Such nice personnel so cheerful and helpful. The place is idyllic and the food also, all home made. Thr kaiserschamarn, the kaiserspatzle...the secret steak. Will never forget it. For me the best lunch in Solden

Best spot for lunch in the Sölden area, by far! Great atmosphere, you can smell how deliciously well the home made products are prepared. A cosy terrace with multiple levels, makes it intimate in comparison to the other places. Its popularity is probably its only downside: you can only reserve if you book a fondue menu, otherwise be early - at least 11:30 to secure a spot.

The best alm in Sölden, without a doubt! The scenery is fantastic, the food is super good (can really recommend the cheese fondue!) and the staff is great. Very popular so be prepared to wait for a table, but it is worth it! Can absolutely recommend!

One of my absolute favourite spots for a lunch break while skiing in Sölden. Locally sourced ingredients, home-made Sauerkraut, and a good amount of Vegetarian and Vegan options. My absolute recommendation would be the cheese fondue (Käsefondue), which you have to pre-order two days in advance. A great experience by itself. A sure stop whenever I'm in Sölden.

Very nice place to rest - we took a 1.5hr walk from Sölden up there (630m of height only). We had very good food and especially the Kaiserschmarrn is wxceptional. Also the fresh buttermilk woth cranberries is a great experience. The sewting is super comfortable and the view fanatstic. Very memorable also that all food is produced in the region and in a sustainable way.

Food is tasty, though a bit more expensive than average. 2 stars because the waitress became very impolite and almost rude when we wanted to pay by card (more than 40 euro).

Simply love this place! Great cheese fondue (by reservation only), sausages, Kaisersmarn, etc. Staff is always nice and the vibe is nice. We have been coming back since years now. Bring cash money though.

While we were skiing, we wanted to have some nice food & drinks, so we decided to go there. First impression was great, they offered us seating and bring the menu. And that's it. Bang, waiters dissapear, nobody came in 10 minutes to us. One lady just dry out cutlerry and the others have had something else on bussiness. It was slightly after 3PM, stuff looked like they've already win jackpot for the day, nothing else needed to earn from customers. Hopefully this was only one bad experience, but for us not the good one.

Yelp
Hands down the best lunch in Sölden. Fresh and home made products, an awesome terrace and really friendly staff, what's not to love? Spoil yourself with a cheese fondue and bask in the sun.

Yelp
While we've been to this area of Austria before this was our first visit to what had been a highly recommended local eatery. Yes the view is spectacular, yes the idea of eating locally produced organic food is appealing, and yes many of the other dishes being served to other customers looked great. Unfortunately our very busy (and rarely appearing) waitress lacked the skills necessary to properly inform us of what to expect menu and order wise. While we tried to communicate with her our questions concerning the meals she essentially rushed off and eventually brought us only a portion of what we wanted to order. Clearly, as we sat continually waiting for our server, we observed other wait staff speaking better English &/or being more patient in explaining the menu. What could have been a fun-filled alpine afternoon moment simply ended up leaving us with a bitter taste not to be repeated.
