Great price, and in NOLA isn't always a good thing. Staff was great, hotel generally clean, rooms were the price you pay. Nice size will say that lots of space but the AC never turned off but never got old stayed about 75 the entire time. Most of the fixtures needed some type of repair, functional though. Didn't say there was a pool at our booking so that was a nice surprise. Overall would stay again

Very modern hotel. Stayed 3 nights July 2025.|All staff were welcoming & friendly.|We had a city view room on 17th (top) floor. Lovely room, clean, complementary quality toiletries, really good air con. Great furnishings, lovely large bed, great hairdryer, complementary safe, complementary bottled water (one per day). |You have to use yr room key to access the lift which gives a nice level of security. |Extremely quiet once in room, never heard another guest. |Unfortunately didn't get chance to use the pool, but the area looked clean.|The one night we did decide to use the onsite restaurant they were only doing pizza, we opted to eat elsewhere, shame as the bar area did look really nice & welcoming.|Perfect location for Bourban Street. |If you book the Big Bus tour, the stop (no. 6) is just a 5 min walk round the corner. Walgreens on corner of block.|Highly recommend this hotel and if ever we find ourselves back in NOLO, this would be our 1st hotel choice.

For some reason they canceled both of our reservations. Took forever to check in. We unloaded the car, got some recommendations from the valet, went inside and my husband was still trying to check in. Not sure if the lady was new or what. The remote for the tv didn’t work. Got in on but couldn’t get it off or change channels. Finally, had to unplug it from the wall. Toilet paper holder was broken. The bar was nice, but the drinks not the best. Definitely one and done. Great location. The rooms were nice.

Price is right and staff is friendly, but the hotel itself was nothing to write home about. Cons first: Something was wrong with water heater in the building our first night, so freezing shower it was. The shower head pressure was so tough that it hurt, and our shower door had a gap so it flooded half the bathroom even with a towel on the ground. On our 3rd day our key reader died so we were locked out of our room. Took them an hour to fix, they did give us free drink vouchers for the bar to apologize which I did appreciate. The sink water was genuinely gross, something was definitely wrong with it. Had a crazy taste, to the point we almost ended up using the shower to brush our teeth. Pros: Affordable and great location. Staff were all friendly, I have no complaints about the people who work here. We only used the rooms to sleep as we were out and about most of the time so it worked for us. If you think you would be in the hotel room a bit longer than the 6-7 hours a night we were, I’d definitely say go ahead and find other hotels in the same location area/price point because they do exist.

Great stay at the Aloft Downtown New Orleans. Close to everything. We utilized public transportation but a lot was within walking distance. The rooms were clean. Staff was kind and despite a false emergency where we had to evacuate the building I’d definitely stay here again!

Google
The location is great and the staff were super friendly and accommodating. However, the room left a lot to be desired. The bathroom sink faucet sprayed water everywhere, the shower water never got hot and the pressure was horrible, and we found hair under the fitted sheet. One of the window shades was also broken, so we couldn't get any natural light. The staff were kind, but the room definitely needs better maintenance and cleanliness.

Google
I had a nice time here overall and appreciated the location, which is right outside of the French Quarter and close to a few of the tourist bus stops. Didn’t experience any of the horror stories mentioned in other reviews. My room was clean, the shower worked well, the A/C worked very well, the elevators did not have me waiting much if at all. It’s also obvious which elevators you need to take if you read the huge sign on the ones that are for the garage. Employees at the desk that I encountered were friendly. I received exactly what I expected my stay to be except for one thing. I do have to agree with others that the mattress is much too soft and barely has any support. On top of that, the pillows appear to be half filled, so your head sinks right to the mattress when you lay on one. After a frustrating time figuring out how to make things work, I settled on staying on the edge of the bed where it was slightly firmer, doubled up on pillows and put another under my knees. I’m not sure if all Aloft’s are like this, but it almost felt like they were using an air mattress that needed pumped back up a bit. Majority of people need medium firm set ups, so I do hope the brand reconsiders given the wellbeing issues here. I’m otherwise glad to have stayed!

Stayed here because Marriott Hotels have a good reputation. This was terrible. Came here for a fishing trip and the hotel alone put a damper on the trip. Super Dirty and sketchy. Put us in a very unsafe room with a broken door big enough hole to stick your hand under. Bed was dirty with stains on comforter and pillows. Also “fresh” towels were dirty with seems like mascara on it. Door handle on shower was GONE! Fridge was leaking and house keeping wouldn’t stop knocking at the door. Despite being a marriott member you have to pay $75 to check in early and check out late. Total scam wish I would’ve stuck with my first mind. Why even put someone in a room that is that terrible, especially when you have other decent vacant spaces ??? They laughed when I complained and switched the room with no questions, that didn’t make up for anything.

Yelp
The hotel is centrally located in a great area. It is walkable to pretty much everywhere in the City, the Quarter, and the Convention Center. There are plenty of parking lots in the area, and some amazing restaurants. The rooms are spacious (although no dressers/drawers except in closet). Fun common spaces, pool, gym, bar areas. Highly recommend.

Yelp
2.16.25 The hotel has nice amenities including a bar, lounge area with board games, pool table, two guest computers, and a small market all in the lobby. They also have a gym and an outdoor pool on the 11th floor. To access the elevator and room, you need to use a key card. When my hubby and I went to use our card to access our room it didn't work so we had to go to the lobby to get it activated. I didn't like the layout of our bathroom. The sink is out in the open and there is a sliding door that separates the toilet and shower. The sliding door was not easy to open and close. Also, I would've preferred that they had towel racks. All they had was one towel hook by the shower. I'm not sure where they expect guests to place their wet towels. Also, the placement of the closet rod was awkward to me. Instead of it going from left to right it was front to back. Also the hangers were heavy steel so it was loud if they bumped into each other. The mini fridge was underneath the sink which is obscure. Our friends didn't notice it initially either in their room. Same with the placement of the iron and ironing board which were behind a wall to the right of our bed around the corner from the nightstand. I never would've seen that, but my husband pointed it out. I am a germaphobe and generally inspect hotel beds before I get into them and I was not impressed. Our sheets had a big tear in it and I saw something which looked like a booger or debris. Lastly, on our side of where we stayed in the hotel, it was loud at times due to what I am guessing was trash collection trucks. Our friends who stayed on the other side of the hotel said their sides were quiet. On a positive note, all staff were very friendly, and the hotel was in an ideal location. I also liked the murals in the lobby and the decor of the hotel.

Yelp
A friend and I stayed for a week for Mardi Gras. There was ample *wasted* space in my room (king size bed). With only one stationary chair and a computer chair, there was really no where to sit and chat. There *was* space to put a small sofa or a few more chairs. Disappointed. The bathroom was less than desirable. The toilet was in with the shower which in itself isn't horrible, but the shower was glass so one could not do their business if the shower was occupied. Also, the shower head didn't move, not even side-to-side so water went on the floor when entering and exiting. The bed; awful. There was a visible horizonal line across the entire mattress that we sunk in to. Very uncomfortable, especially if you had back surgery 4 months ago. The coffee usually wasn't hot, nor was it anything to write home about. NOLA is a beautiful city, rich in culture. Overall I enjoyed the experience, not the hotel.

Yelp
Decided to take a trip to New Orleans since I had been there since COVID and I was kinda missing the city. Staff was super friendly and checkin was easy. The elevators were a little confusing but that's probably because I didn't follow directions that I was given. My room was very clean and well designed and really nice, think minimalist with a trendy feel. Had a great view of the rooftop pool across the street at another hotel. The bed was really comfy and the AC worked well. The only strange thing that happened was the drunk lady that knocked on my door on Sunday morning as my wakeup call, but its New Orleans so hey LOL. The location was perfect, away from the chaos of Bourbon and Canal streets but close enough to walk to everything; French Quarter, Jackson Square, Bourbon Street, the casino, the Riverwalk and restaurants etc. The Valet parking at the hotel was expensive but all New Orleans hotel parking is expensive, I used the UniPark garage which was a 2 minute walk to the rear of the hotel entrance, I highly recommend them to save yourself some money. I would probably stay here again as the hotel gave me everything that I needed for my little trip.

Yelp
My friends and I had a fabulous time at your hotel! We stayed for my bachelorette party. Loved the welcoming staff. I wish breakfast was included with our room. The pool was excellent! The beds were comfortable and the rooms were quiet. I loved that the tv had streaming service, we could chill and watch Netflix, or pump up the jams on the YouTube channel to get ready for the night. I just wish the down button worked on the 15th floor. The location was prefect for what we needed to be in the hub of everything And our rooms were well cleaned a credit to your excellent staff!

Yelp
This hotel is cool. I love that. They have a pool table in the lobby. The rooms are small but cozy. Also a microwave to use. In the lobby. The front desk clerks weren't as friendly but wasn't rude either. A few blocks from Canal street where all the good food is.

Yelp
Dog friendly hotel and super great location within French quarter ! Laurie working front desk area was very kind and attentive to our needs, and gave our puppy boy moose a treat which was so kind and gave us good recommendations for trolley rides and parks during the day ! Great price for location and amenities I am quite pleased :,) be warned there is a $150 deposit but it gets refunded after I believe a week. Thanks Laurie and kind lady that greeted us night before ! (Sorry I didn't get name)

Yelp
False advertising - Hotel list EV Charging as a complimentary service. After I arrived at the hotel this service is $50 a night only if you valet park. Again complimentary parking is included with your stay.... So paying $25.00 for parking does not justify your claim...

Nicky H.

Yelp
I won't stay here again because the emergency alarm goes off a lot - even in the middle of the night. I looked at the reviews and this has been an issue for over a year. I stayed 2 nights and it went off twice. Another person said it went off 3x since he's been here. We had to go down 17 flights of stairs The staff indicated this happens often. I recommend staying somewhere else

Yelp
I planned a bachelor party for my son in New Orleans. I reserved two rooms, my sons in a room with two Queens and one room for papa bear with a king size bed right down the hall. My king size room was so choice. I've stayed in this room at other Aloft hotels, it's the way they maximize the space for one person makes the room seem larger than it is. Somehow hotels are getting away from large drawer space? Not the Aloft, my room had a nice size closet and large drawers for my underwear, bathing suits and socks. Speaking of bathing suits, this is the reason why I knocked off a star. The pool? Was ICE cold!? There was a nice rooftop pool with lounge chairs to sun ones self. I figured, let me get in some laps and sun myself before hard charging on Bourbon street. No such luck. The hotel has a nice looking bar and a place to grab food but honestly we were too much on the go to sit in the hotel and kick back. The hotel is situated in a nice area that's close to everything. You can pick up a street car on canal, walk to a few great restaurants and of course easily stumble back from Bourbon street. I really enjoyed my stay at the Aloft hotel, can you heat the damn pool?

Yelp
Great place. Close to everything. Staff was nice. Only issue was they need to have 2 bartenders. When you order food no one is there to tend to people. Other than that great place.

Yelp
This hotel is just great. First, like most Aloft Hotels, the decor is trendy, laid back, and has a pool table and bar. Secondly, the receptionists are absolutely the best-shout out to Amitra and Shar. Lastly, the location cannot be beat. The Hotel is within walking distance to the French Quarter, coffeehouses, and restaurants. But, there is hardly any street noise. We would stay here in the future.

Yelp
We needed a Marriott Bonvoy hotel that was relatively light on the points redemption for 2 nights and the Aloft fit the bill. I needed to be in NOLA for work Monday, but we wanted to get some sightseeing done the weekend before. Pros: The Aloft is pretty centrally located, just 2 blocks from Canal Street and a 10 minute walk from the FQ. They were able to get me into a room at around 10am, which was much appreciated. The room was under the name of my husband, but he was able to get them to add me onto the booking via the Bonvoy app. Rooms are pretty big and spacious. Cons: We did have a room that smelled of cigarette smoke and they were unable to move us cause they were booked for the weekend. They offered to send someone up to spray it with some deodorizer, but to my knowledge no one ever came into the room. All in all, it was fine for a 2 night stay. It got the job done, but I would probably pick one of the other 300 Marriott Bonvoy properties in the area.

Yelp
Absolutely do not stay here. The fire alarm went off two nights out of our three night stay at 2:00AM. The rooms are not being kept up properly. We did not have clean sheets and blankets and the room smelled like sewage. The front desk staff was also unphased and dismissive when it came to issues surrounding the room. There are plenty other hotels, don't stay here.

Yelp
The place was clean and secured. Was able to enjoy the pool and the bar area. Aloft is one of the faves from the Marriott Hotel brands. I love the location, where its placed in regards to the French quarter. I was here with my girls, for a girls trip and this was a good hotel to be in. I always am loyal Marriott Bonvoy Member, so this was a given. I love any Aloft in any city. The staff seemed overwhelmed and understaff. Being that they are in very busy downtown, the vibe was not very friendly when we were received in the lobby. The friendly maintenance guy who took care of the pool was nice enough to let me know if I wanted to see the rooftop to take more nice pictures of the city, he'd help me do that. I appreciate the customer service of those who extended it. Alofts decor is modern and fun, the bar area had a seating area where boared games and such were available for the guests. I wouldn't be oppose to coming back.

Yelp
I stayed here on a business trip and would recommend going elsewhere. I don't think I personally will come back either. First there isn't an included breakfast which is kind of Inconvenient when you're here for work, there are no microwaves in the rooms, and the rooms are tiny so if you're staying more than one night it's just not the best layout. I also didn't like how they advertise the parking on the website but it's a lot more confused and not straightforward as they list online. The service wasn't very good everyone was just short and blunt and acted liked you should know how New Orleans is which is odd when you work in a hotel and people travel ? Finally, and most importantly I was in my room and someone walked in while I was in there. I went to the front desk and they tried to tell me it was the cleaning staff when it clearly wasn't. The man said oops i have the wrong room. They didn't even really have a solution for me and I had to be at my work conference . They ended up changing the keys and said they would reimburse for some of the stay, which guess what they didn't at all. They also said they would look into it and have a manger reach out which they also didn't do. As a female staying in a city alone it ruins the experience when you're out of the hotel worried about your belongings and have no idea how that happened in the first place. That left me not feeling safe the rest of my stay. I did like the gym it was very clean and there was a lot of equipment and mirrors .

Yelp
Had to stay an extra night due to flight being delayed. Needed a room for a good rate, as a lot of other hotels in the area had hiked the prices way up due to weekend and St. paddy's day! This place came up on HotelTonight, but I called and got an even better rate at $309.00 with tax and fees. Not bad, as other similar hotels we're charging $500-900 for one night. Room was clean and in order, had all the amenities and window opens enough for some fresh air. Nice pool area and bar. Room did remind me of a hospital it's a bit lacking in character department. Reminded me of a motel6/hospital room although much larger and nice big TV with streaming and lots of room for our suitcases and such was nice. All in all if your in a pinch this place ain't to bad for the price!
google avatar

Yelp
It looks like a cool spot! It's valet only ...but there is no designated area you can bring your car into and there is no one outside to guide you. You have to find street parking first and then go in and have them move your car Our room reeks of piss and they won't do anything about it??? The housekeeping staff has been very kind and I only have good things to say there. Management just said to spray febreze and won't put us in a different room
google avatar

Evan G.

Yelp
It's a very nice place, with parking valet, breakfast, a bar, games, and lots of couches and chairs and tables in the lobby. But they seem to have a history of a faulty and overly sensitive alarm system that has gone off 3 times in 4 hours. The first of which was at 5 something in the morning and the Hotel evacuated without an explanation. At least the next 2 times were after 9 am and immediately followed with info that the alarm had been investigated and should be ignored. I hope they figure out the issue soon.

Yelp
Got engaged at this hotel back in 2018 . My husband and I decided to revisit this property because it was in our budget but this was the absolute WORST mistake ever and will NOT EVER RETURN to this deceitful property again . Prepaid for 4 Nights to get the WORST EXPERIENCE . Day/Night One : Arrived to our room (Corner Room #1530) notice A-LOT wrong . 1) Faucet was loose on the sink . 2) VERY LOW water pressure in the shower 3) Night stand was tilted to the side 4) Room was way too cold , no matter how many times I adjusted the air it was still cold . 5) Not so many towels in the room . So I was trying to be nice and give these people the benefit of the doubt and not be so harsh . Day Two : Called to front desk to REQUEST for more towels and to tidy the room as my husband and I were walking around the area for about 3 hours to come back and NOTHING WAS DONE . I didn't say anything about that . Day Three : ITS MY HUSBANDS BIRTHDAY ! On his BIRTHDAY people . Our items GOT STOLEN OUT OF THE ROOM . So my husband & I leave our room at about 11ish to go out again from lunch and shopping . Put in a request through my Marriott Bonvoy app for again more towels and housekeeping to come tidy up the room since it didn't get done on previous day (Note: We weren't checking out . Check out date was Sunday NOT FRIDAY) . Okay y'all so mind you ALL of our belongings were still in the room . My husband BRAND NEW CROCS were in the closet cubby , Yeti cup on the night stand along apple chargers on the raggedy night stands . We never checked out just request for housekeeping services & clean towels . Soooooo as we arrived back to the property at about 3ish , was hoping to take a nap to see that housekeeping was just now getting to our room after being gone for those couple of hours , we were like well damn okay lets go chill at the bar downstairs until they get done . Sat at the bar for about 20 mins . Go back up to the room to see that my husband shoes and yeti cup WAS GONE . Immediately i went back down to front desk and inform them of this and told them what happen and we want our money back because we are leaving this piece of s*** since the room wasn't all that and housekeeping are straight thieves . As I'm down stairs Housekeeping supervisor I'm guessing comes to our room and speak with my husband and she seem to be in disbelief about her workers and shook her head . So the valet parking dude ends up bringing me my husband items back as I'm down stairs at the desk complaining and had the nerve to tell me that it was on the side of the bed and I'm looking at him like 'No it wasn't and you are full of shit along with housekeeping because they were not and if they were i wouldn't had came down here raising hell so miss me with that bull' he states we will get down to the bottom of it .. hmm . Get back to my room to tell my husband that we are leaving and noticed that both chargers were missing from the night stand . Called down to front desk to inform them of this and allegedly spoke with a supervisor to inform them and repeated the situation to get told some bs about housekeeping attendee was new and knew they dropped the ball with this one , pretty much making up excuses . Like yeah WHATEVER . Housekeeping supervisor came back to return charger items . My husband & I packed our items and went to another property that was more nicer and had better faucets , showers , accommodations , more towels , and all of the above because the Aloft on Baronne St isn't it . Don't even waste y'all time . Thank y'all for making my husband birthday trip a headache .

Yelp
The staff here were not friendly. We had to say hi to them before they greeted us & a couple of them didn't bother greeting us even after we greeted them. There were 2 out of 5-6 valet young men that responded to us, the others did not. The young ladies at the desk were not welcoming except one of them and she was not the one that Che led us in. The rooms were okay and the pool table was enjoyed by a couple of young ladies and little kids the majority of the time we were there. They had a really cool cafe/fastfood window that stated they were open longer hours than they really are. Honestly, on our stay we never seen it open. The menu they had hanging had some great options on it and we really wanted to take advantage of it, but never got to. The pool was outside our window on the rooftop & was being enjoyed by others. It looked inviting, but we didn't have time. We would stay here again if needed to, but I think I'd try somewhere else first to have a comparison.

Yelp
The Aloft never disappoints. I like the boutique feel of the Aloft, it's a different feel than your typical Marriott, I've stayed at the Aloft in different parts of the country and they've always been consistent. This Aloft was no exception. The staff here was terrific, they seemed to take pride in their work and were very accommodating to me and my family during my stay. Location is tough to beat, not quite in the center of it all (which was a plus for me), but walking distance to most happening spots in the French Quarters. Room was standard. My room was listed as having a view of the city, wasn't much of a view though. It was ok just wouldn't pay extra for it. Solid stay overall, they have a cool pool table in the lobby which I found to be a nice touch, along with a bar. Nightly rate was reasonable. No complaints here really, great stay.

Yelp
We recently stayed at the Aloft New Orleans Downtown...it was a mixed experience, but more positive than negative: Pros: - Excellent location just steps away from (but not within the madness of) the French Quarter - Price is very reasonable - Staff is friendly and helpful - There is a small outdoor pool - The lobby bar is cute - Public restrooms are very clean Cons: - We had a few major and minor maintenance issues, ranging from a broken shower (which they fixed), burnt out lights (which they fixed), broken blackout shades, a wonky TV, a missing closet door and random painter's tape left behind on some of the furniture All in all, the location really is what makes this hotel a good deal!

Yelp
Just like any other cookie cutter aloft except my room had a horrible musty smell and after five days all my clothes picked it up. The carpet had a lot of dirty spots and the sheets would all peel apart every night and have to be redone. Half the lights in my room didn't turn on, including the switches by my bed and I was stuck with a desk lamp with the switch that came off and I had to reattach it the first time I had to use it. The bar closes at 11:30pm so forget trying to have drinks with coworkers if you're all staying for a work function. The night before I left I asked the front desk if I could grab snacks for the airport when I headed out at 3am and was told it would be fine, only to show up at that time to all the lights off and the system being closed for the night. Then the woman had the AUDACITY to gaslight me and tell me it wasn't operable last night either when I had SPECIFICALLY asked.

Yelp
I really love the Aloft brand. Unfortunately my local Aloft isn't up to the same standard as the rest of them. Rooms are decent and clean. Bathroom could be bigger. Room has the bare minimums of what is expected in a hotel room. Staff is great and welcoming. Lobby is pretty small compared to other Alofts. They have all the usual amenities.....pool, gym, business center, lobby bar. Overall, not a bad choice if looking for an inexpensive and clean hotel room.

Yelp
Our stay here was actually really nice. The parking is $40 a night so we parked at the parking garage around the corner. It ended up being $40 for 48hrs so we saved some money. Not a whole lot but $40 is better than 80. The lobby and staff were really nice and helpful and the room was great we were on the 11th Floor which is the same floor with access to the gym and pool which we had a view of from our room. Like others said the AC did seem to work when it wanted and how it wanted but I get cold fast so it didn't bother me, my husband wasn't a fan though. Other than that the place was fine its just a 5-8 minute walk to Bourbon street a 5 minute walk to Canal Street. I would definitely stay here again.

Jasmin S.

Yelp
First and last time staying here. Rooms were filthy and old. Reached out to front desk to be moved, they explained that there was nothing that could be done besides being put on a list for room to be cleaned. Mind you, why would I need to schedule a room cleaning, and just checked in. Never again. The lobby will trick you into thinking you're staying somewhere nice, but it's trash.

Yelp
The shower was moldy, they woke us up at 3 am for a building emergency, never even told us what happened or when we can go back upstairs. We finally made it back to our room one hour later.. for $139 a night , we got what we paid for.. valet parking was $50!! We waited about 20 min to get our car when we checked out Sunday! I would encourage to pay the extra $60 and stay at a cleaner hotel with friendlier front desk staff!!

Yelp
Got the chance to stay here on a random Wednesday. The lobby area is really nice and modern. Staff was friendly. The room was small but nicely decorated and equipped with what we needed. I dont like the fact that were no windows...felt a bit stiffling. Loved the sliding door to the bathroom. Bed was comfortable and room was pretty clean. Lots of channel variety on the tv..important for a tv junkie like myself. Quiet on the floor which was nice. Street parking was easy to find..probably bc it was the middle of the week. Would def stay here again.

Yelp
Booked my reservations three weeks in advance, this hotel cancelled it two days before arrival. Their excuse? The rate I booked it for was too low and they could no longer honor it. WHO DOES THAT? I called the Marriott corporate office to report this property going against policy. The agent totally agreed with me that they should honor the rate that was available when I originally booked my room, but advised me that there wasn't more she could do on her end other than to write them up. SHAME ON YOU ALOFT!! And shame on the front office manager Pernella Harney and your staff for BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES!! You people should be ashamed of yourselves. I've been treated better at McDonalds, they have way better customer service than you people. Glad I found another hotel. You couldn't pay me to stay at your property!! Not with that kind of service. I'm reporting you to the better business bureau. Might I add, I am a Titanium Marriott Bonvoy Member and this is the first time in over a decade a hotel has ever cancelled my reservations because they didn't want to honor the rate I booked it for. HORRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES

Yelp
So you just want to love this hotel.. First, the location is amazing. You're 5 minutes from the French quarter. So you're close enough to walk there but far enough away to smell it. Second, the staff is super friendly. The front desk ladies were wonderful to work with. But this hotel good things stops there. The rooms themselves are just very dated and dirty. The carpets are a mess and the bathrooms are just covered in mildew/mold. The tv in our room didn't work without a fair amount of jimmying. No wonder they leave it on when you get there, the remote doesn't turn it on. Have to play with the tv menu, with the little button under the TV set. These all need to be replaced immediately. Next, there is no room cleaning. Which honestly I'm ok with if they told us this. Not the end of the world. Lastly, the attention to detail with the staff that makes up the rooms were terrible. One bed was made fine with a blanket, etc. The other bed was made, but it was made with a bed pad (under the sheets) as a blanket and it was terrible.

Yelp
The hotel room was subpar at best. The room was not very clean, the maid service is every 2-3 days, the bathroom dispensers were never filled the entire 8 days we were there and we had to keep requesting hand towels in our room. The worst was when we killed a baby roach in the bathroom. The air conditioning unit was extremely loud and blew directly on the bed which caused us to wake up every morning with a stuffy nose. I am disappointed that this hotel is associated with Bonvoy, which is known to be a very reputable hotel chain. I will never stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone.

Yelp
Stayed here during the week of Mardi Gras, so rooms were close to $400 a night! However, this is/was considered cheap compared to the $500/night average going price of accommodations. I guess I lucked out getting a room with a window because some rooms don't. The room itself was basic, but the king bed was really comfortable and I absolutely loved the black-out curtains! The bathroom comes equipped with Bliss products, but really just the bare minimum (shampoo/conditioner, soap, and lotion). The mini-fridge is empty and there really isn't a closet. Nonetheless, they do leave an iron & ironing table behind the bed for wrinkled clothes you can't hang. The pool and gym looked small, yet adequate, though I never got a chance to enjoy these facilities. I liked the artwork displayed throughout this place and thought the pink pool table in the lobby was a nice touch! The service was nearly nonexistent. Our room wasn't cleaned our 2nd day there (we only stayed 2 nights), and we did not leave a Do Not Disturb sign. We did see people working there; we just had minimal interaction with them besides check-in. Great location! The Central Business District (CBD) is very close to the French Quarter, modern and more affordable in terms of accommodations. I probably wouldn't stay here again though.

Yelp
The staff are all very friendly. The service was excellent. This was my first time in New Orleans and this place is located in the middle for all sorts of entertainment. Thank you to all the staff.

Yelp
This hotel and the staff made our first time experience in NOLA great . On our arrival day , which was around 10am , we were Just planning to drop our luggages and walk around till the 4pm check in , but to our surprise the room was available and with zero fees we were checked in 6 hours earlier .. The staff was very friendly and made the process very easy . So we got To our room , and it's a big room , very clean. We chilled at the lobby numerous times and i can just sit there for hours if I have to, it's cozy , they got a nice bar with a happy hour deals with good drinks and the place smells great ! And the most important thing , it's pretty much walking distance to the spots , especially the French Quarter . I would highly recommend this place to my family and friends .

Yelp
No issues with cleanliness except for air quality!! Our room FILLED with the smell of marijuana in the evening and stayed throughout the night. Probably from the neighboring room. Not sure if this hotel is meant to be smoke free, but if yes, they need to do better with enforcement. If no, they need to ensure it doesn't travel between rooms, especially because this can aggravate respiratory amd neurological conditions! I got a migraine and felt nauseous the whole night. Luckily, the friends we were traveling with who had a baby were in a room where you couldn't smell it. Certainly unacceptable. Noise also travels extremely well between rooms and from the hallway. Woke up in the middle of the night to party goers coming back around 3am. You couls hear full conversations and even sniffling and burping. From our neighbors we could also hear conversations very clearly. Street noise is also not at all filtered through the building. We could hear the whooshing of cars and voices even though we were 15 floors up. Breakfast was fine, not worth the cost of the upgrade. Bed and pillows were comfortable, sheets were rough but rooms are decent size for two. The soap dish is incredibly frustrating because it's a box so you can't slide the soap off once used and it's stuck to the dish and can't be lifted. I dug into the bar with my fingers and still couldn't lift it. Odd frustration and completely avoidable.

Yelp
Love this hotel! Shocked at the negative reviews. Very friendly staff, great location, and nice clean rooms! Will stay here again for sure.

Yelp
Don't recommend. And I'm a Marriott gold member. Not enough staff. Long waits for everything. Feels like a dorm complete with mucho weed. Nice for when you're 25. Rooms are nice however but when they smell like weed and you're not a fan ... nah. Staff is totally overwhelmed. To be fair, it's pre gaming for parades but it seems like you'd be prepared. This is a big operation. Needs some oversight.

Yelp
The customer service here is great, but the rooms were sub par. When I got to my first room it was hot and had a heavy smell of smoke. The AC was not working, the lights were blown & the tables & carpets looked like they were not wiped down or vacuumed. I called downstairs & someone came up to fix the AC. He told me that he was in the same room earlier that day and I would have to change rooms because it wasn't going to work. The next room was better, but that entire wing smelled like smoke. (I wasn't aware if this was a smoking hotel). The lights in the shower are basically non existent and I was just uncomfortable the rest of my time because I felt like this room probably wasn't cleaned either. I only stayed one night so it was okay, but I would not stay there again. There are other Marriotts nearby for similar prices that are significantly better.

Yelp
Hipster hotel conveniently located in the CBD on Baronne, within walking distance of the French Quarter and lots of restaurants and tourist attractions. Owned my Marriott, I was able to use points to stay here. The rooms are comfortably appointed. Our corner room was huge and had great views of the city. Found the hotel staff to be friendly. The bar staff not as much. Can't vote on food as the restaurant was never open while we were there. There is a charge for breakfast. A banana and bottle of water will cost you $5. The rooftop pool is teeny tiny. 3 feet all around. And little sun as it's surrounded by tall buildings.

Yelp
Clean and nice with a decidedly minimalist vibe-we really liked the clean lines and modern decor. The rooms are spacious, bright and very clean-and have in room coffee makers. We also liked the bar in the lobby- the perfect place to gather with friends while getting ready to go out for the evening. The employees are friendly and they added to our positive experience here!!

Yelp
This hotel is cute. Very trendy and in a nice area.. close to things, we walked everywhere and didn't have to use Uber at all. The room was a nice size, the bathroom was also a nice size. Very clean and modern.

Yelp
This was a comfortable hotel close to the French Quarter. The contemporary style was very clean and the lack of dressers (who uses them anyway?..) was a nice touch as it made the room feel spacious. "Spacious" is no exaggeration. There was PLENTY of room to move about in and flex about. I would say there was a solid 50% more space than a typical hotel room...and this spot had two queen size beds. The beds were comfortable and the sheets were clean and well dressed to the bed. Windows lined one side of the hotel and so there was plenty of daylight and a great view of the street below. The bathroom was also spacious and had a walk in shower with dispensers for both shampoo/conditioner and body wash. There was also an expansive mirror that took up the well as well as a smaller one to the side -- both were from the counter to the ceiling. On the counter were various toiletry items - body lotion and some others items I did not really look at. The spacious counter was a welcome design choice that proves handy for spreading out all of your crap that accompanies you on a trip. This is the most underappreciated design choice in a bathroom. The lobby was very comfortable. I am partial to hotels that have bars and plenty of comfortable seating. This had both. Off to the side was a very long bar area that offered lots of bar seating. To the other side is a self-service area with multiple refrigerators stocked with various drinks that you can take to the main counter for purchase. It's a clean design but its also a nuisance with the time it takes to get rung out versus a vending machine. Drinks all seem to be $3. Overall, this is a very comfortable location that is worth a visit if you need a hotel.

Yelp
Love this hotel it's utilitarian, user friendly more purposeful in terms of modern day services to the traveler whether for business or pleasure. The hotel is also pet friendly and saw a few dogs staying here. It's next block to the Roosevelt so the Sazerac Bar was tempting me every night of the 4 I was here. It's a great stay here even though technically it's in the CBD and find that hotels in this area are easy walks to French Quarter, Magazine St. and throughout town. The staff here was super friendly and helpful. There is a safety precaution that Aloft does that most hotels follow, hotel elevators work only if you swipe your room key. You cant just ask for to let friends visiting up to your floor they ask that you come down to pick them up. Makes sense. Finally, the Aloft is not expensive. Usually plan trips around November esp before Thanksgiving. Visits: 1, 4 nights. Tip: When using Uber, input the 225 Baronne Street because mapping gets messed up when you use Uber. Ask for the higher corner rooms

Yelp
Buyer BEWARE! Don't even deserve 1 star! DO NOT RECOMMEND!! If you book at a reasonable rate months in advance, they will cancel you the day of if they can get a higher rate for the room. We showed up to check in and was told our reservation was canceled and that We could rebook and pay the higher price. Buyer beware!

Yelp
My review somehow got deleted so this will be shorter. This Aloft was not as nice as the one we stayed at in San Jose Cupertino. The hallways of two different floors had a bad smell like a combination of being hot, musty, and weed. My room didn't have all the towels that was suppose to be in there along with the complimentary water bottle missing. When we called the front desk for more towels, it never came. The frame of our room door was damaged and looked exactly how someone would try to break in. It was weird and interesting they didn't bother to fix it.

Yelp
So if I were in New Orleans and I needed a go-to dog friendly hotel that was reasonably priced, Aloft would definitely be on my list. The rooms are adequate, minimalist decor and the staff was great, attentive and always gave Lia lots of attention. There is a dog park a couple blocks away at Duncan Park, but when we walked over that way early on a Saturday morning...it wasn't the most pleasant walk, so we chose not to go back that way any other time during our stay. Overall a great experience, and a four "woof" review for sure.

Yelp
Parking is certainly an issue in Downtown. There is valet, but it will cost you $$. Aloft is away from the chaos of the French Quarter, but close enough to walk to it. HOWEVER, I would NOT recommend walking at night. Safety is a huge issue in NOLA. The room itself was not bad! Everything was clean, we had windows that brought adequate lighting to the room, and our TV was situated perfectly in between the windows. We brought our pup with us on vacation (as always), and he seemed to enjoy himself as well.

Yelp
Stayed at this property for weekend while celebrating my wife's birthday. This property was uniquely designed and appealing to the eye! This a cool place to stay when enjoying NOLA! The hotel is conveniently close to the French quarters and other attractions. The bar and the lounge area great places to sit with friends or enjoy watching sports. I don't own a pet but, I noticed a lot of the guest had dogs so, I am assuming hotel is pet friendly. Steffanie Arnold was great in helping me coordinate and book rooms for my guest!
