Almacruz Hotel y Centro de Convenciones

If your day tour starts before the included breakfast starts, they don't give you coffee, even though the reception is right next to a coffee machine. If you are an experienced traveler like me, you'll know that says a lot about the quality of the hotel (otherwise a worn out yet pretty place). I am the kind of person who loves their morning coffee. Hence, I cannot go over two stars.

Hotel is not nice at all. They refused early check in despite not being full. Air conditioning didn’t work. Asked someone to come to the room and all they said was it was slow, mind you this was after 3 hours of attempting to cool it down. Place is super dated. As others said, not worth the money and wish we would have looked elsewhere.

Rooms and bathrooms could use a major upgrade. |Rooms look like they are originally from the 1970’s!! Worn and scratched furniture and carpet. |Only English TV channel is BBC news. Bed was comfy. |Swimming pool was too dirty for me to swim in. |Good downtown location. |Great front desk staff.

We did a wine tasting, it was amazing. Good value for the price, Cynthia prepared 4 different wines from different regions, thoroguhly explained all about them. For some of them prepared a snack paring as well. Great experience, totally recommend

I have stayed here a couple of times, and the service and amenities were excellent.

Hotel is Central, but according to several people on a quite dangerous street We had Problems with a smelly room, but we got a new room Breakfast is ok, no veggies available Pool is basically not usable because you would swimm 1m away from the restaurant and dinning people

Globally it’s ok but I excepted better. Some stuff at the reception are not respectful to customers. |No hot water sometimes or a very small pressure. The air evacuation at the bathroom was defected and I have to deal with it. |Nevertheless, the stuff at the 1st floor are very welcoming and nice
