We stayed for 6 nights and really enjoyed our time here! The location is central to so many things to do, eat & shopping! The decor and cleanliness were great and the vibe was perfect. Pool in the lobby, fireplace, a bar and the cutest picture backdrop spot! The best part of our stay was the manager Bryan and Zach, they were amazing! So friendly, helpful & just all around great, kind people! Customer service is so important now a days and many places lack it, they were above & beyond and just genuinely nice humans which was so refreshing! Would stay there again & recommend to anyone visiting the area!

It’s a nice place and people are kind, but they nickle and dime you on food and breakfast. Most hotels like this offer free continental breakfast—but not the Aloft. This one chargers $1 for a banana and other food. Kind of annoying. They also have no coffee out in the afternoon or in the evening.

Google
My experience was not good. First off, if you come for business and your employer booked your room, you have to contact your employer to have them email them saying they can use the card on file. Even though they have already checked you in. Another thing is they charge for breakfast. They also have a third party patrolling the parking lot to make sure that you have paid for parking. It's $10 a day plus some taxs and fees. I paid this when I checked in. When I checked out, I had a ticket on my windshield saying I needed to pay. When I took it to the front desk, they told me that I needed to pay. I showed them the receipt and then told me their manager would be here later this afternoon. Would not recommend staying here because there are way better options in the area. That do not charge for parking and do not charge for breakfast.

Google
Great location-close to shops, restaurants, banks, and fun. Lobby smells good and looks retro. The room is mostly clean with only a few areas that needed attention-possible mold on shower ceiling, in grout of shower, and the sink makes a glib glib sound after turning off the water as though it’s clogged. Had a kid pound on my door at 10:30pm and ran off to the elevator. Gotta pay for parking and breakfast. Hotel host was very sweet and helpful.

Google
Everyone we encountered was pleasant and professional, not that we would have had the time but really wish the pool was working, I would have tried very hard to make the time. Breakfast was definitely a little different it felt like a confused cafeteria and nobody knew where the lunch lady was. But the rooms were clean, pillows were fluffy and warm water from a shower with good pressure so I mean… life could be worse when away from home.

Google
The hotel is trendy and seemed clean. We were told at check in the bar would open at 5 pm until 11 pm. We came back from dinner at 8:30pm. Noticed the bar was closed. We asked the girl who checked us in if it was open. She said no, not tonight. No, sorry for the inconvenience or anything. The room was small and you could hear the interstate noise, especially at 4 am -6 am. You do have the pay $10 for parking but we were told it is the city of Franklin who requires this fee. We wouldn’t stay here in the future.

Google
First time staying at an Aloft. The hotel was very nice and clean. Lobby was spacious and had a small bar, pool table and games. We were there on a Friday and they had a singer in the lobby which was a nice touch. The staff was very friendly and very accommodating. The rooms were clean and comfortable, beds/pillows were great. Free coffee in the morning and breakfast available for purchase. Didn't try that, didn't look like anything special. Pet friendly as well, saw lots of dogs. You do have to pay extra for parking which was kind of annoying. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and would recommend. Thanks Marriott, will try Aloft again.

Dan

Google
Positive: Nice room- close to the highway- very clean. Negative: That you have to pay for breakfast and the options were not that good. Is it too hard to grill up some bacon and scrambled eggs?

Yelp
I love staying at Aloft Hotels because they are clean, modern, comfortable and allow Fudge! This time around due to the crazy weather we had and losing power I made a staycation out of this stay and thankfully Aloft was available and reasonable. As usual it was great - the front desk employees were some of the nicest people I've ever met! Smiles, accommodating and loved fudge (I mean everyone does!). My room was clean and super comfortable. Always a great nights rest, ample work space. Bathroom was great. They didn't have Bliss toiletries but did have a brand called Pharmacy which was really nice so it worked. As usual the lobby was cozy and inviting and there was fresh coffee 24/7. It gets only 4 stars because oddly enough in a city with so much greenery offered this place didn't have much and way too many "keep off the grass" signs.

Ashley A.

Yelp
The hotel was nice and conveniently located near restaurants and shopping, but my check-in experience was unpleasant. I was given a key to what I thought was my room, only to walk in on two strangers--it was already occupied. Thankfully, they were understanding, but it was an uncomfortable situation for everyone. The staff later realized they had given me the wrong key due to a mix-up with last names, they failed to confirm my first name at the time of check in. They apologized with food and beverage coupons, but this mistake made me feel unsafe and hesitant to stay at Aloft again.

Yelp
I've been struggling to resolve a double charge for over a month with no success. I booked this hotel through Costco travel and paid in advance. Upon arrival, it was required they swipe my card for any extra room charges. Two weeks after the trip, I randomly got charged a second time for my nights. I was told at checkout there was no balance. They failed to email a receipt. I tried over 20 times to call Aloft with no success. Finally I reach someone who tells me they have no manager there and no authority to reverse the charge (but confirmed it was double charged). Recommends I have my credit card company reverse it. I attempted that but was denied since I actually stayed at the hotel. Called corporate only to be told that they have no authority to reverse charges and they refer me back to Aloft Hotel. We loved our stay otherwise and had previously decided we'd stay there multiple times a year to only be disappointed at the worst customer service ever. It had crossed my mind maybe they are going out of business? I have invested many many hours into getting this resolved with no success. I will continue..

Yelp
Nice location, comfortable bed, nice tv. Cons: could not get a good night's sleep. Constantly woken up by noise, the alarm went off at 6am (previous guest left it on), then vacuum and cleaning noises around 9am. You also have to pay for parking by the day.

Stacy P.

Yelp
As of 10/2023, they were in the process of renovations Highlights: +/- Conveniently located off I-65 off of an exit with a nice selection of restaurants, though you will need to use your car as nothing is really within walking distance +/- It is your typical Aloft offering, so expect the noise level coming from other rooms/traffic/etc be hell of annoying + Price is pretty fair, especially for other hotels in the area + Front desk was friendly during checkout/ checkin + They did have a safe gluten free option for purchase. Yeah for a single Udi's GF bagel, but just don't use the toaster as it is shared + Wifi was decent and allowed for use on VPN (though really wasn't transferring a ton of data back and forth) +/- Shower was on the taller side, so yeah for no ducking at 6'. Though they have the standard wall mounted shampoo/body soap/conditioner -/+ Bed is ok for a few days, but longer stretches of a week+ might be a bit of pain

Rod M.

Yelp
Aloft was one of six places I stayed over the period of my recent nine-day road trip. I was surprised that you have to pay $10 a night for parking along with the other guests I met that night at the hotel bar who told me they weren't going to pay. I got my worst nights sleep here of about 4.5 hours with a long drive ahead that morning. The walls are super thin and you will hear traffic from I-65 all night. If you are lucky as I was, the neighbor in the room next door will blast the radio the hotel provides at 6:45am. If you are modest and traveling with someone, privacy is an issue. There is a frosted window between the shower and the main area and the sliding door which is super heavy leaves a huge gap allowing others to look right into the bathroom. The room seemed fairly clean until I found someone's old sock left in the wardrobe. I found that after I started my shower, there was no body wash. The shampoo bottle was indeed full as I found out when it fell off the wall onto my foot while my eyes were closed.

Brandon G.

Yelp
Very clean, modern, and comfortable place to stay. Live music each night we were there. Close to many great restaurants and shopping locations. I'd stay here again for sure.

Scott S.

Yelp
Reserved a room over a month ago. Got an e-mail that said that my reservation was cancelled due to due to unforeseen circumstances. after calling the hotel I learned it was cancelled because they were oversold. while there is no proof, I'm sure my reservation was cancelled due to the lower rate that was being charged. Have consistently used Marriott properties for 20+ years but will never use this one again.

Teresa F.

Yelp
The lobby and outdoor area has an upbeat, fun vibe that encourages socializing there. Food options pretty limited. Nice gym and indoor pool. Beds are so comfortable for us- consistent across this brand. Room very clean and fresh. Location very convenient to Nashville downtown as well as great nearby shopping and restaurants. Lost a star for bland coffee and highway noise at night.

Megan C.

Yelp
I like this hotel but they need to work on sound-proofing. We were put in a room next to babies and they woke up screaming periodically all night. I'm a Mom so of course I woke up in a panic because it felt like they were in our room! The telephones in the rooms didn't work so we had to use our cell phones to call down when we needed something. They had cool Marshall speakers that we wanted to use but couldn't get to work at first / I called front desk and they didn't know either - turns out you just have to hold down the Bluetooth button for a bit - felt like front desk could have told us this? Also, TVs are not smart TVs so we couldn't watch our own shows. Otherwise, room was clean and comfortable. Water pressure in shower wasn't good (6th floor) but that seems to be the trend now everywhere.

Timothy L.

Yelp
We're back. Same great service and atmosphere. Close to the mall for a quick bite.. typical food court with a Chick-fil-A

Anne S.

Yelp
Stopped in to stay for the night for some rest as a break in our road trip. We are Marriott members and had our dog with us and Aloft is one of the only Marriott options that don't have an extra $100 pet fee. The lobby was clean and Barrett was super nice checking us in. They set up a dog bed for our pup and gave a bag of treats, frisbee, paw wipes and potty bags which is greatly appreciated. All in all it is a good place to crash for the night and would stop in again if passing they

Debra L.

Yelp
Great accommodations. I wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. It is a bit noisy if you are on the side where the highway is. Other than that it is quiet. Bed is comfortable, sheets clean, bathroom clean. I used their conference room for an interview and was happy to have a place to do so. Parking was easy and they have an overhang where you can unload luggage. All they need now is a charger for an ev.

Kori A.

Yelp
This hotel is super cute and edgy. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The hotel has live music and a Cool vibe in the bar/lobby. Rooms are newly renovated. Stayed here for a Girls trip to Nashville and it was perfectly located and a great stay. Will be back!

Lesley F.

Yelp
We stayed at the Aloft Franklin while doing some hiking in the area. We had our two dogs with us. The hotel staff were very welcoming to us and our dogs. Loved the hotel. They did a great job with their COVID protocols. The hotel is in a great area and convenient to lots of "local" restaurants and convenient to historic downtown Franklin. I'd definitely stay here again if in the area.

Stephanie P.

Yelp
Great hotel, clean and fun! This was a great place for just my husband and myself for a quick getaway. This hotel is very dog friendly, so be mindful if you aren't a dog fan. We loved seeing cute well-behaved dogs as we checked in and out. The bartender was very kind when we had a drink before dinner. They have accommodated breakfast and coffee well for Covid protocol. The only thing I would improve is the coffee. We had to set it out for 15 minutes just to drink. I've never had coffee so hot! Autumn and Barrett were both very nice and helpful at the front desk.

Randi B.

Yelp
Very basic amenities to start. Live music and large crowd downstairs at night. First reaction to room was a heavy musty scent - smelled like a room of wet towels. Could see mold/water damage in ceiling. Room was hot and humid, AC worked well but didn't cover the moldy musty scent. Could tell floors were cleaned with dirty mop water. Wore shoes in the room bc the floor felt dirty. Headboard had strange scratches on it. Someone clearly pissed outside the front entrance right next to front door, noticed it around 8am in the morning on a weekday. Would not recommend staying here, worth extra money to stay elsewhere. Bed was decently comfortable aside from everything else.

Janet C.

Yelp
Aloft is our favorite hotel brand - clean, sleek design, hotel bar that consistently serve good drinks (unlike many other hotel bars), pool table, and pets stay FREE (weight restriction applies.) This location made the furry guests feel welcome with a goodie bag of treats, water bowl, toy, and sate baggies. Make sure to go out front to walk your pups, much of the grass is off limits. All the same amenities as other Aloft we have stayed at. The road noise was a bit more than we have experienced in other locations but not horrible.

Madelaine R.

Yelp
Really wanted to give this place 5 stars but we had a barking dog across the hall from 4am till the time of checkout at around 11:30-12 non stop. Rooms are clean and staff was kind but when we went to checkout and let the front desk know the lady just said "feel free the have some free snacks." Just wasn't the way I expected that to go for paying for 3 nights.

Elizabeth M.

Yelp
Super sweet hosts! Nice area for dogs to potty with bags and trash can. Lovely welcome gifts for dogs too. Same set up as the other few Alofts I've been to which is very modern and simple which I appreciate on a simple overnight stay. Nice bar and outdoor seating areas. Highly recommend. Oh, and of course their nice Bliss products for the bathroom and shower is always a bonus.

Lola D.

Yelp
Pros: close to everything in Franklin, about a 20/30 mins drive to downtown Nashville. Clean rooms! Autumn was THE BEST customer service I've had in awhile. She was so helpful and polite, made my stay awesome. Comfy beds and pillows Cons: don't stay in a room facing the D1 gym because they blast their music and it woke me up at 7am everyday I was here. You hear the bass REALLY loud and it's just not pleasant. Honestly the only crappy thing about my stay. I'll definitely stay here again, just on the opposite side of the gym

Rachel L.

Yelp
Pros: - Pet friendly - Super comfy bed and pillows - Free WiFi - In walking distance to the Galleria - big flat screens - indoor pool - Nice lobby with pool table Cons: - Rooms a tad small - Doors are heavy as heck, our bathroom door didn't close all the way - no shuttle service - weird set up, our bed was next to the bathroom with just a thin wall in between, you can hear it being used - no breakfast included - not much space in the parking lot, had to park by the gym. - bathroom sliding door had broken mirror pieces, was so scared that I might step on it. - loud AC unit

Ed U.

Yelp
Alas, was the Aloft Aflub? My response to such a charge depends on what aspect of our stay you are asking about. Nashville appeared fully booked on the Thursday and Friday that Jamie W. and I needed a room last month. We found out why we finally made it there: The NRA was holding their annual convention, so all the hotel rooms for miles around were occupied by its gun-loving members who were wearing their NRA lanyards all over town I spent an entire evening on the web until I finally landed on the Aloft which was offering a decent rate ($194 per night) for all its hip style. The first drawback was that the hotel is about a half-hour south of downtown if there's no traffic. The second was something less tangible, the erratic service which veered wildly between attentive at the front desk to indifferent over the phone. The hotel is located right off Hwy 65 which is one of the main arteries into Nashville. We arrived after midnight from North Carolina, so it was a bit of chore trying to find at that hour since it's in the middle of a small business park. Checking in was not a problem, and our room had a king-size bed. The contemporary decor was what I expected with West Elm-style, faux-retro Asian touches throughout. The bed was comfortable enough (photo:http://bit.ly/1AMalQo), but the shower had a particularly inconvenient door that slid on its track with an audible thud. We didn't take advantage of either their indoor pool or the w xyz bar where all the elite hipsters meet up presumably. Where they went astray was when we cited problems, chief among them was that our safe was closed and locked when we checked in. Before leaving in the morning, we asked the front desk to come by and open it so we could store some video equipment we didn't want to lug around. He promised to send someone right away, but an hour elapsed and no one came. After we came back that evening, the safe was still locked. When we checked out and pointed out this oversight, we were met with a shrug and no apology. What's so Aloft about that? More like Acrap if you ask me.

Yelp
OK the hotel itself gets 4 stars WITH THE UNDERSTANDING that my experience really teetered on the 3.5/4 star fence. This was due to location of my room however. I'll get to this later. We stayed here this past weekend for a wedding in downtown Nashville. This hotel was about 20 mins away and was in a nice area surrounded by tons of eateries and shopping. The hotel is modern and chic from the time you enter the lobby with sleek furniture and lots of grays and metallic features with pops of color. The room was nice, small...but enough space for our overnight stay. It had the same modern feel with low sitting bedding and furniture. Clean white linens again with pops of color. (Sorry I didn't get pics as I crashed time my foot hit the door). I did get a pic of the bathroom however, which housed a fridge under the sink, and was across from quite possibly the small closet I've ever seen. OK so my room was 319, right next to the elevator. So my biggest gripe was hearing the elevator run alllllllll night. Ugh! I'm not talking about the ding of the bell as you reach the floor...I mean the legit motion of gears and other mechanical operations. Now when I'm tired, I can sleep through anything. But that...yikes. Had I stayed an additional night I would have requested a room change. Also, hearing people as if they were inside of my room (which makes sense considering how compact the rooms are) was not fun either. All in all I like the hotel, it's young, urban, and chic but the rooms are small. If staying more than 2 nights I'd personally probably stay elsewhere. That's just me though. Also, if you are staying with someone you don't feel as comfortable with you may want to consider other options as someone mentioned (and you could probably guess) privacy is a luxury not included in these rooms.

Charity F.

Yelp
Traveling all day After sitting in a car for 6+ hours we just wanted somewhere to rest our heads. We are Marriott members so we always try to look for a Marriott property. We thought we'd give it a whirl. So glad we did. Lobby was clean, Barrett was cheerful and happy when we checked in. Refreshing after sitting in the car, all day. Got to our room. Clean. Minimalistic but had everything and more. The exercise facility was immaculate. Bottom line-we were here for a night and we'd swing by again if going through the Nashville area again.

A C.

Yelp
This hotel has the worst customer service! Our room literally smelled like something died in it. When we complained they took no responsibility. Do not stay here unless you enjoy the smell of raw sewage!

Gwynlin D.

Yelp
This hotel is so much more than I expected! I am mobility challenged and getting from car to room is not as stressful as I had worried. They have wonderful service, really comfy beds, great walk in shower, and an amazing walk in pool! We will be staying here again!

Lauren S.

Yelp
Best hotel stay ever! We came back again the next week. Only improvement would be the tvs in the room. Otherwise, amazing service. Daniel is the man!

Philip N.

Yelp
I have stayed here a couple times for work meetings. The first time I stayed here (I have never stayed at an aloft hotel) it seems more like a trendy type of hotel, like one you would stay at for leisure as opposed for a little business meeting. Rooms seemed a little small but everything inside was nice. Have a nice little cafe type thing in lobby we're you can get snacks and drinks and breakfast in the morning. Parking lot seems small just like everything else. Not a lot of things to do near by and is about twenty minutes depending on traffic from downtown. There is a decent place to eat within walking distance called Jonathan's. Like I said earlier I would stay here for a leisure/pleasure trip with friends. A little to small and trendy for families.

Darci N.

Yelp
Clean, quiet area. Lovely employees. Beds are fabulous and a very unique room design. Plus they accept pets-no charge!

Kelley D.

Yelp
PROS: Blackout shades were very effective. Our room was very quiet. I don't know if we were just far away from other people or if the walls effectively block out sounds from the hallway and other rooms. Bartender was nice and drinks were strong, but small. CONS: Room temperature was not regulate-able. When they came up to bring us more blankets, they had a look at the thermostat and said that it should be working-- No resolution. Shower was either ice cold or almost boiling hot. Wallpaper was peeling, countertop was dirty, TV screen was smeary and fingerprinted, inside of bathroom door had dripping yellow dirt, furniture was falling apart cosmetically (chipping/peeling). Headboards were made of peeling cork-print vinyl. Pool was very cold.

Kelsey K.

Yelp
There's no "continental" breakfast everything you have to pay for. Did not feel too welcomed and the rooms are very small and look cheap. The crowd staying here also did not look very nice.

Corey L.

Yelp
I've been to some other Aloft hotels that were extremely nice. This one looks great from the outside. Honestly on the inside it looks like they took an old rundown hotel, threw some paint slap over the old peeling paint (because you can see how bad the old paint was through it), put carpet down that was not cut to fit the room properly and called it a newly renovated, nice hotel. Lobby: Downstairs area seems clean and nice. They do have a nice gym so props there. There's an indoor pool which I did not use, I could smell the chlorine from outside the pool room (just an FYI if anyone is sensitive to chlorine). There's a bar and a "breakfast area" that's a la carte. I didn't eat anything from the hotel so I can't speak to the food. There's also a very small patio area outside with uncomfortable plastic furniture and some lounge chair/beds to use for sunning. Staff: Not impressed. They were bordering on average at best. The manager would come out to the patio in the evening where myself and a co-worker would work in the evening to get fresh air and chain smoke about 10ft from us which I thought was completely unprofessional. Needless to say that was the cue to move to the rooms. The other staff was not very attentive and you felt like you were bothering them even to ask for a copy of your bill when checking out....its mostly business people here during the week, we need receipts for our expenses! Rooms: On first walking into my room the key magnet reader piece fell on the ground which honestly I just thought was hysterical. The peephole on my door didn't have the piece that keeps people from seeing in through the outside but someone was nice enough to stuff some toilet paper in there to keep wandering eyes out. The AC units are old and you can only set to freezing or sauna temperature. The cleaning staff did a pretty good job. It is conveniently located near plenty of good restaurants! All in all I don't see myself returning here on a future trip.

Tyler N.

Yelp
I am a Bonvoy member and typically stay in the Curio selection of hotels. This trip Aloft fit the quick in and out. I found it clean and the personnel nice. Our room sink was terribly slow draining and asked it to be taken care of while at dinner. No change when we returned. Not the end of the world but I expect good service and honest effort.

Patricia E.

Yelp
WORST customer experience EVER!!!! I cannot even begin to explain the derogatory nature that we were addressed with!! We checked in after traveling all day from Southern California. We got our room and then went to dinner. After returning to our room and heading into the bathroom to take a shower I was affronted with a stench of sewage!! I knew we had not used the bathroom and wondered why would the bathroom smell this foul?! We asked for a new room. We waited 30+ minutes and were then directed to our new room...only to discover it was one floor down right below the SAME EXCACT room!!! How will this be any different?! We called the front desk again and said, you just moved us one floor directly below the same room, how will this be any different? Isn't it in the same sewer line? The front desk person, Marjorie, said I don't know. She said what do you want me to do?! She said I told you which room number it was, you should have known. ???!! Really,! I'm sorry, I was not provided a map of your property when we checked in. How would I be expected to know your property layout. I'm expecting you to know what our issue is and do your best to resolve it. We then were passed to Tristan who was equally condescending. We asked if there was a manager on duty. He said the manager will not be on property all weekend. He then said, at 11:30pm after we've been traveling all day, that we can walk the property with him to find a room we like. I'm sorry, I'm not walking your property after a full day of travel to find a room that doesn't smell like sewage with you. You should know which room to move us to to best solve the issue. I'm pretty sure that we're not the first people to report this issue on this side of the property. It's a sewer issue that needs to be dealt with. It shouldn't be pushed off on us and make us feel like it's our fault for being upset that it's almost midnight after a full dat of travel and we want to be able to peacefully relax in a nice, clean smelling room! The thing with the sewer happens. The issue we had the issue with is how the two front desk attendants handled it!! Not ok at all!! I will do whatever I can to direct people away from this property. My husband has stayed at Alofts in many different cities for work. We will NEVER stay at an Aloft property again!!

Wynter F.

Yelp
My parents and I stayed here on Christmas Eve and I thought it was cute, modern and clean. We picked this hotel because they allow dogs to stay free and it is much nicer than the La Quintas I usually stay at. My dad checked in so I can't say how that part of the stay was but we had a nice room. The only downside was that it was right by the hallway door and it was a little noisy during the night. I am not sure if people kept walking in and out of the door but my mom said she didn't get a lot of sleep. The lobby was cute and colorful. The bar was a little weird because I had to walk right by it with my dog on the way to our room. I would have thought that they would put the bar somewhere else so that dogs aren't walking right by it all the time. I liked that they put makeup remover pads in the bathroom. That was really helpful for me. I also liked the modern sink they had in the bathroom. Overall, I thought it was a good hotel and I would stay here again for the right price.

Yelp
I'm giving a 5 star even though we didn't get to stay because of an error with hotels.com at this hotel. Our request for 2 beds was changed to a king. This was unacceptable because we have 3 adults. The hotel clerk, Barrett Anderson, was exceedingly kind and respectful that our room had been changed. He explained the issues, but went the extra mile to contact Expedia and took care of confirming the cancellation with Aloft and had Expedia call us with the new booking. He assured us there would be no surprise expense and gave us a cancellation confirmation. We were not left standing there to figure it out!! Way to go Barrett with phenomenal 5 Star real kind and thorough Customer Service. Expedia called while we were standing there and graciously changed our hotel at no extra cost. We are now in a super nice hotel with 2 beds for the night!! Thank you Barrett Anderson!!!!!

Logan B.

Yelp
I was really surprised by the trendiness of this hotel when I arrived. Very modern in just about every way. The room was cozy, yet spacious. Breakfast was a la carte ( I prefer continental, but you can't have everything). It was a good choice for the few days I was in Nashville. The only reason I gave it four stars is because the sheets in my room were never changed, despite a very obvious stain on the fitted sheet. I really would have liked to have had that changed, but perhaps it's something I should have mentioned to them. Would recommend this hotel to anyone doing business in the Franklin/Brentwood area.

Yelp
The aloft in Cool Springs/Franklin really impressed me! If you haven't heard of the aloft brand, its like W meets hilton garden inn... They are starting to pop up in a few markets in the US... mostly around airports and in suburbia, though there are a few downtown locations. Anyway - there has been quite a bit of press and excitement around the brand so naturally I was excited to find one of the properties was opening near one of my clients. I stayed for 2 weeks in October of 08, the property was brand new and they actually held the grand opening party while I was there. The staff was really engaged - they actually seemed excited to have guests in the building! The rooms are very unique... Basically you walk in and you're facing the closet, the bathroom is to your left or right, the bed is in the middle of the room opposite the closet, facing a large plasma TV. There is an input box on the desk if you want to connect your laptop to the TV. I don't typically travel with an HDMI cable but the front desk came to my rescue! The rooms are rather small, with just the essentials amenity wise. It was fine for me but a family with children would probably find a 2 bedroom room to be very cramped. The bar, wxyz, is alot of fun. Nice collection of "W-like" drinks and some great outdoor seating. The staff was just as edgy, but much more personable than what you find at most Ws. James in particular is always good for a game of pool if the bar isn't too busy. The "re:fuel" items in the lobby really aren't that great... especially the breakfast sandwiches. I'd say it is worth the 5 minute drive to the starbucks on carothers. Nonetheless, I had an awesome time, and if I'm ever in suburban Nashville again, I will most certainly stay at the aloft in Franklin. I had previously stayed at the Marriott in Cool Springs (about 4 blocks away) and I certainly prefer the aloft - the fact that it is about $100/night cheaper and has free wifi is an added bonus!!

Yelp
The hotel is nice. I wish it had some of the items that the Dallas location had. Staff was friendly. Love the smell. All of them smell the same! Great location. Right down the street from the Cool Springs Galleria. Close to several restaurants as well. Kroger is right down the street.

Yelp
This is a much better Aloft than the one in Nashville. There's a pool and it's just brighter and nicer. But boy, is it busy! And because it's pet friendly, full of dogs. Our room was clean and comfortable and overlooked a courtyard. We had hoped to sit in the courtyard and maybe have a drink but it's ruined by trashy smokers. I don't know why smoking is allowed in the only private, outdoor area on the property but it's really disappointing. There's a bar and games in the lobby and also a pool and some green areas for dogs. Of course, this being an Aloft, they nickel and dime you on waters and bananas or any breakfast items but otherwise, it's pretty well situated, clean and moderately quiet (walls are thin and you can hear traffic on the road, too).

Yelp
Excellent service! Had car issues and they provided late checkout. Very clean and well appointed hotel.

Yelp
Edited to add: While this was my (unfortunate) experience, the general manager was SO gracious and kind in helping to address the issue, and I truly believe that if it's up to him, this won't be a "repeat offense." Don't go if you want rest/quiet! I'm a new (single) mom to a 6 month old, and my ONE birthday gift I wanted was to go to a hotel to sit in silence and be able to sleep in. I was woken up around 9AM to the housekeepers laughing/shouting/chatting down the hall to each other (YES, I had my "Do not disturb" placard right on my door!!!). I tried to put on my meditation, and the sound of that couldn't even drown them out. Just, SO loud. I'm not one to complain- and I totally understand wanting to have fun with co-workers at work-- but the one reason I paid to go to the hotel was negated. So disappointing!! Don't go if you want a quiet and peaceful stay.

Yelp
Great place to stay for business! It was VERY CLEAN, has a perfect work area, flatscreen tv, updated bathroom & spa shower, the decor is modern, and the staff was above & beyond outstanding. Some issues have to do with personal preferences, but other things should probably be addressed. Most importantly, there was an unsecured electrical outlet hanging out of the wall in the bathroom vanity area which is DANGEROUS. And at some point while l was at the office, a circuit got tripped and there was no power in my room when l got back. They got it back on quickly and addressed the outlet- but the guy told me that he'd have to open the wall to fully fix it, but it was safe to use for now (with the guts still partially exposed?!) Less important nits: #1- Morning breakfast comes with a price. Here, only coffee is free. And they were out of fruit. #2- There's nowhere for hungry travelers to eat in the hotel. There's a nice little bar in the lobby, and a somewhat stocked food area downstairs-- But its mostly granola bars & single-serve oatmeal/cereal. Nothing of substance (Sidenote: they pointed me to Jonathans Restaurant, which is right behind the hotel, has great food, and delivers right to your room) #3- The mattresses are very, very firm... Borderline hard. So if that works for you, great! But l wasnt a fan. Overall, my nits are small (except the electric), which is why l'd definitely go back and why l gave it 4 stars.

Yelp
Dog friendly. Really like this hotel. Room was so quiet. Parking lot was full so I know people were there but I never heard a door shut, never heard people in the hall, etc. Our room and hall area were very clean. I took my dog out for early morning walk and felt really safe. Price was right too. We will be staying here again! Barrett checked us in and he was so nice. Your dog also gets a nice welcome bag.

Yelp
I have stayed here before and like the vibe of the lounge...however the beds are so uncomfortable! The fitted sheet is too big and won't stay on the mattress which in turn pulls up the mattress "pad" and causes creases and lumps you sleep on...(picture attached). The bed itself is uncomfortable and my back hurts from sleeping on it. I won't be back as I travel and need a comfortable bed to sleep on and the Aloft does not have that.

Yelp
This was my first time at a aloft and I loved it. I stag at a lot of Marriotts and I was not sure what to expect here. Great location for where my meeting were. Very quiet and not to big but very clean and great staff. I will be back for sure.

Yelp
My wife and i have stayed here multiple times. we've also brought our younger children and we've always had exceptional and friendly service with every staff member! The rooms are minimalistic designed, are always clean and have great showers! They fixed the sunlight coming through the shade issue! (Nice fix!!) The courtyard is an awesome place to hang and located between the bar/lounge area and the indoor heated pool area. They have a better than average workout room, free pool table and nice bar/lounge area too. They don't have any full breakfast options but there are a ton of options ALL AROUND the hotel. Another cool feature *each room has a box that allows you to plug in outside entertainment (laptop, Xbox, etc) and put on the rooms tv! Highly recommend if ur in the area on business, traveling with family or want a fun night away. Thanks aLoft!!! Yelp
Just an overnight stay but second visit to this hotel. As usual cool staff, clean and comfortable. Will be back!
