We came here for lunch. There is not a big selection of food but with schnitzel, you can trust it. Schnitzel was really tasty and the portion was good too. Service was happy to see us and kind. The site of this place is the best of it. I can recommend it.

Schwarzensee is a rather hidden lake in Salzkammergut, which does not mean it's not worth visiting. Almstadl is one of the two restaurants on its shore and is more oriented towards snacks. The Brettljause was quite good, with fresh bread and more different kinds of cheese than usual. Cold Eggenberger beer was very welcome.

After very long way to several hills is lovely restaurant near this awesome hot n clean lake. Food(dumplings stuffed with bacon with white cabbage) n staff is too friendly with some eng words ;) ..for us 5*

We had Wiener Schnitzel and Kasebrott for lunch during a round trip walk from St Wolfgang. The schnitzel was the best I've had. Service was efficient and enthusiastic. They were fairly busy but we got a table without waiting.
