"Clean-lined and airy in design and convenient to almost everything visitors to Portland want to see, Aloft manages to be many things to many visitors. It’s a casual and kid-friendly property for young families. It’s an efficient place to bunk down and kick back before meetings if you’re on a business trip. It’s a stylish base camp for exploring the city; colorful graphic rugs and splashes of bright furnishings met with pristine white linens and views of Portland harbor and surrounding rooftops all render an energetic feeling of being welcomed and enveloped by the city. Amenities by Dry Bar and walk-in showers (complete with rainfall shower heads) were the icing on the proverbial hospitality cake." - Joe Ricchio, Alexandra Hall

Google
We just returned from a 5 night stay at Aloft downtown Portland. Location is perfect, especially when downtown and want to walk to shops and restaurants in the chilly weather. The valets were super helpful when we needed to retrieve our car. Rooms were modern with the decor but overall perfectly fine. Would love a small space to put the suitcases instead of them having to rest on the floor. Water station was flavored with different fruit each day so that was a nice touch. Gym is on the second floor fyi. Chris Dodd the bartender is a gem. Full of recommendations for where to eat or go in the area. He even has files he will email you for reference during your day. He also made my birthday drink extra special. Would definitely stay here again.

I was very impressed with Aloft Portland Downtown. This hotel gave very fun vibes and featured a great lounge and bar area on the first floor. This is a good place to stay for young adults or even families with kids because the amenities are plentiful although I don’t think there was a swimming pool. My only complaint was that it wasn’t very quiet during our stay - mainly because we had noisy neighbors and thin walls to separate us.

Google
I really like the location of the hotel. It was easy to walk to most places downtown. I didn’t have to drive at all. The hotel had a very modern and trendy decor and feel. It is definitely geared towards adults, not families. Traveling alone or as a couple, this would be an ideal hotel to stay in. The rooms very pretty bare and basic as far as decor goes. There was no where near enough storage for clothing or luggage. You could also hear people in the hallway often. It gets an A for cleanliness but a C for usability. The staff at the hotel were very nice. The front desk, bartender, and valet were all friendly and helpful.

Google
Overall, we had an excellent time at Aloft and would stay here again! The hotel is lovely, chic, and thoughtfully designed. We loved our room and were fine with the city view. Very comfy bed, great bathroom and complimentary hair/body products. The walls do seem a little thin and it was pretty loud especially since they placed us right beside the elevator, but it didn’t bother us too much as long as you don’t try to sleep past ~8 am. The fitness center is currently closed for renovations which did bother us, so be aware of that. Location can’t be beat, walk everywhere. Complimentary coffee in the morning with oat milk was also excellent. Nice water bottle refill station. The lobby is super fun, we played pool after our night out and got some really great cocktails from the lobby bar. We also had the best bartender, Chris, who is doing everything right. Great recommendations and conversation, and very talented at what he does. Thank you, Chris! Great service from all the employees at Aloft.

Google
A beautiful modern hotel in the old port area of Portland. Clean and modern rooms they are very comfortable. Kala at the bar is a wealth of knowledge about local food and drinks. The vibe at the bar is fantastic!

Google
If you are looking for a place to stay that is in walking distance of everywhere in Portland, this will be a good option. The walls were paper thin and you heard everything going in the hallways and other rooms. If you don’t expect to stay in the room much outside to sleep, shouldn’t be an issue.

Google
It is a wonderful place to stay in Portland, ME. Modern, clean, and simply furnished, the hotel was a joy to stay at. The staff was attentive to customer needs and worked to be sure that the customer always came first. We got a great price on KAYAK and had the waterside view. A great and diverse choice of restaurants within short walking distances.

Google
We loved it for being super clean and modern, and the location was perfect as you can walk everywhere! The employees are beyond nice and helpful. However the good stops there. The room felt cramped and has absolutely no where to put your belongings and clothes! And yes it's loud, you will hear everyone around you. The functionality and value were definitely lacking. The fitness room was closed for repairs and $40 a night to park seemed a bit excessive as we later heard others nearby offered reimbursement

Yelp
The Aloft Portland is nice and a new hotel so it's clean and a good stay overall. The staff was excellent and were excellent hosts during our stay. The bed is comfortable, It has a nice modern vibe. the rooms are compact but i do like the layout. The location is good and walked around easily from this Aloft. Views are nice overall but Portland is a working dock area so the views are a bit grand but the water view was okay. I like Alofts in general but I have found this property t feels like the construction is a bit cheap. My specific issues with this property is you can hear everything through the walls in the room. I don't get how this was an oversight as i could hear full conversation of my neighbors at times. The floor to ceiling windows seems cool but offer very little privacy. Over all good stay but the building construction quality really bothers me. I am mixed on would i stay here again.

Yelp
I was only in town for a couple days, but I knew I was going to be doing a lot of eating, because Portland punches way above its weight when it comes to delicious food. So my priorities when picking a hotel were (1) location and (2) I wanted a fitness center. After all, how can I eat all the lobster rolls and duck fat fries and biscuit sandwiches if I don't work out? It's literally the only reason I do work out. So I was a little disappointed when I found out the fitness center was out of order. I'm not sure if it's still out of order (or why it is in the first place - I walked by it in the hallway, and it just looked closed), but if you care, I'd call and ask because they certainly don't tell you when you book your stay. Beyond that disappointment, the Aloft is just fine. The location is great. My room was clean, and comfortable. The shower was pretty good, with decent products. You can do a lot worse.

Yelp
This was my first time traveling to downtown Portland, Maine. I found the location to be ideal, very accessible from the airport via the Metro bus stop located nearby. The room was so clean, and the decor was so fresh looking. The lobby has a nice bar and a small snack area to purchase items. I have to emphasize again the location, close to everything and walking distance to where you would join many tours. It is also across to the waterfront and all of the great restaurants that downtown Portland has to offer. Becky's diner is right across the street if you want a quick meal. The free coffee in the lobby was actually strong ! I usually don't like lobby coffee so much. This one was on point. When I checked in the reception employees were so kind, and when I checked out, one of them remembered me which I thought was such a sweet touch . I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Yelp
I'd stay here again. Very nice hotel and for the price I liked it ($158)with $35 valet parking fee. Front desk women was less than pleasant. No warm welcome... just doing her job and I was say that is about it. Also didn't help the valet guy was also less than welcoming. Just doing his job. Maybe they are brother & sister.... LOL! Room was great with huge picture windows looking out toward the water. Took us a little while to figure out how to shut the automatic shades. Great location... right on Commercial Street in Old Port. We will be back.

Theo S.

Yelp
Nice looking hotel but expensive for what you get. The room was OK but small . Here is the issue . When we got to our room we unpacked and went into the bathroom and there was feces smeared on the toilet seat . So gross . Made me question the cleanliness of everything in my room. The hotel gave me a free cocktail to make up for it, not two because we were a couple, but one . I won't stay here again .

Melissa S.

Yelp
Love the decor of the rooms. You can tell this is a newer brand. I've stayed at my share of Marriott properties and I have to say the beds here are probably the best. Nice soft pillows as well. They have a cute lobby bar and a pool table/game area. They have valet for $40 a day and there is very little parking in the area so expect to have to valet. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Overall good experience here

C K.

Yelp
I haven't even checked out yet, but I didn't want to forget to rate this place. Convenient. Affordable. Clean. LOVELY staff (thank you, J.C., Nickay, and Ashley especially!). Comfy rooms. Darkening shades! Very pleasant lobby area with nooks for games and chats. Hot chocolate bar in the lobby-- a delicious treat. Clean, non-coffee-tasting hot water for tea. Only a few beefs: $40 daily parking seems really pricy. Only one person could drive my manual transmission car!

Lea P.

Yelp
I absolutely loved almost every single detail of this hotel! I must say though that the bartender was the best thing here (and that's not saying anything negative about the rest of it, he's just that awesome)! The decor here is whimsically comfortable. It's sheik, without being pretentious or making you feel déclassé just for existing. Very modern, and cosmopolitan, while still maintaining an air of exclusivity, that doesn't brag about itself. On to the nighttime bartender! That bar is gorgeous, and their signature cocktail menu has very inventive mixology, that you don't even need to look at because this bartender is better than if he were scripted! He can (and will) ask you a few questions and determine the perfect drink for you, without you even having to read their pretty well thought out list. He is that in tuned, descriptive, and inclusive! I could spend hours just watching him connect with each person! He gives truly genuine care to each and every guest and is so informative, as to be as riveting as an episode of charming, old time television! It was our absolute pleasure to sit at his bar and I'm only sad I had to leave because I was there for a work trip. I will make it back as soon as possible.

Yelp
The motel is modern and seems to try to look hip.we had stayed at one of their places in Europe and it was hip and looked it. The place was incredibly noisy.there was tons of internal and outside noise. The big window looked out at another hotel that very close to ours.this made it necessary to keep drapes drawn always for privacy. Except for the car valet, the staff was not at all helpful and had attitude that bordered on arrogance. The location is very nice.i would return only if the price was right.

Cathy H.

Yelp
For the price, it could have been a better stay. Our window blinds could not close and it was incredibly bright. We called down to the front desk but no one was able to help. In addition to being bright, outside could see inside to our room since we couldn't close our blinds. Inside it was clean and spacious. Overall, it was a good stay.

Yelp
I read the reviews here and elsewhere before booking a room for a weekend in late September. Prices for this particular weekend were more than I generally like to pay but this was our first trip away since Covid so we went for it. The hotel is very sleek, clean and modern. If you have a car that you'd like to park at the hotel it's a mandatory $35 a day for valet parking. That sucks and it's unnecessary in my opinion and the only reason I docked a star. The room is far from huge but it's well thought out in layout and needs. It's minimal (two drawers), wee table, two nightstands, lots of USB outlets. The water pressure in the shower could've been better but it was hot. I appreciated the mini fridge and the 2 bottles of water they provided. It's way better than a mini-bar, IMHO. We were not disturbed by any noise or other people. The other guests were all super friendly, as was the staff (very, very welcoming). We ended up spending an hour at the bar on our last night and the bartender and other staffers were engaging and really fun to chat with (also, good drinks, good draft beers). Lastly, there doesn't seem to be a restaurant but there's a little open spot with complimentary coffee and tea (with to-go cups) and little snacky things that you can buy (such as an BEC sandwich in the morning). One last thing-the bartender told us that the rooms were generally not as expensive as we paid (about $1,200), it was just lots of demand for that weekend. We did see lots of wedding stuff going on, so that explains the up-charge.

Marie R.

Yelp
Why does this place have bad reviews??? This is such a cute hotel! The host downstairs is store nice and cool. My bf shot some pool with some of the other guests while I hung out by the lobby. The lobby is so inviting and the room we got was super cute!

Phil T.

Yelp
The staff at the registration desk were always very welcoming and helpful. It is a dog friendly hotel and they were very nice to our fox red Labrador Retriever and liked to give her a treat after our many walks around Portland. The hotel is very people friendly and has a nice open bar on the lobby floor. It was nice to come down in the morning and get your own coffee. The location is across from the water and many excellent restaurants are close by as well as shops to visit. I would recommend this hotel if you're going to visit Portland Maine.

Kelly F.

Yelp
Stayed here for New Years and definitely prefer the ace hotel down the street. Service was lovely, but our room only had one towel (didn't realize we could have used the app for it) and we had booked for two people. Yes, we could have called but then you have to wait for it arrive. My major concern was that there was no screen except a full panel that came down over the window. I have a difficult time getting up in hotel rooms because of how blackout they are and if I hadn't had something to wake me up, likely would have slept until after checkout! The bar tender at their bar was working New Year's Eve on his own and he was amazing!! That place is very lucky to have him.

Grace M.

Yelp
Wanted to like it - liked the look when I walked in. Very disappointing after that. A sport team stayed in the hotel at the same time so it sounded and looked like a dormitory. They took over the lobby and made so much noise in the halls (door slamming, screaming etc) all evening and night. Why put a solo traveler on the same floor? No one asked how my stay was when I checked out and they charged a marketing fee to my bill without mentioning it. There are plenty of reputable hotels in the same street - stay in one of them instead.

Stella E.

Yelp
This was not the nicest of the aloft I've stayed in. Lobby was not good a little used up.

Kaitlyn M.

Yelp
We were in town from Jersey for a wedding of a friend. Following an arduous journey in which the state of Connecticut was absolutely awful to pass through, we arrived at the hotel. Aside from the nearly unavoidable $35/night valet, check-in was smooth. The hotel was trendy & I was delighted to see Drybar products in the shower. There was a steamer for clothes which was perfect but the blow dryer had a diffuser attachment which was elite. We had great pho for dinner down the street and stopped at the hotel bar after for libations. Chris was our bartender. Which one? If he's reading this, he'll know who he is. We sat down and after 27 seconds he apologized for the unacceptably long wait he made us endure, which, lucky for him, I'm an extremely patient person. Still, I needed another 9 seconds to decide what I wanted & he waited on me hand & foot, pouring their finest glass of Monkey Bay Sauv Blanc. My fiancé had some beers but then Chris made him a Manhattan that my extremely picky grandmother (RIP) wouldn't have sent back if she was here with us, which she would more times than not but I think this one would've satisfied her. So shout out to you, Chris. Also, Chris will give you all the insider info on working for Disney. He loves telling stories about when he worked for their wedding department. Maybe he remembers some old choreography. I never asked but maybe you could! He was the best bartender we've had in a while & was equally as pleasant the next night. I know he would say the same about us.

Dan F.

Yelp
I am staying at this hotel for 3 nights. So far, so good. It has a nice location with modern rooms and the staff are friendly. If you are here during the week there is a lot of street parking if you time things right. There are many places to eat within walking distance.

Chris S.

Yelp
Overpriced and mediocre hotel with some ridiculously bad valet service. Booked a corner room months in advance for 3 nights, which came out to almost $1100. Upon checking in I was told they had to 'upgrade' me to a water view because the corner room wasn't available. Now I guess they didn't lie when they said 'water view' because I could see a little bit of the water in the distance. But if you know Portland, the waterfront area is mainly the industrial maritime business of seafood purveyors and other maritime businesses, so it's not much to look at. The hotel is new, so that was good as it was updated with USB chargers, a nice minifridge, a digital safe, and nice amenities. I probably wouldn't recommend this hotel for larger families, or new relationships, as the bathroom area is open to the rest of the room, and your significant others' tinkling can be heard very well. The toilet area has a sliding barn door--ours was covered in dried urine splatter left behind by previous guests. The TV is nice and big and you can sign into your own Netflix, Prime, and Youtube accounts. I found the bed very comfortable, the artwork nice, and the 'Beautiful Mind' amount of numbers printed on the window shade kinda mind numbing. The valet service was steep, $35 a day extra, and really the only parking option. The 2 times we handed our ticket to the valet to go fetch it they had trouble. The first time they had trouble finding the car, and we watched the valet run from lot to lot looking for it. He finally did. The second time, the valet brought us a car...except the car he brought us wasn't ours. Honestly, I don't think I'd stay at this hotel again. Too many strikes for the amount of money that we paid for it.

Lorraine P.

Yelp
We loved this hotel for location, ease of use, bar, service and view of the bay. The bar food menu could have had a few more selections, but Chris D, the bartender, made up for this with his welcoming spirit, friendly demeanor, excellent drink mixer. He's simply wonderful, knowledgeable about the area and a delight. We truly felt like we were coming home at the end of every day. Valet was efficient, front desk was helpful, housekeepers were diligent. A nice stay in a new town for us.

Ryan G.

Yelp
Chris made my Coors to perfection. It was the crispiest beer i ever had. Its almost as if Chris was hiking the Rockies himself and milked those sweet mountain tops. The moutains were bluer than my own balls. But if you are someone who dabbles in something more than a beer, go for espresso. It was a beautiful display of frothy magic. But if you love to indulge in basic aesthetics, see chris to make you a wonderful drink that indulges your desires. If youre looking for fancy drinks .. go see chris.

Yelp
First off - if you're in the 230s...demand a different room, you'll thank me later! Okay, now for the review - this was my worst stay at an Aloft hotel, and here's why: #1. The proximity to the gym and the laundry room is not conducive to a good night's sleep, as you'll be greeted by a BAM! BAM! BAM! as those heavy doors slam shut, along with the THUD! and THUD! of the weights all throughout the night. #2. Bad information. The woman gave me bad information about where to park overnight as if I had followed her advice, I work have gotten a ticket as they do regularly street sweep. Fortunately the bartender did tell me accurate information to avoid the ticket, and where I should park. #3 Unkept rooms. As soon as we entered our room, our shoes made sticky sounds as if the water hadn't been changed out or something when they watered the floor. #4. Lack of a breakfast. For the price that we paid for the room, you would think that they would have more than just coffee available for breakfast, like fruit, but those were only available for purchase. #5. Coming in from the street side was not super advantageous as they only have the revolving door available, which doesn't permit handicap access, nor people with suitcases to easily get in. It felt like they expected people to walk to the other side of the building and use the valet parking entrance to get in.

Cardin N.

Yelp
Super cute hotel with a solid pool table in the lobby. Service from the bartender downstairs to the check in desk was top notch. Room was very clean and delightful. Shampoo smelled amazing. No complaints whatsoever staying here tonight!

Brooke N.

Yelp
This was a perfect spot in the mix of Portland maine! It was clean, great customer service and the rooms were perfect!!! The bed was comfortable too which is a big deal to me! If I go back to Portland this would def be my go to spot to book for the trip! You should check it out and they have a lobby bar with pool tables.

Cathy M.

Yelp
The only good thing about this hotel was the staff and the cleanliness. The bed was uncomfortable, and the window looked directly into the window in the next courtyard. The design of the room looked like a cross between a college dorm and a prison cell. It has a rod, not a closet, for hanging your clothes. The safe is right below it, so there is no room for hanging long dresses. The rod is right next to the door, and you are banging into your clothes every time you come into the room. The luggage holder is the top of a 2-drawer dresser that sits on the floor. The unit is the size of a small suitcase. The unit is right next to the vanity and sink. The shower area wasn't bad except it was directly across from the luggage. It was a struggle to keep items in our luggage from getting wet. The other side of the partition has the bed, a TV, a small table with a corner unit to sit on, a small one shelf fridge, and angled metal attached to the wall as bedside tables. No drawers. The only parking offered is valet parking at $35 a day. I understand that parking is a premium and it does provide a solution. It would have been nice to know up front.

Susan K.

Yelp
The room is small but comfortable. You can hear people in the neighboring rooms. I would recommend this as a place to stay if you are planning on spending on more time out of the room than in it. The breakfast is order only and not your traditional buffet-- not a very welcoming vibe but there are lots of options outside of the hotel that would be a better idea.

Haley M.

Yelp
Beautiful lounge, bar, and rooms. The hotel is right by the water close to walking distance to yummy lobster rolls. Friendly staff with great recommendations!

Tiffany W.

Yelp
I'm torn between 3-4 stars. If you're looking for a nice, clean place to stay in a central location, I'd give it 4 stars. But what really makes a place for me is the customer service and it was extremely hit and miss here. Both of the guys at valet - helpful, happy, and friendly. The guy at the desk - definitely hates his job, didn't want to be there, and couldn't be terribly bothered to help me. The bartender - professional, skilled, and accommodating. The housekeeping - seemed like I was invading their home and I'm in the way. That was the last straw for me; when I'm on vacation I want to relax and maybe sleep in. I could hear the housekeeper singing in the hallway and then knock very sharply at my door (even though I had a do not disturb sign up and checkout is at 12, it was 930!). The bad outweighed the good and I probably wouldn't consider staying there again.

Erik A.

Yelp
I made a reservation to stay at the Aloft in Portland Maine. They canceled on me two weeks before we're scheduled to fly out. I was forced to scramble to find another place to stay. I ended up staying at the Hilton Canopy and would highly recommend it. As a rewards member at Marriott there is an "Ultimate Reservation Guarantee." It states, "If we can't honor your reservation for any reason we'll pay for you to stay nearby and compensate you for your inconvenience." I am a platinum rewards member at Marriott and they refused to pay and refused to compensate me for their short notice cancellation. After looking into it, their interpretation of "for any reason" has exceptions to it so they would not honor their own policy. Who would have know that "for any reason" isn't really for any reason!!

Kelly J B.

Yelp
Loved the service, atmosphere, rooms and great location ! Excellent mid to economic cost hotel. Everything was attractive and worked!

Mandy S.

Yelp
Beware of valet service and management - we stayed for almost a week, utilized valet service for the entire time - paying for the nightly rate and tipping, and at the conclusion of our stay discovered that our vehicle had been used to run staff to and from a remote parking lot. Went to access our vehicle to put the luggage in at the conclusion of our stay and couldn't find it - were then told by the valet that they had been using our car to run each other to and from the remote lot (past Becky's Diner - outside, unsecured). When asked if this was typical practice, the valet stated that it was - they had just been using our car most recently. Car was hot and dirty - bird poop all over it. Went inside to speak with manager - who would not speak with us - were told they were in a meeting, left my phone number - never ever have heard back, reported it to corporate - who responded and told us we would hear back from the hotel management within 3-5 business days - that was in July - have yet to speak to anyone. Reached out to corporate team twice to notify them that we had never heard back - still nothing. Super frustrating and disappointing - recommend finding a different place. There are plenty of options in this price range without this frustration and disrespect.

David D.

Yelp
Room service was spot on and rooms were clean. Valet service on their game but Chris the bartender might have been the best bartender I've ever had ( and that says a lot). Very knowledgeable not only about the beer and drinks but of Portland in general. Really enhanced the visit.

Ming C.

Yelp
They don't care about customers. Why do they deserves 5 stars? 1. Mandatory $35/day "valet parking", which employees don't give a fk about you. 2. The bed is dirty af, you better check if you still decide to stay here. 3. Ask for help? It is quick you help it yourself

J B.

Yelp
Bar is decent. Whole hotel is a little dirty. Bar tender needs to wipe counter between guests. Sticky and dirty counter top. Room is ok. Modern open bathroom with toilet in its own room. Bed: decent comfortable bed, however ours had a stained bottom sheet. We asked staff to address. The solution was to give us a flat sheet and walk a way. At that price per night I shouldn't have to make the bed or deal with the issue. One good part is they brought it up quickly. Overall cleanliness was poor. Location was good. View was decent. Don't think we will return to this hotel. Have to try another one going forward for our trips to Portland. Disappointed in this one. Frequent Marriott traveler and I don't think this one is up to snuff.

Alyssa S.

Yelp
This is the worst Marriott I have stayed in yet. The only reason I'm giving two stars is for the location and their WXYZ Bar. The bartenders were wonderful and so helpful with giving options on places to go in Portland. However, the hotel messed up my room reservation, and switched my room to a worse room than the rate I paid for and was unwilling to change my rate for four days. I asked multiple times for an explanation and a rate change due to this mistake and was told it would be fixed and never was in time I finally decided I needed to speak to a manager. Aaron at the front desk was completely unhelpful. The rooms are noisy, you can hear everything around you.

Michael R.

Yelp
One of the reasons why I always love the Aloft brand is how well-appointed their rooms are, and this location in Portland definitely delivered on our recent trip. Our room (just a standard one King) had plenty of space to lay out luggage and clothing, while still plenty of room to walk around and even a cozy table/booth. Cleanliness standards were very high. We didn't interact with very many employees, but the concierge who checked us in was friendly and efficient. I ordered extra towels for our room via the Bonvoy app and quite frankly, as a millennial, I loved not having to interact with a human for this. The only downside might be that it takes a walk uphill to get to the heart of Portland along Congress Street - I'd hate it in the winter. Besides that, I loved the location especially since we had a partial view of the harbor/Fore River. We very easily found free, un-metered street parking maybe a block away.

Joe K.

Yelp
Cheap, noisy hotel masquerading as chic. Very noisy-likely due to design/construction choices. Rooms have no carpeting so I heard every footstep above me. The hallways are all hard surfaces so every sound echoed and came into my room. Traffic on the street was loud and intrusive. On top of it all, my refrigerator made a high-pitched whine that I eliminated by unplugging it. If you want "cute and trendy" stay here. If you want a restful stay, stay elsewhere.

Alex J R.

Yelp
5 stars because Chris the bartender is amazing! So friendly and makes the experience 10 stars. Has a curated list of restaurants and breweries for you and will customize your drink based on your likes/dislikes. Go for Chris!

Yvonne R.

Yelp
Don't stay there. Small room and grossly overpriced. But the small room wasn't an issue. The bathroom doesn't have a door and like that wasn't bad enough -- the giant floor (heavy) mirror was strategically placed in a way so another person can see what is going on in a bathroom from the comfort of the room itself! WHY??!! What if the room is shared between 2 friends or a mother and a child! What kind of perv designed these rooms?! Also very poor lighting next to the sink - if you want to shave - you'd be out of luck. Valet parking is $35 a night ... Location was great - hence 2 stars.

Yelp
The property was lovely, great location and amazing staff! Aaron and Chris were great. My hero was Azzdene! After a long day of travel he got us in our room immediately. So appreciated!!!

Yelp
Lets start with the good since that list is shorter. This place is clean, cheap, and in a good location. What more could you want? How about some service... My stay started out bad when the Bellatrix looking woman at the front desk scrutinized my wifes ID like she was a child then looked at me and said "are you Ethan then?" No I just heard an Ethan was staying here at this exact day and time so I thought id steal his identity and pay for his room. Believe it or not my wife can use her card for the room even if the reservation is under my name. This was minor but she had a weird attitude our whole stay. Just cold. I thought she was going to put a curse on me or something. More annoying was coming to a room with an empty tp roll and no tissues. These were never replaced since house keeping didnt once come by. Thankfully there was a single spare roll, but we ended up having to reuse our towels too. I dont mind reusing towels, but if I was expecting to I wouldnt have left them on the floor to be changed out when we left for the day. Not sure I'd come here again, weird place. I'll spend a few more dollars and go somewhere else, there are plenty of options.

Yelp
Came here as part of a tour group which the hotel did not seem ready for. Rooms were not well stocked. Some had one towel some had more. We had a one small piece of soap that was translucent it was so thin. The room had two queen beds and although the room was probably a normal size the space seemed smaller. I don't know if the decorator was new or what but there was a lot of wasted space. There two drawers for clothes in the whole room with a wardrobe with 3 hangers sitting by the door. A small table booth was in one corner and no place else to sit. The room was over all not very functional. I do have to say the bed was very comfortable. This is a new hotel. I would suggest management get involved with some quality control with the rooms.

Yelp
The priority seems to be financially connected I would think quality would come first but not in this case

Yelp
Our check in was super easy. Cathy and Brittany were very friendly and helpful. They offered several good dining suggestions. Casual but professional and were like friends. The room has an awesome view of downtown and the waterfront with windows on 3 sides, most floor to ceiling. Room was very comfortable and new.
