The hotel is advertised as a 5-star property, but in reality it deserves no more than a solid 4 stars. The reasons are simple: the rooms are extremely modest, the elevators are slow and in need of adjustment — this is not the standard of a true 5-star hotel. The hotel’s “lobby” is rather symbolic — just one large sofa covered in worn-out faux leather. That’s where all the comfort ends. The space badly needs a redesign if the hotel wants to live up to its 5-star claim. The so-called “superior junior suites” (232, 332, 432, 532) with a partial sea view are actually located right above the kitchen. Throughout the day you hear constant noise from the ventilation and kitchen equipment, and in the evening the smell of fried food fills the room. The sea view is barely visible. There are no mosquito screens, so you can’t use the balcony comfortably — it’s noisy and smelly during the day, and full of mosquitoes at night. We visited off-season, when occupancy was no more than 60–70%, yet we were still given a room above the kitchen. This shows poor management and lack of attention to guests. Additionally, the hotel should seriously reconsider the number of guests with pets. It’s a hotel, not an animal shelter — and excessive numbers of dogs around the property clearly affect the atmosphere and comfort level. Overall, the hotel could reach 5-star standards if it focused more on the basics — comfort, silence, and quality accommodation. This review is not meant as harsh criticism but rather as constructive feedback. The hotel has potential — the location is good, and with some attention to detail and management improvements, it could truly meet 5-star standards. These comments are meant as suggestions to help raise the quality of service and guest experience.

This was my third time staying at this resort and this was a mixed bag. Last year I wasn’t able to check in right away because admittedly I arrived early but I hung out by the pool and had a couple of glasses of Prosecco until about 2:30 when I was shown to my room which was upgraded from a lateral sea view to full sea view and was greeted with a bottle of Prosecco and fruit plate because of my iPrefer status. ||This year was a decidedly different arrival experience. Started with the fact that the airport transfer I arranged through the hotel was not on time. My flight arrived a bit early and I had to wait I think 30 minutes (I was tired so don’t exactly remember). I was frankly worried I would have to take a taxi so that made me a bit anxious and frankly grumpy from the get go. Can’t really fault the hotel for this but a transfer service should monitor flight status- isn’t that why they ask for your flight info after all?||As expected when I arrived my room wasn’t ready but I was prepared this time and had my swimsuit and poolside items accessible to spend time by the pool. However, when I asked about a room upgrade because of my iPrefer status…denied. Told the hotel was fully booked. Fine. A couple of hours later after spending time in the full on sun (because all sunbeds with an umbrella were occupied) and several dips in the pool I went to reception to politely ask if there was an estimated time for my room to be ready. I was sternly told checkout is 12, my room will not be ready until 3. I understand if a room is not ready early but the attitude was off putting to say the least. A manager at some point came up to me maybe seeing I was not thoroughly enjoying myself, and I told her my experience. She seemed empathetic and ordered a complimentary glass of Prosecco for me. I was able to check in a bit prior to 3 pm but when I got escorted to my room, no welcome Prosecco and fruit, so I asked for it referencing that it is an iPrefer perk. That seemed to confuse the woman who showed me my room. I had to call down and ask for it again, but it did eventually come.||Now for the positives- the rooms are clean, spacious and well appointed. I don’t recall the bathroom toiletries last year but they changed the brand and now have included conditioner and I absolutely love the fragrance! The resort is beautiful and the beach and pool are fantastic. The workout room is picturesque (albeit warm, and warmer than previous stays, because, well, it was very hot) and there are still complimentary wellness sessions on offer but more limited. I missed having Sveva as the instructor but my Pilates session was very good. And the spa is a very nice space and Josephine who performed my services both days was amazing. ||The breakfast is actually pretty impressive and I don’t normally partake on vacation but it’s included and they offer up bubbly. A vast selection of fruit, nuts, cereals, breads, eggs, meat, cheese, you name it. And you can’t beat sitting poolside to enjoy a nice breakfast. ||I was on the fence on arrival day about returning but I think I will but with tempered expectations around service. And I would recommend for those wanting a nice beach, pool, and spa resort.

Just got back from 7 nights at Almar , so pleased with this hotel from start to finish. We used this as a base so we could visit Venice , Murano and Burano . |Excellent pool facilities and the spa was a real bonus. Super clean and awesome breakfast. Would highly recommend and the bikes were great we used them every day . You can’t check in until 3 pm ( we got in around 12.30 pm . ) we took our swim gear and made use of the pool and spa on arrival. Drinks are expensive but the supermarket wasn’t far away so we used both . |The nice thing about this hotel was its at the start of the strip so nice and quiet , we found a lovely restaurant every night on the strip and wasn’t disappointed and of course a gelato to finish in the walk home

I stayed at Hotel Almar and overall had a good experience. The hotel itself is comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. The dinners were delicious and of high quality — definitely one of the highlights of our stay. However, lunch service was disappointing. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive. We often had to wait a long time for our meals, while Italian guests were clearly given priority. The waiters were unfriendly and at times even rude, which really contrasted with the otherwise high standards of the hotel. If the lunch service matched the level of the dinners, this would be an excellent place to stay.

A Slice of Paradise for Families and Pure Relaxation My wife, our four children, and I recently stayed at Almar Jesolo Resort and Spa, and it was absolutely outstanding. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, everything exceeded our expectations. The resort is beautifully modern, warm, and welcoming. Our rooms were immaculate, spacious, and designed with real care and comfort in mind. Waking up each morning to the view of the sea and having breakfast together in such a serene setting was something we will never forget. The staff was exceptional. Everyone we encountered was professional, kind, and incredibly attentive. They made us feel genuinely cared for. Traveling with four kids is not always easy, but the team at Almar made it feel effortless. The pool area was pristine, and the private beach access was a major highlight for our family. The kids loved every moment by the sea, and we appreciated the peace, the great food, and the excellent service. Although we did not take full advantage of the spa this time, the facilities looked incredible. We are already planning to return, and next time we will definitely include some wellness time. If you are looking for a luxurious, family-friendly resort with elegance, heart, and top-tier service, Almar Jesolo is the perfect choice. We made unforgettable memories and cannot wait to come back. This is a stand-alone hotel with classic style top service from the facilities to the staff. We felt special from the minute we arrived to check in to the minute we left. The rooms were beautifully modern, and paying that little extra for the sea view was worth it. We didn't try the spa but so many of the other guests we stop to raved on about it and the great heated indoor / outdoor pool is fabulous with some of the most comfortable sun beds I have ever lay on. The buffet style breakfast with freshly squeezed juices to order and eggs as you want is such a treat for the start of the day, with a selection of every style of breakfast choice available. The staff are so friendly and helpful and are dressed and groomed to such a high classy standard, such a nice touch. I would highly recommend this wonderful hotel and we will be heading back next year.

Amazing resort for a relaxing time in couple or as a family. Great service, amazing breakfast and very practical access to the beach. We traveled with a small baby and couldn’t have asked for a better destination for fun and relax (and spa time for mommy).

Lovely hotel staff are all very nice and friendly. With the exception of one who when asked if they had mint tea was thrown and didn’t understand so for the rest of breakfast he avoided us, but asked the other tables if they needed anything. |Rooms are cleaned and turned down every day. |The downside for us |The rooms were very warm approaching end of may , and the heat is set to 22 .I asked about why the air-con wasn’t working reception said they were holding off with it but turned of the heat , and suggested open doors. but to be honest this was not a cheap holiday package we had paid £2k for a week B&B so the air con would have been nice. Especially since we are now about 20 mosquito bites in each .|The location is at the very end of a long road nice quiet location with restaurants not to far away and the complimentary bikes are a good positive if you fancy getting around as they have very good cycle paths.|Weather has not been great but i am sure in the hight of summer the are will be very busy judging by the amount of sun umbrella’s. |4*

Yelp
Wonderful hotel & spa in Jesolo Italy. Beautiful rooms, great service and incredible breakfast buffet. Our room had an ocean view, large patio and very comfortable bed. Spa access is included with a large hot tub and multiple steam/sauna rooms. There is an indoor/outdoor pool as well. Beach access with chairs and towels are provided. What a hidden gem. Close enough to get to Punta Sabbioni which is where you catch the water taxi to Venice, Burano, Murano, etc.

Yelp
We stayed here in the "luxury " loft suite with Jacuzzi. Not only did the Jacuzzi not work without intervention of the maintenance crew, but the water leaked out all over the floor and into the bedroom. They cleaned the tile floor but left the carpet soaking wet for the remainder of our stay. They refused to give us another room. They promised to compensate with a couple free nights in the cheapest room, but then refused to respond to multiple queries. They even accused us of pouring the water on the floor ourselves, to get a discount. As the photos show, there was way too much water for that. That's why maintenance was called and came to the room 5 times during our weekend stay. We tried talking to the managers, Enzo and Monica, who were never available and do not answer customer requests over the weekend. In over 2 weeks since our stay, and with me calling 5 times, they have never called me back. It just shows how much these people care about customers. They will care even less when you book a normal room, I am sure. This hotel is a scam. The service level was so bad. Fake promises every time you connect. Guaranteed they will respond to this review with blaming us again too. Don't waste your money.
