A Perfect Family Staycation at Aloft – The Best Hotel in Dublin! Our recent family stay at Aloft Dublin was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the luxury, the thoughtful design, and the warm, welcoming staff who truly made our stay unforgettable. Nestled in a lovely location just across from the city centre, Aloft offers the perfect balance of convenience and tranquility. We were able to explore Dublin easily during the day, and then return to a peaceful, cozy retreat each evening. Traveling with our baby girl, comfort was key—and Aloft delivered on every level. The rooms are classic Marriott luxury: quiet, elegant, and impeccably clean, with just the right touch of coziness to make you feel right at home. The staff were incredibly accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed for a smooth, relaxing stay with our little one. One of our favorite moments? Sipping a romantic drink on the terrace at sunset, taking in the breathtaking views of the Dublin skyline. It was pure magic and a memory we'll treasure forever. The food was another highlight—everything was fresh, local, and full of flavor. Whether it was breakfast, a quick bite, or a leisurely dinner, the quality and service were top-notch. We absolutely loved our staycation at Aloft and can’t wait to return—next time just the two of us, for another sunset drink on that dreamy terrace. Thank you, Aloft Dublin, for a truly beautiful experience!

This modern and well located property has comfortable rooms, a great rooftop bar and cool gastropub on the main floor. It’s a great value as well. Uber driver on way to airport grew up in the Liberties and brings his family to the 7th floor for weekend brunch - it’s that good!

The Aloft Hotel was an excellent choice for our stay in Dublin. Great location and accommodations. The concierge staff was especially helpful, as this was our first trip to Dublin from the states. I called the hotel before our trip to get recommendations for transportation options to other parts of Ireland as we were not renting a car. I was referred to Damian, at the Concierge Desk, who was most helpful in helping me navigate the IrishRail site, including which train stations to travel through based on destinations. When we arrived at the hotel, he remembered our conversation from a week earlier and helped us with logistics during our stay in Dublin - from points of interest within walking distance from Aloft, to which buses to take for areas of greater distance. Professional, friendly, helpful, Damian presented a warm and inviting welcome to our first Ireland experience!

This was our first stay in Ireland and we were so happy we picked the Aloft Dublin! We needed a room to sleep 3 adults and their "Urban Double Double" is actually two queen beds and very comfortable! The room was immaculate.|The staff were so welcoming and helpful! We did have a car and the valet service was excellent with in/out privileges. All we had to do was give them 15 minutes notice and our car was waiting for us.|It was a very quiet, safe area, and about a 15-20 minute walk to some of the attractions we were interested in.|Also, the rooftop bar has great drinks and is definitely worth a visit for the drinks and view.|We would definitely stay again!

Google
Pros: clean modern rooms, with comfy bed. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Cons: location. While there is a cafe nearby for coffee in the morning, most restaurants and pubs are a 15 minute walk, which gets tiring. We ended up taking lot of taxis. The showere has half a glass door, so water gets everywhere. They use a top sheet for a bottom sheet on the bed, which is cheap and bizarre. It's a clean hotel, and was fine for 2 nights. If you're planning to.hang in Dublin longer, you may want a more convenient location.

Stayed here for a few nights on my own and really enjoyed it. The rooms are surprisingly spacious, modern, very clean, and clearly well maintained. Staff were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The restaurant bar was also a plus — good food options, nice drinks, and you can even order straight to your room. Only small downsides: the location isn’t the most central, but still within walking distance to most places. And breakfast felt overpriced at €25, especially given the limited selection and not enough tables at busy times. Overall, a great experience — I’ll definitely be back on my next trip to Dublin.

We had a very pleasant stay at Aloft Dublin City. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed with a modern aesthetic. The front desk staff were consistently kind, professional, and helpful, which made our experience even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was the rooftop lounge—a stylish and comfortable space offering fantastic views of the city. We would gladly choose to stay here again in the future.

Hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Room was too warm for me - need to be able to keep the fan on or open windows. (This was a trend in Ireland overall!)||Also - the shower half wall is not a great design - floor ends up wet.||7th floor bar was fine - great view. Breakfast had a nice variety.

Yelp
A very new, modern Aloft in the Liberties area of Dublin. We had two different rooms during two brief stays at this Aloft in Dublin. Arrival experience: Arrived by cab. The porter and luggage storage is on the ground floor. Check-in is on the 7th floor. Average check-in experience. Acknoweldged Marriott status. Room 618: Not a huge room but efficient layout and overall nice. King bed, TV, Nespresso coffee maker and all the normal items for a room. Small but well-lit bathroom with a single sink vanity. Room 114: The only suite in the Aloft. Nice size with sitting area with large desk, king bed, and plenty of space. Nespresso coffee maker and all the normal items for a room. Bathroom was a very odd configuration with insufficient lighting in the shower. Also the toilet flushing mechanism broke twice during our two nights in this suite (poor design). One word of caution about room 114- it's just above street level and traffic noise comes through the windows with ease. Staff: overall nice staff Restaurant: On 7th floor, breakfast only dining. Decent breakfast was included with our room based on Marriott status. There's also a full service restaurant attached to the hotel. Bar: There's a bar on the 7th floor. Didn't try it. Value: hotels in Dublin are not inexpensive. On a global scale, it's more expensive than average, but for Dublin the Aloft was the best value we could locate. Misc: (1) Good proximity to all the major tourist attractions in Dublin. Easy walk to the Chester Beatty Museum, St. Patrick's Cathedral, etc. (2) About a 35 minute drive from the airport. (3) Very close to two distilleries- Teeling and Dublin Liberties Distillery.

Yelp
The Aloft is located in the Liberties part of Dublin. It is an area that is being refreshed in my opinion. It is located near two distilleries: Dubliner and Teeling. Dubliner is literally across the street. Teeling is up the street and around the corner. Spar is a local convenience store and that is close by too. We walked all over Dubliner from this hotel. Checkin is the 7th floor. Reservation 1: I booked the Urban Aloft Suite Arrival: We booked this hotel twice. We had a stop in Dublin and then had to go to another hotel in the country and we were returning before leaving Ireland. Our flights were delayed and then canceled, we were able to cancel our reservation for the Aloft, but Aloft said sorry, we have to charge you. Which sucked but we get it. Our flight arrived to Dublin at 11am and we coordinated with the hotel to come since we paid for the room to freshen up. They gave us the room until 2pm. We got showered and jumped into a taxi to our next destination. We were thankful to get the room for 2 hours to shower, but 2 hours at the price of 300 Euros was not the best deal. We are Marriott Lifetime Platinum members so I think that is why they allowed us the room for 4 hours. Room: On the 6th floor with a nice view of a rooftop garden. The room had a nice king size bed which did not use. We jumped into the shower and go freshed up and had some coffee with the lovely Nespresso machine in the room. NOTE: It was not until we returned for the 2nd reservation that I realized the room we were given for 2 hours was not the Urban Aloft Suite. Reservation 2: I booked the Urban Aloft Suite Arrival: we arrived by taxi and the employees that were there on our 2 hour hotel visit were working again. They remembered us and welcomed us back. the tall black gentlemen on the first floor is super sweet and friendly and I forgot his name. He is the only employee that stands out at this hotel. The Urban Aloft Suite is the only one at the hotel so we arrived and were told we had to wait. It would be about 10 minutes and we asked if we could leave our luggage on the 7th floor desk area so that we could run down to the Dubliner distillery across the street. They said no problem. We went to the distillery and it was no more than 15 minutes and we were back, went to the 7th floor to get our room key and were told our luggage was sent to the lobby. We had just come from there! We could have grabbed our luggage. Room: What a nice big room but it is located on the first room. There is no staircase to get 1 flight of stairs, so you have to take the elevator. I finally found the stairs, but the door is Emergency exit and alarm will sound, so we had to walk back up and use the elevator. The room has a lovely sitting area with nice big couch. Nice desk area. Lots of windows, but everyone can see into your room from the street. There is no privacy during the day, so you have two sets of blinds, one for privacy and one for bright early morning sun rising. The King size bed is not very comfortable, but it is big. Plus being on the 1st floor there is so much road noise and sleep quality is not the best. I prefer the smaller suite on the 6th floor because I think that would be better sleep quality. There is a nice Nespresso coffee machine. There is a fridge but you cannot use it. It will charge you if you pick up an item. There is an inroom safe, read the instructions because it does come locked and you have to read the instructions to use it. Bathroom: Nice long walkway to the toilet and shower, but it is very dark. The shower is super dark, but it is nice and spacious. The toilet has its own room, but twice the toilet flushing unit fell into the wall and we had to get maintenance to come and fix it. The sink is nice, but shallow so you end up spraying water everywhere and the lighting is very bad so hard to apply makeup. I recommend if you need light to go into the bedroom and open the blinds. Each room comes with a bucket for ice, but there is no ice to be found anywhere in the building. I called and you have to go to the bar on the 7th floor and wait in line with everyone ordering drinks. Customer Service: needs improvement. There is a lack of communication to customers. You have to ask alot of questions from the 7th floor about the hotel to get information. When we called about our safe, they were not the friendliest and told us.. you did not read the instructions. The instructions were there, but you cannot read when there is bad lighting in the room and the font is so tiny. Breakfast: we are Marriott Lifetime Platinum so we opted for the free breakfast instead of points. The coffee is good. There was hot Irish breakfast. The presentation is very cute. The hot items weren't very hot. The fruit was not very good mostly canned fruit. The pastries were under baked. The Irish yogurt was delicious and my treat.

Yelp
Fantastic hotel near city center. Aloft hotels sure have a different layout, concierge on bottom floor, but reception somewhere else. Very comfortable rooms, nice style and all necessary amenities.fabulous view over the distillery. Breakfast was incredible as well. Superior service throughout our stay.

Yelp
We had an incredible 4-night stay at this hotel. As others have stated, the check-in desk is on the 7th floor, which is unique. There was always a person at the hotel concierge desk on the ground floor to point new guests in the right direction. Once you arrive on the 7th floor, the spectacular view makes it clear why they chose to have check in, breakfast area, and the bar on that floor. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was cozy but had all we needed. My only minor complaints would be lacking light in the room and our original room (before immediately asking for the other side of building) had windows that were directly facing and a mere few feet away from student housing windows. It was incredibly awkward and a tad claustrophobic. We were immediately and patiently given another room across the hall. Not sure what some of the reviews are talking about with the "off the beaten path" location. We found the location to be central and walkable to many tourist attractions (Dublin Castle, Christ Church, Teeling Distillery, Vicar Street for shows, etc) and is super close to public transit, which is cheap and easily accessible. A few tips: -Always have your room key handy, as you need to tap it on the elevator scanner to get to any floors other than 1 or 7. -The ground floor pub has won local awards -Ice needs to be requested at the check-in desk -Do not remove/move items in the mini-bar fridge (even if not consuming them), as it triggers a charge on your bill -Spar corner store is a short walk down the road and you can easily/cheaply buy public transit passes at the counter. -Request a room facing the city, not student housing.

Yelp
This hotel is a new favorite. Sleek and modern, but also exuding a comfortable warmth. I also enjoyed the music selection. The staff is exceptionally friendly, efficient and helpful. A huge "thumbs up" to the breakfast room staff, who coordinate expert service, delicious food and the traffic flow for seating with incredible ease. The front desk and bar staff are also especially worthy of commendation. The room features comfortable bedding and a large bathroom. My only suggestions would be for better storage. The closet is very limited as is shelf space, which makes it difficult if you are on a long trip with a good amount of luggage. The TV reception would freeze at times too. Other than that, Aloft Dublin City is one of the best hotel choices in my opinion.

Yelp
Great spot Damian and Amadou were extremely helpful and welcoming They gave excellent recommendations like Devitts for drinks and grub It's a good location for a walk about and very close to St. Patrick's and other local pubs Glad we listened to the recommendation to stay here

Yelp
Nice clean modern hotel in the city. The staff could not have been nicer. Room was clean and well appointed. Wi-Fi worked well. We dined and had drinks here. Prices were good for a Hotel.

Yelp
Compared to other hotels in the City Center, Dublin Aloft is a great choice if you're willing to walk a bit away from the action. Pro: - The most affordable choice for Bonvoy seekers - 7th floor is beautiful, with an outdoor deck, 360 views of the city (though Dublin doesn't really have a skyline) - Wonderful bartenders and general staff - Clean, modern rooms - Attached hotel restaurant downstairs is awesome Cons: - It is a 20 minute walk from Grafton Street and all the action. - Some less than ideal views of construction. If you get a south side, you get a view directly into student housing. - East side views of an empty parking lot with trash The views and location aren't something this hotel can really control, so it is unfair to discount Aloft too much. Other notes: - I've spent about 2 months in Dublin this year, and stayed in hotels the entire time. - Aloft and AC are my go to Marriott Brands. This Aloft ranks very high compared to the other locations.
google avatar

Kristen M.

Yelp
Maybe you should let patrons know at check-in to expect construction noise on their floor starting at the crack of dawn. Better yet, don't put flight crews who are checking in at midnight in rooms right next to construction. Extremely frustrating to be dealing with jet lag and get woken up by the sounds of drills and hammers an hour after you finally fall asleep.

Yelp
We recently stayed here and enjoyed our stay. Located a short walk from the city centre of Dublin this is a modern hotel with bright colors, modern rooms and good service. The room was nice and had a fabulous bed. Nice towels and bathrobes were provided and the shower was also nice. The room had a small mini bar and supplies up make coffee and tea. Unfortunately they were inconsistent with replenishing supplies and we ended up with no milk and bottled water. Continental breakfast here is nice but the cooked Irish breakfast was chewy and tough as it had been precooked and sitting under heat lamps for too long. Why they cannot cook to order us beyond me. Staff are very friendly and overall we enjoyed our stay here. Would come back again.
google avatar

Kevin S.

Yelp
Not a great experience here, delayed room check in, luggage took forever to be bought up. Very expensive drinks €28 for vodka and tonic. Our room overlooked a dump, there are way better hotel options in the city. No satisfaction or compensation for my complaint even though I'm a Bonvoy member (manager wouldn't even give me a few points to placate me), meh.

Yelp
So nice we stayed twice, Arrived in Dublin, checked in for a day before our drive around Ireland, came back a week later and stayed again. On the ground floor you are greeted by the customer service/concierge team, they are all fantastic especially Amadou, they know the area, get to know you and call for cabs, watch your bags, valet you car and much more, they are the beating heart of this hotel and it shows in their dedication to the guests. Check in is on the 7th floor, where you will also find the bar restaurant, a buffet breakfast is available each morning and using the term buffet very loosely because although you pick your own food most plates are prepared in advance and you pick the one or more that you want, and while they are small plates they are packed full of food. Buffet is €15 and while it will not rival a full Vegas buffet it was the best buffet we had our two weeks in Ireland. Well worth the money if you are hungry, Valet parking is offsite €25 per night and one of the Guys downstairs has to run down the block 5 minutes away to get it for you, show them a little love, contrary to rumors people in Ireland will gladly accept a gratuity. Desk staff on the 7th floor is friendly and efficient, Room was very nice, clean and comfortable, housekeeping cleans the room every day, they work on the rooms they need for the night first and if they are busy it may be later in the afternoon before hey get to rooms that are staying more than one night. Price is very reasonable, within walking distance of many vital attractions, St Patrick Cathedral and Christchurch Cathedral are within 5 and 10 minutes walk of the hotel, restaurants and shopping about the same. Close to the Teeling Whiskey Factory and there is restaurant/pub connected though the lobby. Stay here and you will be happy!

Yelp
Hotel is clean and comfortable; however, do not get a room on the side located across from the University Student apartments. We had room 508 which looked directly into the student rooms. We could see them and I suspect they could see us. For that reason, we had to keep our blinds closed when we were in the room - - they don't seem to care. The hotel is also off the beaten path, which meant a 20+ minute walk to get to most anywhere, or a taxi at night.
google avatar

Joe M.

Yelp
Great hotel and nice location. It was walking distance to a distillery and downtown. I walked every day to everywhere i was going. Room was nice and so was the staff. I had the breakfast and also stopped by the bar for a couple drinks
google avatar

Michael M.

Yelp
We stayed there for 5 nights. Good location, relatively new, clean, fabulous employees and the price is right. Rooftop bar and patio, and a pub/restaurant at ground level.
google avatar

Christine M.

Yelp
The staff couldn't be friendlier or more accommodating. We encountered a couple of issues that could have been attributed to "weary traveler syndrome" and only had the most helpful, and above expectations frankly, individuals step in and help us. The facility itself is clean, modern and well appointed. Very much enjoyed our stay and will stay again if and when we are lucky enough to visit Dublin again.

Yelp
I think the previous reviews that were less than 4 Stars were definitely a bit harsh. This should be a solid 4.5-4.75. There are always a few bugs to be worked out when a business is new. I believe they have sorted the majority of them. We're traveling so I can't speak to the parking but I can speak to the hotel proper. It is a tad confusing when you arrive. When you walk into the entrance you must take the elevator to the top floor (7) for the reception. Not sure why this is, but after the initial confusion (there are no easily visible signs explaining) but once you 'arrive' the folks are helpful, friendly and efficient considering how many of us bombarded them at the same time after disembarking from our cruise. We had an upgraded room so it may speak to the size difference in the room reviews but if that's an option for you and your American or not used to the smaller spaces, DO IT! Loads of space in the bedroom - see photos. Large spacious showers complete with all toiletries that are not only eco friendly but also smell and feel fabulous on your skin. The reception and adjacent bar and breakfast are really nice and there is a €2 discount if you book for breakfast ahead of time. If not it is a whopping €15 for a continental, not a full Irish. Anyway, lovely new, fresh hotel and you should book with no qualms.

Jessica R.

Yelp
I booked a room with TWO queen beds. When we arrived, the only room available was a room with ONE queen bed. I had called the evening before arrival because I knew we would arrive very late, after a transatlantic flight. The reservation representative acknowledged this late arrival note was in our reservation and she did not know why our room was not held for us. The available room, in addition to having only one bed, also had a bathroom door that would not close. In addition, the shower had a chair in it, preventing showering while standing and the sink was extraordinarily small. In the late morning, a room with the two queen beds was made available to us. This room was clean, HOWEVER, this bathroom door also doesn't close. See the video: https://photos.app.goo.gl/VgoqwZdHfX1BZAmQ6 We had to shove a towel in to the door to keep it closed. Since the room provided to us on our first night was insufficient and defective, I requested a discount for this first night. This was denied. The manager never contacted me.

Yelp
The reason for the downgrade - the parking situation - I'll get to that later, before I'll state all the pros! The room was really nice and clean! I liked the modern feel! It was weird to have your window facing a college dorm room and they didn't care if they were hooking up with their windows open! The food was REALLY good! We ate twice at the restaurant and everything we ate was really good. The breakfast bar was nice in the AM - but they need a better setup for their host - I felt bad that she was having to hunt people down to make sure they paid! The Deputy GM in the morning was so helpful and kind - I can't remember his name - but he helped us print out bus tickets, thank you! Both security guards that were there during our stay were so kind! The hotel isn't by a ton to do, but really close to a bus stop. Ok the parking ... 35 euro a night for a lot that is a 15 minute walk away, come on. When we looked online it said there was a parking garage off site - didn't realize it'd be so far off site and be paying that much for a public garage! Made for a very early morning for my husband when he had to go get the car before our 7am ferry departure!

Yelp
Aloft Our stay at the Aloft hotel in Dublin was nothing short of fantastic. Everyone was attentive to our needs. We were always greeted with a smile and thoughtfulness. We were treated as if we were family. Our infant came down with fever and everyone was helpful and sympathetic; continuing to ask how the little one was doing. The bar was excellent and the service top notch. The room cleaning staff was attentive and did a great job every time cleaning the rooms. The pandemic temporarily changed hotels; yet, Aloft Dublin continued to value customer service aa everyone was great. There was miscommunication with room rates but that was quickly and consistently handled with professionalism. Charlie was a true professional at every turn with his colleagues Ian and Paul. Michael was helpful and offered assistance for our infant at various times. Ahmadou, Victoria and countless others Were great. I believe that I am writing all of this because everyone at Aloft Dublin had humanity. It was nice to experience humanity on our vacation! Thank you! - John & Audrey (Platinum Elite)

Yelp
Very nice hotel for the price range. The staff is extremely service oriented and the hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the city. The rooms are kept nice and our spacious Hotels kept very clean.

Yelp
I am a big fan of Alofts in general since it's a great place to stay when you're traveling for business also being a longtime SPG and now Mariott Bonvoy member. This Aloft was recently opened and although I read that it is a little bit away from the Dublin center I decided to take a chance. Also the fact that I paid for 2 nights on points didn't hurt either. I found the hotel to be pretty nice and typical of all of the Alofts I have stayed at. The checkin desk is on the top floor which is a little strange though. The bar area is pretty nice and seemed to be always packed (when in Dublin). The room was the same layout as a typical Aloft - modern, efficient, and a lot of self-serve. They do have a breakfast buffet which I thought was pretty good although a tad pricey. Really although this hotel is not directly in the city center it is only about a 10 minute walk away. On a nice day it's actually a pretty pleasant walk as you get to see a lot of sights along the way like St. Patricks, and Christchurch cathedral. We were also able to walk to our Guinness tour at St. James gate pretty easily. The Teeling Whisky distillery is also right next door in case you are interested in a tasting. When going out at night we just took a very short uber/cab which was pretty inexpensive. Overall, I would definitely recommend this Aloft location as it is pretty much consistent with other locations I have stayed with before.

Yelp
Outstanding stay outside city center Awesome staff. Cleaan rooms and priced right. Alex has great suggestions every day and booked us front seats on tour. WHEN we return we will stay right there. Good bar, Nicee breakfast buffet too
google avatar

Lindsey O.

Yelp
The hotel was nice and well priced. The room was nice and very quiet and dark even though the sunset super late. The breakfast looked good, and the service was prompt and friendly. Lighting was a bit dark in the room. Only point of feedback is parking is over 10 minutes away walking, very inconvenient for suitcases. They have no shuttle or anything to take you there which would be my suggestion if parking is to be so far away.
google avatar

John T.

Yelp
I've never experienced this: the power goes out in your room based on motion. So when you go to sleep, all your phone/iPad chargers go dead, the AC/heat goes dead, unless you get up and move. Then there was the morning! Stand in the shower for 30 seconds and the lights go out. Stand in front of the mirror to prep...the lights go out. You have to run out of the bathroom and wave you arms to make the lights go back on. Wtf. I can't believe this place even stays open.

Yelp
This hotel was very nice, clean, great view from the bar and staff was super attentive and helpful during our stay. Not only was our stay there very pleasant, but we had such a great experience after we left. I had the misfortune of leaving a blanket my boyfriend gave me before our Europe trip, and it with me during the entire trip until I forgot the blanket at Aloft. My now fiancé, called the hotel to see if they could help us get the blanket back since it had a big sentimental value and he was told there was nothing they could do to help us. That was until he aaa able to speak to ALEKSANDRA MISIAK and she was extremely helpful and not only that but she mailed the blanket all the way to Houston, Texas for us. We are very thankful and happy and so grateful for her help. She went above and beyond for us and extremely grateful Thank you!!

Yelp
We had a great experience with the hotel! Everything was clean and worked great. The room was spacious and had lots of power outlets, shelves, etc. We could see St. Patrick's Cathedral from the floor to ceiling window in the room. When we did need help the staff was great in assisting and super friendly. The hotel is in a more residential area of Dublin but that was kind of nice too, to see the less touristy area. Dublin is a very walkable city so we just strolled to St. Stephens Green and over to the Temple Bar area. Got to see some lovely sights on the way!

Bob B.

Yelp
Aloft is a fun atmosphere that's geared more toward younger travelers (not a complaint just letting you know that). Room is very, very small. I had to stack the chair in the corner so I had a place to put our suitcase. Yes, there was no room to place a single suitcase. The view was not a good one at all. They do not have proper curtains in the room. It's more draw down blinds that are white. The sun comes blasting through to give you a warm, unwelcome wake up call at 5:00am. There is a desk. However, the 40" TV is sitting on it. So, if you need to do any work or set anything down, you're using the floor. No parking for those with cars. The hotel bar had some amazing food. This is a reason it was given more stars than I would have originally given it. The Bahn Mi had so much flavor. Buffalo wings were a different take (Asian fusion) and they were very good. Mac n cheese and chicken Caesar salad were also good. The spicy chicken soup was very bland. But the rest of the food covered up for the soup. The hotel staff is very young. They seem lost in the clouds and not very eager to help. Again, if it weren't for the food, and good selection of drinks, this would be lower.

Yelp
Nice, clean, comfortable rooms. The lobby is on the top/7th floor by the bar. Has great views for a drink and watch the sunset on a nice day.

Yelp
Loved this hotel!! Very clean, good location. Has an awesome bar area with a good view at the top. Reasonable prices, comfortable beds, part of Marriott Bonvoy! Right next to Teeling Distillery

Yelp
To start, the concierge staff is awesome, friendly and efficient. This does not reflect on them. 1. Unfriendly staff at the front desk, bar and at breakfast. 2. The upstairs restroom was always out of toilet paper 3. AC in the room did not work, bathroom door would not stay shut. 4. Carpet on the 5th floor was buckled creating a trip hazard 5. Guest laundry was not working at a new hotel. 6. Breakfast was not good, selection minimal, not what you expect from a Marriott. Would never stay there again

Yelp
Mixed. This hotel is way off the main road. We had a hard time finding it, as the direction we were given by the bus driver was to just walk up from Christchurch Cathedral. The hotel sign was not visible from the main road. The residential streets that we had to walk through were usually littered with dog 'waste' and garbage, especially at the end of the day. When I made my booking, it was clear that there would be 3 of us. However, we were only given 2 sets of towels, and this would happen every time they would clean the room. On two occasions, I had to leave notes to housekeeping to give us water and lotion, and even had to tape the note by the bathroom mirror as there were days when they would miss my notes. There was not enough hooks to hang our towels, which always ended up getting changed every day. And I do not understand why they would only give 2 breakfast vouchers per room, when I booked for 3 people. Some good points: they upgraded us to a bigger room, which had ample space. The front desk staff was nice. And we always had a good time unwinding and making new friends at the WXYZ bar at the end of our days during our stay.

Yelp
This is a fairly new hotel, as it just opened up this month so it's definitely got a more modern feel of a hotel..We stayed here for 2 nights. The rooms are a tad small but were enough (however bedding was very rough! Probably the roughest I've ever had in any hotel). Their room service menu and the menu upstairs for food, are the same. There isn't much variety at all HOWEVER, they did get many points for having 2 vegan menu items, which were REALLY good. The staff is very kind overall and did their best to make sure we were best accommodated. When we first got there, with tons of luggage, we had to take it all up without a bellhop. So that part was a bit off, and I feel like they should perhaps invest in having a bellhop to help with luggage. Other than that, not a bad hotel. It was in a quiet part of town too, so that's always nice when you want a change.

Yelp
I found the hotel online as we wanted to use Marriott points. It was a new hotel so nicely furnished. clean, and great views from the reception/bar area on the 7th floor. Not huge, but was to be expected from a European hotel. Was right across the street from Teeling Whiskey Distillery if you wanted to visit and about a 15 minute walk to Guinness Storehouse. The reception and bar staff were very friendly and accommodating. However, was a bit of the walk to all of the more lively areas of town if you are into the nightlife. The big downside....the parking. There is no onsite parking and only hourly rate on street side and very limited. We rented a car for our days outside of Dublin so needed overnight parking for 2 nights. The girl at reception told us to park at Q Park and gave us a map and to come back to the hotel with the ticket for validation for a discounted rate. While the lot was approximately 1/2 mile away, was not easy to navigate driving on those roads. Then the inconvenience of having to walk the morning of check out to get the car. But the worst part was when the parking attendant said they are not affiliated with Aloft and charged us the full nightly rate. When we mentioned it to the reception at check out, the girl just laughed.
