Almmonte Sensum Suites Designhotel

We are here in Wagrain with friends- most of the group is at the sister hotel Almmonte Präclarum Suites and my family and I are at Sensum Suites a short 10 minute walk away. We love everything about this hotel. The room is perfect for the three of us and the pool and spa are perfect after a day of skiing. The best part of all is our host Diana. She has been welcoming, kind and helpful from the moment we checked in. She has given great advice, remembered breakfast order each morning and made us feel at home. We are already planning to return again this winter.

Great boutique hotel with very friendly staff. Julia was amazing and went out of her way to be a wonderful hostess. Would recommend eating in the on-site Louis Eatery, everything freshly cooked which means a limited but great menu. Spa was a perfect place to relax at the end of a hard days skiing and chat with the other multi-National guests. Rooms very comfortable and quiet, as just far enough away from one of the major apres skiing venues but walking distance if you enjoy the action. Finally, the hotel is very close to the button lift - just across the road - that gets you to the Flying Mozart and at the end of the day you can ski right back to the hotel.||This was our5th visit to Wagrain and we will certainly be staying at the Almmonte Sensum on our next visit.||Ps despite the weather the skiing was amazing, with loads of runs and places to explore.

Nice hotel and people. Unfortunately dinner was not as refined as described. Also we asked for a breakfast when leaving early, but nothing was there upon departure. Breakfast was ok, but simple and not enough fruits. In my opinion it’s the price is too high for the quality.

The hotel itself is finished to a very high standard with excellent interior design and lighting. ||Rooms are well equipped and again of a very high standard. ||||The location is absolutely perfect for families as the ski school is literally across the road allowing kids to come and go from the hotel. ||There is a sledding area to one side of the hotel allowing kids to play while parents have an apres ski drink with kids in view. ||The hotel provide sleds for kids to use. ||The local swimming pool is a short walk along a pedestrian path so again very safe for kids. ||||The restaurant is Italian and the food is excellent. ||Breakfast offers a range of meats and cheeses with eggs and back cooked to order. ||||Finally all this would be irrelevant if it weren’t for the excellent staff. The hotel manageress is the hotels biggest asset. We were treated like family and nothing was too much trouble.||||We actually booked again for next year before we left! ||Highly recommended for couples or families.

Great place to stay for a ski trip! We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights and were really surprised by the nice combination of design and comfort. The location is great if you want to start skiing right from the hotel. In case there is not enough snow, you can just take the skibus in front of the hotel for 2 stops (+-600m) and you are at one of the main lifts to go up the mountain. The rooms are very clean and spacious, we shared a room with 3 adults which is perfectly possible as they are big enough. As Wagrain was already closing down to the end of the season, we had 2x dinner in the Ciao Ciao resto of the hotel and 2x in the Almmonte resto just next to the Flying Mozart lift. Both places are fantastic to have dinner and at different price levels. Breakfast is also a real pleasure. The small wellness is nice and with a pool coming up it will even be better in the near future. Very important is also the welcome and support by the team. Special recommandations for Adèle and Sabrina for really being so kind and helpfull !

Hotel in the Austrian mountains with a nice atmosphere. Excellent food if you’re not looking for a typical ‘schnitchel’. Smooth and courteous style that enriches the experience. Friendly service. Comfortable beds.

This hotel is the best you could book in Wagrain, Salzburg. It is really close to the slopes, the skibus stops right in front and since it is pretty high up, the view is perfect. The organization of the room is perfect, I loved showering in the separate shower 'room' every day. They are also very dog friendly, my little pupper loved every minute spent here. Cleanness is also very well organized and their in-house restaurant is definitely worth a try.||However, what makes this place so perfect is the staff. The receptionists were the most amazing. My brother was unlucky enough to have a skiing accident the first day, he had to have an immediate surgery. We coul bring him back to the hotel, and the only thing that kept him form going insane was the professionalism of the two receptionists, Adele and Sabrina. They ordered food for us, they arranged a different cleaning schedule, they provided everything we asked for with care. It felt a little like we were home.||Thank you for this! I will make sure to return to this place as soon as possible!

We are a family of five, 2 adults and three kids. We were driving from Denmark and when we arrived to Almmonte Sentum, they helped us to move all the stuff from the car to the room. What a brilliant service:) the hotel is located near the t- lift and the skiing bus is stopping 10 meters from the hotel. We were living in there family room of 37 sqm, everything is made of wood and new. The hotel is serving a local breakfast with yogurt, eggs and bread and nice coffee every morning. Especially Adele their hotel manager, were so kind and created a perfect stay for my family and me, I hope to return one day in the future
