Almont Inland Resort

Almont Inland Resort – Butuan We had a relaxing stay at Almont Inland. The food was tastefully done, and we especially enjoyed the thin-crust pizza, 4 Seasons shake, and blueberry cheesecake all were delicious! 🍕🍰 Our room was spacious and clean, though we noticed a few minor issues like wall cracks in the toilet area and a TV that wasn’t functioning well. My husband enjoyed the swimming pool, but just a heads-up: the pool is 2 meters deep in some areas, so extra caution is needed especially if you’re not a strong swimmer. Their customer service was fast and responsive, which made the overall experience smooth and pleasant.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Rooms were excellent with good AC and comfort. Just missing some hooks to hang stuff on in shower or near sink. Breakfast buffet was a mess at 9 am. A lot of empty bowls, some weren't refilled at all while there. No bacon is unforgivable!!! Coffee was excellent tho. Didnt try pool or other dining options.

One thing I really appreciate about Almont Inland Resort is their staff. You’ll always be greeted with a smile, and it feels like everyone knows your name. It makes the whole stay feel extra personal. I also love that I can bring guests anytime of the day since they’re the only place in Butuan with daily buffets from breakfast to dinner. Plus, their pizza bar is a favorite of mine!

This resort has spacious rooms, and nice pool that my child enjoys. It has also big parking space and within walking distance from nearby Malls such as Gaisano Mall and SM. They also offer free airport transfers which is very convenient. I booked through their website, and thankfully they have lower rates, and I also find it convenient during my multiple rebooking. Their staff are accommodating and patience. I highly recommend this Hotel/Resort.

Best place to stay in Butuan. In a busy area but you feel secluded in the resort. Great place to take the family. Rooms are very nice and simple. Staff was amazing. Food very good. Brought family from the area when we traveled in and they loved it. Only complaint would be child play area not able to be fully utilized due to lack of maintance but the attraction is the pools. Front desk top notch and so are the food servers. Call out to Russell and Claudine and Anna Lynn. So many more but could not remember names of everyone. Then easily can go to any malls or attractions.

Almont Inland Resort is my primary location when I travel to Butuan, Philippines. It’s the most professionally run place I’ve experienced, offering outstanding service. From diverse food choices during breakfast to buffet dinners, everything was top-notch. The rooms, pool, and overall atmosphere exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

The Good = The room is quiet. Just renovated - I guess.The room is far from lobby, need to take buggy ride for 5 minutes.Checkout must walk yourself to the lobby. The walk way is not paved, difficult to walk with heavy luggage.The toilet seat was bad, cannot stand and keep on close by itself.Breakfast start at 6am but need to check out 5am to catch flight. Receive a sandwich from hotel.The toilet bowl cannot flush properly as well.

The resort is spacious and we needed to ride a golf cart to get to the room. We could always walk but the pathway to the rooms are not ideal for luggages. The room we booked was great and had a smart TV (but you need your own credentials to log-in). It was also spacious and cozy. The pool is not that big but was good enough. The kiddie pool is nice since it’s not that deep and the water slide is a nice touch. The kids playground was also something that kids would enjoy. Wifi is also strong in all areas. The only hiccup in our stay was the breakfast buffet. They ran out of most food even though it was still ~8AM and refill took a bit longer. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would visit again soon.
