, side tables, long desk area, sofa, kitchen sink, water filter, bar fridge, glasses, mugs and cutlery, w/c, wardrobe, safe, sink and large vanity, indoor and outdoor showers accessed by a sliding door between the two. The restaurant serves a full complimentary breakfast as well as self serve fruit, yogurt, toast and jam. Nice selections for dinner and drinks (happy hour 4-6pm). Service was friendly and accommodating throughout. Pools are clean and refreshing - lots of chairs, loungers and tables with umbrellas.

Small beach front hotel in a very non-touristy area between Quepos and Jako in Punterenas, Costa Rica. 2 hour drive from San Jose. A number of rooms are right on the beach - we walked out our patio door, onto a small patch of grass, and then the sandy beach to the ocean. Wild life included flocks of McCaws Beautiful. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms. Restaurant on site. Miles and miles of beach to walk down, also included a lovely swimming pool and area.

Great boutique Hotel. From the location to the design and the service, everything set to give you the best possible experience. The Villa with private pool invites you to relax and enjoy hours looking at the sea, enjoying company and relaxing. Plenary of nature and wildlife, with Lapas and Iguanas at the top.

This was our third stay here. Rooms are large with a seating area, excellent shower and space for a couple of sun loungers on a small terrace area overlooking the ocean.|It must be one of the best beaches in the world and there are spectacular sunsets. |The pool area and gardens are super. Staff are all excellent and I thought it was good value for money.|Criticisms are few - the buffet aspect of the breakfast is poor and didn’t change throughout our stay. We ate a couple of meals here and there is little in the way of atmosphere, However this is a small hotel so there are never likely to be large numbers of fellow diners.|Unless you are a confident swimmer you are unlikely to venture into the ocean as the waves are impressive.However good for surfers!
