Easily one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. I haven't stayed at many, but this was such a wonderful experience. It's a very open hostel with lots of space to explore, including expensive grounds and a spacious living room. The 8 bed dorm was wonderful - it was quiet, there were no bunk beds, there was a large window with an amazing view, and it was very quiet. The manager, Christina, was extremely kind and helpful throughout our stay. The kitchen was large and well stocked, allowing us to make many meals. My only complaint was that there was a yoga retreat going on while we were there and we weren't allowed to use the kitchen while their food was made, but the chef was really nice and made room for us the next night. This hostel is located a little outside of the historical center of Sintra, about a 10-15 minute walk, which was quite nice. An added bonus is that it's an eco hostel, so they encourage many ways of saving energy and resources. I couldn't recommend staying here more!
