Aloes Lodge hosted our family for our reunion during the Christmas holiday. It is reasonably priced with affordable accommodation, good food and therapeutic surroundings of nature and Mountain View’s. They did all they could do make our group comfortable and attend to all our needs by providing us with conference rooms, decor and a diligent staff.

I visited Aloes Guest House Pitseng with my organization for a 6-day workshop. We loved that the rooms were modern with fridges, desks, and showers in every room. The television was a nice addition even though there were only about four working channels. Rooms also have an air conditioner that was really good at emitting heat during the nights and cool air in the afternoons. The food was excellent and there are several beautiful fish tanks that kids would especially love to watch. The WiFi was intermittent throughout our stay; only the dining hall, reception, and conference hall have signal - meaning that there is no WiFi in the rooms which was the biggest downside for us. The rooms also only had two outlets which was a bit difficult for when you wanted to turn multiple things on or change several devices. This would be a great place to stay in the warm months to make use of the pool and outdoor space!

Our group from Canada and the UK ranged from 5-18 people over the course of 2-3 weeks. We were a group doing some volunteer work at a nearby school. The staff at Aloes were amazing and very accommodating to our changing needs as people came and went from our group over the course of our stay. The dining room staff always checked with us to make sure of our numbers and Sylvester went out of his way to accommodate some non-meat eaters in the group. All the staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable after we worked long hours on our project. We also had a few fun nights in the bar!!|Aloes has a lot going on and seems to be a thriving business in the area. Thank you for your hospitality during our stay and we will definitely be returning.

We arrived without a booking but got a dorm room for ourselves. The AC in the room did not work which meant it was super cold. There was lots of stains on the walls as well as the roof. The toilets felt dirty as well. There was lots of other guests that were making noise all night and we did not get much sleep. We only stayed one night so it didn't end up being a big problem. The food however was well priced and tasty (we had pizza and chicken with mashed potatoes).

I stayed at Aloes in Pitseng in January this year and I must admit it was really lovely staying there; the views were amazing and the reception lady was friendly and helpful. I stayed in the dormitory style accommodation but had the entire room to myself. The room was very clean and so were the shower rooms and everywhere else. I found Aloes Guesthouse to be world class if not better than some Guest houses in the Western world. I highly recommend anyone to stay at Aloes, I found the place quite comfortable too. I will always stay at Aloes in the future when I visit Lesotho again.
