The upstairs art stands are great. Some of the artists are there and it's a calm and relaxed atmosphere. Downstairs is constant nagging by the sellers that want you to to into their stall. Every stall is the same.

Nothing special most of the stalks are almost identical and have the same items like in the city center, except for the art market upstairs and the nice view to the bay. The only difference is that the sellers don’t give you a break nagging on your head to get you into their stall, give you a high price in $ only. I found that the prices in some small places in Centro Viejo are even cheaper. You might get a good offer, but in general, the prices here are more touristy and in dollars. Highly recommend is to visit the upper floor where all the good are and the cafeteria are.

You can find nice souvenir but all in usd and somehow expensive. You should go all over stores to have a good idea about the prices and then start to bargain about an item. There are 4 main categories and abut 20 stores for each category. In each category (like clothes) the sale more less identical items. At the beginning there was a lady that offering a cloth for $80 and she told I can make it just for you $60 but I didn’t buy. At the end of mall it was $20 as original price and I bought for $15 They sell good coconut water for 100 pesos.

Such a fantastic experience. It was like being in a museum. Wonderful art works at affordable prices. Vendors and artists on the second floor were very respectful and gave us space to look at art slow without aggressively trying to make a sale. We bought a few pieces. The officials at the airport had to open painting tubes, but there was no issues. Do yourself a pleasure and visit the market. P.S: the first floor is entirely different experience with souvenirs and sales harassment.

Amazing place to buy souvenirs from Cuba! Almost everything you can dream of. Lots of varieties of souvenirs, and almost all the time the people are open for negotiations when you buy more stuff! All people should visit this place before leaving Cuba! 🥰

Go to the second floor to explore local art for a great price! Lots of tourist art but there are also original, creative pieces to be found. A must if you’re in Havana!
