Alobar1000 Hostel

Loved my stay here. Only was here for one night in June but had checked out the hostel due to some friends having stayed here beforehand in April already a couple of times. |The vibe and energy of this place is great, very inviting, warm, and peaceful which I appreciated a lot. |It may me a tiny bit more expensive than some other hostels buuut I contribute that to the pool which is nice, and it is the cleanest place I’ve stayed in in Nepal, with good facilities, very comfortable beds, amazingly friendly staff and I’ve had the luck to be able to tackle along to the city tour Kish, their travel agent, did back in April. Very much a wonderful tour - he gave some insight into typical Nepali life, we did a little sightseeing and he brought us to a few nice local recommendations including a really great, hidden gem for samosas. Would absolutely recommend.

I had a great stay here! The hotel is in a nice location, the food was tasty, and my room was spacious and comfortable. What really made the difference was the staff – everyone was friendly and professional, and I truly appreciated their support. A special thank you to Ajaya, who was incredibly helpful and kind – he really went above and beyond to assist me. Warm greetings to him and the whole team. I definitely recommend this place!

Great hostel! It was clean and well-maintained. The pool was refreshing and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere with good food. Staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended for anyone staying in Kathmandu.

Hi I was here from last one month. The hostel was amazing, very quiet and very peaceful. I like this hostel pretty much ❤️ Nice lobby to spend time in hostel and nice pool too. The staff here Ajay and Pasang and all the other staff who were working here very polite and extremely helpful 😊 I recommend this hostel for stay 10/10 ❤️

I recently stayed at Hotel Alobar1000 and had a great experience overall. The location is perfect—right in the heart of Thamel, yet tucked away just enough to offer some peace and quiet. The staff was incredibly friendly and always willing to help, whether it was arranging taxis, suggesting local spots, or simply chatting about travel.

What an amazing hostel. Clean, well-run and super easy to book tours through. good value for money, and so easy to meet others. The staff are really friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is a nice touch and special thanks to one staff member, Ajay, a very kind person.

The hostel is located centrally but in a quite area. It has nice areas to socialize and the pool is just a wonderful place to relax in the Kathmandu heat after a long trek. The restaurant food is tasty and availabe for good prices. The manager Kish is extremly friendly and helpful, don't miss the free walking tour around Kathmandu.|I recommend this hostel 100%!

A PERFECT PLACE FOR YOUR BIG DAY. This was an awesome experience. Fantastic services by The Alobar Team and Mr. Ajaya for his efficient coordination and all time availability. Loved the services , the decor and the location. Thanks a lot to the hostel’s staffs. Highly recommended. I’m if you want to make your event memories to be your one of the best days .
