My recent stay at the Aloft Providence Downtown was a very pleasant experience, and I'd highly recommend it for anyone looking for modern accommodations in the heart of the city. The staff and service were exceptionally friendly and attentive throughout my stay. From check-in to any requests I had, everyone was eager to help and made me feel very welcome. The rooms themselves were a highlight – very modern and surprisingly spacious. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touch of a sound machine included in the room. While the sound machine was a welcome amenity, it also highlighted the one drawback of my stay: the noise from ongoing construction and street traffic outside. It was quite noticeable, especially at certain times, which I suspect is precisely why the sound machine is provided. Despite the external noise, the overall comfort and contemporary feel of the room, combined with the excellent service, made for a great visit. If you're looking for a stylish and comfortable stay in Providence, the Aloft is definitely worth considering.

Aloft Providence is a decent, no-frills stay — clean, modern, and in a solid location. The staff was friendly and service overall was good, but don’t expect anything above standard. The restaurant food was just okay, and valet service was hit or miss depending on who was working. Also worth noting: they don’t valet larger vehicles like vans, and there aren’t great alternatives. But heads up: the showers are way too sexy. Clear glass with no curtain or covering makes it real awkward if you’re sharing a room with friends. Ok for couples, less ideal for group travel.

Another awesome stay at the Aloft Providence Downtown. My favorite hotel to stay at when I visit Providence, and honestly the only hotel I will stay in! The staff are amazing and make an effort to know me and personalize my experience every time. The hotel is always in pristine condition, the rooms are fun and the food and beverage is top notch. I was upgraded to a river view room this time which had a view of the pedestrian bridge and the Providence Flea market on Sunday morning. Thanks for another great stay I’ll be back soon!

I recently coordinated a group stay at Aloft Providence Downtown for a team of eight, and the experience was absolutely outstanding. From the very beginning, Elijah Brown provided exceptional service. He went above and beyond to ensure every detail was handled with care, and that our entire team felt welcomed, comfortable, and supported. Managing logistics remotely can be challenging, but Elijah made the entire process smooth and stress-free. His professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine hospitality stood out and truly made a lasting impression. The staff as a whole were equally impressive—courteous, attentive, and committed to delivering a high-quality guest experience. Because of the excellent service we received, my team was able to stay focused on their purpose in town without worrying about accommodations. This was by far one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had, and Aloft Providence will absolutely be our go-to whenever we’re back in the area. Highly recommended!

I just spent two WONDERFUL days and nights in the Providence Aloft, and honestly, there is not a single aspect that I wasn't 100% pleased with. As with most hotels it starts at the front desk, and no matter whether it was Ariane, Daia or Jae who was on duty, each was friendly and knowledgeable, doing all the little things to welcome the traveler, and of course, always with a smile. Teamed with them is the concierge service, also welcoming, informative, helpful and equally friendly. The lobby was spacious and impressive, very tastefully decorated. A pool table was a nice distraction and a way to make an acquaintance or two, while the bar had any beverage of choice. (I've never seen someone so young as Hannah run a bar SO WELL! If she is there, ask her to tell you her story! She is amazing. ) Overlooking the street is a nice and well equipped fitness center. My room was spacious, immaculate, very comfy and offered all I needed and then some. The steam dryer to remove a couple wrinkles was a nice touch. The view was great as was the large TV with plenty of channels. Finally, another thing that so impressed me is how CLEAN the entire place is. Whether it is those cleaning the rooms working together, or little things like those cleaning the elevators, keeping the 1st floor areas clean, clearing tables on the first floor . . . the ALoft is SPARKLING clean, and all those responsible are likewise welcoming and friendly. A great location easily within a nice walking distance to so many things (including going to TRACK 15 for lunch but that will be a separate review!) Thank you ALL who made my stay, well PERFECT.

Nice, mid range hotel. Good for short stays. Room cooling is through a window unit, which can be a bit loud. Steamer provided for clothes, and drybar toiletries. Bathroom wallpaper is an... interesting choice, but it's alright. Breakfast is only provided through takeout from the front desk, and the rooftop restaurant is not open everyday.

Upon check-in, everything initially went smoothly. However, several issues arose during my stay that significantly impacted my experience. The following morning, I needed to leave early for work. When I called the front desk to request my car be brought around, I was told the valet was unable to accommodate the request due to a high volume of vehicles. I asked if a note could be left for the valet to pull the car when available, but the representative said that was not possible. As a result, I had to quickly get dressed and go downstairs in person to make the request. Similarly, when I attempted to place a breakfast order—despite knowing exactly what I wanted—I was told I would need to come downstairs to place it in person, which was inconvenient given my schedule. In terms of the accommodations, the room was quite small and did not feel clean. There was visible hair on the floor, which made me uncomfortable walking barefoot—I kept my shoes on for the duration of my stay. Following checkout, I was surprised to find an additional charge of $10.80 for snacks from the minibar. I did not consume any items from the snack area; the only time I was near it was to use the microwave to reheat my own food. Given the cleanliness concerns, service limitations, and the unexpected charge, I would be hesitant to return to this property in the future.

This was an eclectic hotel with nice touches. A newer hotel with uniquely decorated rooms with a different layout than the usual hotel room. After opening the room door you can turn to an open bathroom concept. Only the toilet has a pocket door. The sink and shower are out in the open. The sink wall has the bed headboard on the other side. This may not be for everyone. The rest of the room is your bedroom. There is a comfy bed, bench style seating with cool pillows, A glass door refrigerator was between the windows. The room lighting was good. I had a good night of sleep even though my room overlooked a busy road. The front desk checked me in quickly with a smile. There's a dark side street that was full. Might be best to consider valet parking. I really appreciated this approach to a different kind of hotel. I'd stay here again. Enjoy your stay.
