Very calm place with lots of spots where you can simply sit and rest your mind. We arrived too early to enter the lighthouse or café, but we could still walk around and enjoy the landscapes — we even saw a rainbow. I strongly recommend bringing a thermos with tea or coffee; it makes the experience feel much cozier.

Spectacularly isolated lighthouse - very steep steps/ladders to the top. Lovely visitor centre - how on earth they make it pay when it's in the middle of nowhere beats me, but it was all lovely.

I always look forward to visiting lighthouses when I travel and I was very happy to find this one. Unfortunately, it was 3:00pm when we arrived, and the lighthouse and the cafe were closing, but we were able to walk up to the lighthouse to take pictures. The cafe was very clean and modern with big open windows with a beautiful view; we had walked in just as they were closing. There was plenty of parking and you had to pay to park. This beautiful lighthouse with scenic views was built in 1853 and stands 22.5 m high. This lighthouse is not a far drive from Ålesund and it is well worth the trip.

Nice relaxing place. Excellent way to see the lighthouse and the surrounding area.

The lighthouse wasn't open to go in when we visited but you could walk around it and enjoy the beach and open views all around. There is a centre very close with cafe and art displays, plenty of parking and it was really quiet when we visited. A great place to relax and explore

Lovely interesting lighthouse that you can enter and climb. The view is extraordinary.

The area is very beautiful. You need to climb narrow stairs inside of the lighthouse, it is not long, takes 2-3 minutes. The view is outstanding. We were there in June, and It was very cold and windy on the top.
