Almostaranch

Almostaranch is one of the best locations to stay in Durango Colorado. Owned by longtime Durango residents Terry and Rhonda Hunt. The property is superbly decorated and provides access to the world class activities in the area. Only 15 minutes from town, 5 minutes from the ski area and 30 minutes from Silverton. Highly recommended!

Clean, warm & cozy place to relax!! ❤️

Our stay here was phenomenal! The hosts were very responsive, and honestly saved us from a possibly vacation-derailing situation with a different Airbnb listing. They also made sure we had everything we needed to stay warm. The place is in a gorgeous location, with both beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Lots of hiking close by on really beautiful trails. Right down the road are horse rides in the summer, and wagon/sleigh rides in the winter. Close enough to Durango and Silverton to be a great base camp for either. Inside, it was very comfortable. Well maintained and thoughtfully laid out - the beds are very comfortable, the in-floor heating was wonderful with the cold outside, and the bathrooms were both very nice. The kitchen was great and covered all of our needs for our stay. It really was a comfortable place to crash in the evenings after being out and about - couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Overall, this is a shining example of what an Airbnb should be - 5 stars!
