I have had now two horrible interactions here. First, the staff refused to honor a coupon I received for a 15% off my first purchase because they were “unable to get the code to work.” Second, I received some leggings as a gift for my birthday and wanted to exchange them for a size larger. The staff were “unable” to assist me, as my family members phone number did not list the transaction under their account. The leggings were unworn, still had the tag, and were still on display with multiple sizes in stock. The staff could not be bothered, insisting I take it up with customer support. The branding and pricing would suggest Alo thinks of themselves as a premium brand. However, their mid quality and incompetent service would strongly suggest otherwise. If you’re dying to waste your money on trendy fitness wear — save yourself the headache and go to LuLu instead.

Blond female grumpy staff at Southpark store, who thinks shes in charge at this store is incredibly rude. I am literally trying to help my daughter try on clothes and the super rude girl screamed at me to come out of the fitting room. Im paying for all the crap. Super duper crappy, no offer to help, no professionalism just trashy crappy attitude; like i am planning to steal. Only the nice guy working the checkout treated us remotely kindly . Don't shop here.

Had a humiliating and utterly horrible experience in the Charlotte NC store on 11/29. Needed to return items that simply didn’t fit me. I had purchased the items on 11/26. I asked with that purchase if I could provide some cash and the remainder on my debit card. The ONLY response I was given was of course. Upon trying to return the manager would not give me my cash back. She said loudly in front of a crowd of people in line, that this was the policy, she’s trained her whole staff to tell people. I stressed to her that it was NEVER explained to me and if so I would have never given cash. She said well I’m not going to lose my job over this. I asked for the customer service number and she said you can call but they will not do anything for you. This was only my third time in ALO as this store is new in my area. I literally wanted to cry because of how terribly I was treated. If she is the manager, of which I have been one myself, she doesn’t know how to treat people at all. If this is the policy there is no way of knowing as it’s not posted, no one said a word and you wouldn’t know until after a receipt is printed which is too late. It’s like taking someone’s money without their permission. Deceptive. This experience alone makes me NEVER want to buy from the store or brand again.

Love it here and so happy we have Alo in Charlotte! Staff are professional and available if you need additional sizes in the back. They also gave me an item that was not even on their shelves yet that I requested and allowed me to try on multiple sizes. They are proactive and don't hover over you which I highly value!!! The store is so clean!

Received an email on 12/3/24 with a nice sale on a couple of items that interested us, went to the store the very next morning and got to the register and was told..."oh, that sale ended yesterday" 🤣 No thanks!! Blocked and unsubscribed. We don't appreciate what was essentially false advertising or bait and switch tactics.

Went into the store looking for some cute outfits. Two of the employees were standing right at the front. No one ever greeted me and my friend or asked us if we needed help. We continued to look around the store and still nothing. As we were leaving WE spoke to the two employees at the front. They literally just stared at us and said NOTHING! I will never patronize this business. They are super rude and honestly make you feel like they don’t want you in their store. If I could leave zero stars I would.

I came into the Alo store on 11/8, having never shopped at Alo (I usually buy lululemon), but wanting to try out the brand since I had seen it around and knew it was quality stuff. I was excited to have an actual store and try on a bunch of different stuff and potentially buy a lot. Not one person working in that store offered to help me. Everyone that was working was offering their assistance and checking in on everyone around me, except me. I clearly looked lost and like I needed some assistance but instead the employees simply looked at me and then turned around helped everyone else. I felt like I was being “Pretty Woman”’d except they were helping all the size 0 women in the store. I am within their size range, but regardless of that I felt very discriminated against and as if I didn’t belong. It was not a welcoming experience. Let’s hope if I decide to give this location another shot, someone will help!

We spent this past weekend in Charlotte and had an opportunity to shop in Alo. I was glad my Granddaughter was able to find the jacket in her size.

I've been to this location several times and I'm always amazed at the fact that no one speaks to you. Employees will stand there or even walk by and not a word. Took two friends in with me today and both didn't buy a thing as they said the employees were just rude. Love Alo but customer service or even a "hello" goes a long way.

Be careful when trying to exchange products. I purchased tights on sale for my daughter and needed to exchange for different size. However they didn't have the same color so they charged me regular price for the different color. Not a good policy.
