My stay at Alma Cruz was overall a very pleasant experience, and I would gladly return. The hotel has a beautiful classic elegance, with stunning décor that thoughtfully reflects Chilean culture and identity. Despite being an older property, it is exceptionally well maintained, spotlessly clean, and full of charm. The location is excellent, and the staff were consistently attentive, kind, and professional throughout my stay. Breakfast was good, though for longer stays it can feel a bit repetitive, especially considering the standard of the hotel. The only inconvenience was an issue with the in-room fridge, which I needed to store medication. The appliance was faulty and released a strong odor, causing us headaches overnight until we identified the source. Once reported, the staff handled the situation promptly and with great care, safely storing my medication and resolving the issue the same day. Overall, Alma Cruz is a beautiful hotel with outstanding service, impeccable cleanliness, and a refined atmosphere. A minor, well-managed issue did not take away from an otherwise excellent stay.

It was OUTSTANDING, everyone at this hotel provides the best service a 5 Star hotel can give.From the concierge all the door people, the front desk, to the RESTAURANT where I had the BEST salmon Salad ever, (I asked to please put on the grill my raw salmon and it was late at knight, they were closed, they where cleaning) and they pleased me any way, I even asked if I could take it into my room, and they gave me Room service. I LOVED THIS HOTEL!, I will highly recommend it to EVERYONE

location so close and convenient, just about 20' driving from the airport. room is clean and wide, staffs are friendly and helpful. breakfast here is so delicious!

We were treated warmly as we arrived at the reception on the first floor. It was early so they stored our bags until 3 pm check in. We came back and checked in around 5pm. We traveled to the 6th floor to check in. All went good. Front desk was in good humor and all was well. Our room was on the 7th floor. When we arrived the room was warm but it required the key card to be inserted into a slot. I just thought it was at a maintenance temperature until check in. WRONG!!! We got another keycard so could leave one in the slot. By midnight it was clear this is the room temperature, 25 degrees C. I tried to adjust the target temperature to 18 as the display never was able to go below 25. I spent the night trying to understand what was going on. The next morning we went to the front desk to advise and they said they would send a technician. He arrived promptly but only said to leave the fan on, it was. When I showed him that the temperature shows on the display 25 degrees at that moment. He said that that never changes, just to disregard that display. When we showed that we now have the ac set to 16 and the room felt like 25. No no, that’s wrong he advised. That he also gets hot at night. We asked to have a fan brought up. It was. Over the next night the room was at roughly 20 degrees with fan at full speed and a sweep. Tonight, I am writing this at 3:30am and the room feels 25 degrees. ||||My conclusion is the room has no control over the ac, the technician will not, can not adjust the temperature or does not know what to do. So in the end, we were unable to sleep a good nights sleep on the last day of our 3 night stay. ||||In summary, I would avoid the Almacruz Hotel unless you need a warm room, borderline hot room because that is your preferred temperature. Not mine, and it was nice they tried to help but it appears they know they have an ac problem and either it was by design or they just don’t want to spend the money to fix it. Regardless, had I known I would never have booked these rooms. More so, they were very nice in bringing a fan, but that did not solve my problem. ||||Second issue, a bed that served its time, made a lot of money for the hotel, and was over used for a period of years. I have experienced worse, and the a/c issues took my attention, but this hotel has seen better days.

We had an emergency at the airport and luckily we found a room at this hotel. Everyone was so nice to us. From the concierge to the receptionist. They explained the food and locations. The hotel is beautiful in its own way. The food was excellent and we really enjoyed the breakfast. The room was clean and we heard nothing through the night. Very well located. And the pool was perfect. It is really like the pictures they show.

We stayed here for a couple of days and there's definitely pros and cons. I's very centrally located and convenient. The door people do a great job of keeping an eye who comes in and letting you know when your taxi is here. The front desk and the breakfast buffet are on the sixth floor and rooms are on floors seven through 12. The buffet is quite large with an excellent variety of items that changed from day to day. The small pool also has pool towels and it's quite charming. It was very reasonably priced per night. There are only two elevators and they only hold six people each. The inside has a lot of dark wood which makes it feel outdated. Some of the staff speak English well, some don't so keep that in mind. The room itself was fine with a fairly large closet. We had two queen beds, a TV, a nightstand, and two armchairs with a little table. The bathroom only has one light and it's quite dark in the bathtub/shower. The keycards are horrible and took me several tries each time to open the door.
