Google
Super yummy acai bowls. Great options for everyone! Love their smoothies and juices too. If you're on Kaua'i make sure you stop here.

Google
So yummy! I got the coconut açaí bowl and it was the best haupia I’ve ever had.

Google
Wasn’t a fan of the Acai crazy but did an absolute 180 after trying Aloha Aina and the Chunky Monkey bowl!! Aloha Aina is the place to get your healthy cravings satisfied 100%

Google
Ok I love the menu and always have. I’ve even been a customer since before they moved locations! ..but isn’t the word aloha in the name? No smiles, no welcome, the girl that took my order glared at me the entire time and answered a question I had abt a drink with zero enthusiasm. This doesn’t make me excited to come back at all. Where is the aloha on a beautiful Saturday morning?

Google
I got the Chunky Monkey for the first time in a few years, and was disappointed. I wonder what happened to the quality of the acai mix. The acai tasted and looked more like strawberry. It was a mauve color when acai should be more of a deep purple. It was good enough that I ate about half of it though.🤷🏼‍♀️ I'm kind of an acai snob though, so maybe I'm just a bit picky. I'd personally prefer to pay more money for a higher quality acai mix. I'd also love to see unsweetened acai as an option, if that is possible. I always appreciate Aloha Aina's vibe and mission, and that they support selling local products and have a water refill station. The service was good overall. 👍🏻

Google
Average açaí bowls. I had the Niu and my husband had the berry. I thought the haupia would be cream or a drizzle but they are large gelatin chunks. I found the texture off putting and they were pretty flavorless. Just not for me. My husband loved them. Probably would be better I had skipped the haupia. There were just so many of them I couldn’t enjoy the fruit. Edited: came back a year later (husband begged). I got the berry with no haupia and it was better. Still not the best on the island. I really prefer G’s in Waimea.

Google
This just might be the best acai bowl I've ever had! Definitely the best one I had on my trip to Kauai! I got the Nui (Coconut) Hapa (50/50 mix of Acai & Pitaya) Bowl - Base layered with coconut flakes, haupia (coconut pudding), and granola (I chose AAJC’s Homemade Granola but there's a raw gluten free option too). It is topped with banana, mango, papaya, and honey. It was absolutely incredible! My boyfriend ordered the Lumahai Sunrise smoothie - banana, pineapple, papaya, mango, lilikoi (passionfruit) coconut milk, and coconut water, which he enjoyed. The wait wasn't long compared to other places on the island, it took about 5 minutes to order and about 15 minutes to get my bowl. The shop is cute with a little selection of merchandise and health/wellness products. It is located in a strip mall (next to Panda Express). There are tables outside and bathrooms in the strip mall around the corner. You can't miss these acai bowls in Kauai!

Yelp
I had a couple hour layover in Kauai and stopped by Aloha Aina Juice Cafe. The Nui açaí bowl was everything I didn't know I needed after a long flight. Super refreshing and loaded up with haupia, fresh banana, mango, papaya, local honey, and the of course the nui, (toasted coconut flakes) on top. It was literally perfect; tropical, chilled, and totally satisfying. This is a cute little spot with good energy and even better ingredients. I can't wait to be back on island so I can go back.

Yelp
We got the Niu (Coconut) bowl and it was super delicious! It comes with coconut pudding cut into cubes, granola, Acai base, mangoes, papaya, and bananas. I added coconut chia pudding on top as an extra add on. Overall, the bowl hit the spot and was really fresh. The papaya was perfectly ripe and sweet.

Yelp
Delicious & refreshing juice, smoothies, & açaí bowls. Great to have after a long humid day. My daughter got the Kool Keiki - she said it tasted similar to Jamba Juice. She enjoyed how it was sweet with a bit of a tangy flavor. I got the Wake up & Live - that was made with carrots, apple, ginger, etc. the drink was good. You can really taste the ginger, which I really liked bc it clears your throat. The service was good, the lady was patient & recommended drinks to me since it was our first time. Small inside, but good space outside with tables to enjoy your drink.

Yelp
This place was good but definitely not the best I had in Kauai. It seemed to be a local stop. The thing that threw me off was that some of their fruit was frozen. I understand fruit can't always be in season but it should definitely be clearly advertised if you will be receiving frozen fruit in your bowl. The staff weren't very friendly and seemed to just want us to hurry up and order. They also weren't very helpful when I was asking questions.

Yelp
This was my favorite of the 3 different açaí bowl locations I tried while on vacation in Kauai. We had the chunky monkey and it was delicious. Not the prettiest or best presentation of a bowl but taste wise it was best. I loved that it was layered, it was nice to also have granola and peanut butter on the bottom of the frozen acai base
google avatar

Emily R.

Yelp
Had the small Açaí bowl that 2 types açaí, strawberries, bananas, coconut chia, almond butter.... just delicious! We also got avocado toast and it was delicious too. Shared both but alot of food. Great service. Sat outside at tables.

Samantha E.

Yelp
Went about an hour ago and ordered 2 açaí bowls and a banana bread, took about 10 minutes not an issue looked great so I didn't try it until I got in the car and noticed I was served frozen blueberries and frozen mangos. Very dissatisfied. the açaí is obviously blended with ice so it's more of a thick smoothie icee texture which I wouldn't have minded much if my fruit wasn't frozen so it was all just ice. I called twice to let the store know but no answer so I'm writing a review. I would've preferred they let me know they ran out of fresh fruit so I could've chosen something else instead of paying $30+ for frozen fruit that was probably for their smoothies. No issues with the pb bowl, haven't tried the bread yet.

Yelp
10/10 Acai bowls. Pre-set combinations. Everything is super fresh. The peanut butter on the chunky monkey was also a game changer. This place will exceed your expectations!
google avatar

Jenny L.

Yelp
The açaí bowl base flavor was good, but the consistency was icier than expected. It was also weird and disappointing that they used frozen fruit as the topping when the bowls are $14. We've had many açaí bowls in kauai and maui and have never had frozen fruit as a topping (even the blueberries were frozen). It was average at best.

Yelp
Best juice on the island, located right in Līhuʻe. My go-to is the waiwai lemi WITH da nīoi, hands down the BEST! Love that you can order online and pick up or enjoy the beautiful outdoor space that they have. Aloha ʻĀina is the only place we get juice. The quality can be tasted through all their different drink options and don't even get me STARTED on their breakfast croissants! Better than the juice/food is the service, straight aloha served here and you can feel that they love what they do! Kaliah has helped us numerous times and she's always so sweet and if my keiki can't decide what to get, she suggests a fun option that they always love!!!

Yelp
this is the BEST açaí bowl in Kaui!!! I got the coconut (Nui) açaí bowl and all bowls are latered with homemade macadamia nut granola, local honey and bananas! So fresh and filling.

Maui P.

Yelp
I traveled from Maui to explore Kauai, spending about $250 on a quick round-trip adventure. One of the stops I was really looking forward to was Aloha Juice -- I had heard so much about it and couldn't wait to try it. I arrived exactly at 2:45 PM after a long day, excited to finally experience it. When I asked, "What's your sweetest juice?" about four employees looked at each other before one (with black hair) responded, "Oh, we close in 10 minutes -- no juice." I explained I had come all the way from Maui and asked if they could make just one juice, especially since I still had 15 minutes before closing. Unfortunately, they didn't offer much help and seemed more focused on closing early, even though there were several staff members available. I completely understand wanting to wrap up for the day -- everyone deserves to go home . It was a disappointing experience for a place I was so excited to support.

Yelp
Swung by here to get calories in us after the flight. They have everything: shakes, açaí bowls, coffee, and juice. We got four berry açaí bowls, a puhi protein shake, and a cold brew coffee with oat milk (I assumed I would need the milk for bad coffee). The bowls were awesome: freshly cut fruit, delicious crunchy granola and lots of both over a bed of frozen delicious açaí. The shake was also great: most shakes with protein powder are grainy, this was not at all, it was just delicious and incredibly filling. Lastly the coffee: it was great. The oat milk was good and offset any bitterness, but they use cold brew to make their ice cubes, high level stuff for a juice bar. Next time I would skip the oat milk, it was that good. Overall we loved it and will swing by on the way to the airport.

Yelp
OMG best açaí bowls on the island!!! Fresh, beautiful and so dang delicious!!! Been there twice this week and had to buy a hat today since I want to spread the aloha. Everyone must try! Service is friendly and fast. The store is neat and filled with great gifts for your family , friends and yourself. My local friend sent me here during my visit and I will be dreaming about it until my next visit.

JJ T.

Yelp
Came here for açaí bowls. Got 3 diff ones . Super fresh! Fruit was delicious and açaí was not overly sweet. Owner was very friendly. Def recommend

Yelp
Great toppings and wonderful presentation. Shop is cute and staff is very nice. Gluten free granola option of chopped almonds/goji berries/coconut. Acai base was okay, icy, not very acai tasting and more heavy on the juice and sugar.
google avatar

Alysha H.

Yelp
10/10 would recommend!!! My Niu Haupia Açaí bowl was so delicious!! Everything tasted so fresh and the presentation was beautiful. Will definitely be back when I visit Kauai

Yelp
Last week, we had the Chunky monkey and pitiya passion. Both were nice with lots of toppings. Order at the counter and seat yourself outside. Pretty small inside. They do have a water refill station that is always convenient.

Yelp
We stopped at Aloha Aina for a quick breakfast before a beach day, and overall it was pretty good! They have a large selection of signature bowls, but it's also easy to modify or build your own. I ordered the Chunky Monkey Bowl and my friends chose the Tropical Chia Bowl, Berry Bowl, and Niu Bowl. Service was surprisingly quick, staff was friendly, and they even had little souvenirs for sale inside. There's no indoor seating since the shop is quite small, but there are a few tables right outside. All the bowls we tried were good (not mind blowing, but a very solid breakfast) and we were happy to get a quick start to our day!
google avatar

Macy F.

Yelp
One of the best açaí bowls I've had! Fruit was fresh and service was super fast! Can't wait to come back and try other bowls, although the chia was the best!

Yelp
We tried about every Acai place on the island and let me say, this was by far our favorite! Since our tubing tour guide told us about it, we went 1-2 times a day during our time here. From the moment I stepped into this cozy local acai shop, I was greeted by an inviting ambiance and the smell of homemade granola and fresh acai. The menu boasts a diverse selection of acai bowls, each a masterpiece of flavors and textures. The attention to detail is evident in the way every ingredient complements the other, resulting in a symphony of taste. The acai itself is velvety and bursting with natural sweetness, while the toppings range from crunchy granola to an assortment of vibrant fruits that add both color and taste. The staff here are a true testament to their commitment to customer satisfaction. With their friendly demeanor and willingness to customize orders, they ensure that every visit is tailored to your preferences. The best part... they layer their toppings! Most places have the worst acai to topping ratio. But not here! They layer the bottom with a good amount of nut butter of your choosing and granola, making every bite amazing! Whether you're seeking a wholesome breakfast, a post-workout treat, or a guilt-free indulgence, this place has you covered. Their portion sizes are generous, making it an excellent value for your money. I've had the pleasure of visiting multiple times, and each experience has been consistently outstanding. I can't recommend this local business enough. We have been daydreaming about this place since we left and cannot wait till we can go back!

Yelp
We had the coconut bowl and nitro buzz. The bowl had a good flavor and fresh fruit. The nitro buzz wasn't what I expected. It tasted like water downed blended coffee. I was hoping for more coffee flavor and sweetness. There is plenty of parking and a few tables outside.

Yelp
This place was recommended by two different people. And it didn't disappoint! I paid $11+ tax and tip for the Li'i (medium) sized Chunky Monkey. I love sweet foods but this size of acai I probably could've gone for a small because of the PB, choco chips and granola and honey that made it so sweet. Online it says they open at 7am but they open at 8am during M-F. The girl working behind the counter was very cheerful and sweet. They sell merch too! Stickers, shop shirts, papale hats and other wide brimmed hats.
google avatar

Yelp
Came here to try our first acai bowl in Kauai. Got the chunky monkey and the coconut. What stood out to me the most was the chunky monkey. I've never had peanut butter and chocolate chip in an acai bowl. It brought such an interesting texture where the acai was cold and grainy, the peanut butter as creamy and thick, the chocolate chips as nice and firm. When you have a generous spoonful of all three, it just makes your bite so luxurious. I didn't think I would like this combination, but I ended up really liking it. Contrasting that to the other acai bowl, I didn't think there was anything special there. The mango was frozen and so it wasn't fresh and overall it wasn't bad but I wasn't impressed. It felt like an acai bowl I could get anywhere in California. I am by no means a huge peanut butter fan but I highly recommend getting the chunky monkey over any other acai bowl.

Yelp
This was our last stop before hitting the airport (which is only 7 min away from here) and BOYYYYY did it hit the spot!!! SO many creative options, I couldn't choose!!!! After panicked deliberation, we finally went with the "Niu Bowl", which consisted of haupia (coconut pudding), acai, banana, mango, coconut flakes, and granola. The acai was delightfully sweet and refreshing, unlike the sour acai in Oahu. I was also surprised by how AMAZINGLY well the haupia went with everything!! Seriously *chef's kiss* AF. I savored every bit of this bowl, and it left me in a great mood as I boarded my flight afterwards. I've had my fair share of acai bowls living in Oahu, but Kauai does it infinitely better. Plenty of plaza parking available. There's also a public bathroom around the corner, for those who always need to pee like me LOL Very friendly staff, small but cute place. Several outdoor seating options outside the cafe as well! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to Kauai for a visit.

Yelp
Got the Hanalei Turmeric Colada. Was craving a pina colada with no alcohol. Took about 15 mins to make since they were so busy at 2:15pm. Smoothie was really good but everything increased by $0.50 a nd doesn't show that on their website.

Yelp
We visited Aloha Aina Juice Cafe on Thursday, Oct 28th. We wanted to squeeze in one last acai bowl on our last morning in Hawaii (and right before our flight back home) and I was so thankful that we got to do so! We came around 10 am and there weren't many people. We took a little bit to decide on what to get because everything looked so yummy! I decided to order the Niu to try something different since it sounded unique and it doesn't look like we have something like this back in socal. The following is the description from the menu: Niu (Coconut) Base layered with granola, coconut flakes and haupia (coconut pudding) topped with banana, mango, papaya and honey - Keiki $8.25 Annddd let me tell you, the Niu was AMAZING and lived up to its hype haha. I loved the coconut pudding on top, which was nice, soft, and sweetened to perfection. It kind of reminded me of almond pudding but with a creamy coconut instead. It balanced out the fruity base layer and added to the differing textures with the blend of acai, granola, and coconut shavings. The Niu tasted unique and was def different than the traditional acai bowls that you can get anywhere. It was a refreshing treat on a warm, rainy day haha! My sister in law even said that it was one of her fave 'meals' in Kauai lol One random thing was before I got my bowl, I heard one of the staff in the back tip the bowl over (on the table) and all the toppings came off. Of course that was my bowl ... so it came back lookin a lil rough around the edges but was oh so tasty. Also, they were giving out free avocados, which I thought was such a nice gesture. Our family picked a few for the little kiddos to eat. All in all, if I come back to Kauai, I will definitely be back! :')

Yelp
the workers here were super friendly. i'm always a little worried when i go to açaí places just because i am picky about my toppings but the staff was very understanding about me wanting to make substitutions. i got the niu and substituted honey and coconut flakes for almond butter. everything about this bowl was very delicious. the flavors worked really well together and i have never had an acai bowl with these types of toppings before so this was a unique experience. there was a bit of a wait at 9am so they must be pretty popular. there's not a lot of seating outside but we were fortunate to have a spot. my one complaint is that the the fruit toppings were frozen instead of fresh, which does not make sense considering that we are on an island.
google avatar

Kiana N.

Yelp
This is the best acai bowl I have ever had!!! My husband and I have probably come here 5 or 6 times on our honeymoon in Kauai because it's THAT GOOD. Not very many places you can get fresh poi and haupia on your acai bowl and I love that they layer in the granola and honey throughout the acai as well! Customer service was average though
google avatar

Lindsey S.

Yelp
Be prepared to wait for this delicious juice and açaí bowls. The seating is terrible, so plan to take your order to go.
google avatar

Krizel J.

Yelp
There isn't much açaí bowl options on Kauai. I always order the same bowl- Coconut Niu but never got bored of it. The haupia and the fresh fruit toppings makes the perfect combination. I don't know if the haupia is house made but it's addicting. The shop is consistent with most of my orders.

AJ C.

Yelp
One of the best açaí bowls I've ever had. The workers so friendly, even the owner. We went 4 times during our 5 day stay in Hawaii. The chunky monkey was the best one in our opinion
google avatar

Tiffany K.

Yelp
One of the best acai places on the island! My husband and I stopped by at least twice during our week stay and wish we were able to come by more often. It is located right across a school so expect a mid afternoon rush right after school ends! Thankfully we ordered right before the line started to get long. I got the berry acai bowl and my husband for the chunky monkey. Both were so good. We love that the acai is thick and not super sweet. The toppings def compliment the acai well!
google avatar

Tes M.

Yelp
The reputation of Aloha Aina is powerful and positive. I heard about their acai bowl from friends well before I learned of their location. I went to their store to purchase a gift card for a friend and their staff is so friendly and hard working. The owner of this location also generously donated to Kapaa High School's 2003 class which helped pay off hundreds of dollars in student lunch debt. Please consider supporting local businesses that care, like this one!
google avatar

Yelp
Aloha I went here yesterday morning I was the second one to order it took so long so many people got their order before I did , and my order wasn't up to par my daughter and I went here last week and the drinks tasted a lot better. Anyways this place has changed drastically no longer the friendly people that use to work there. This place is bunk!!

Yelp
TL:DR - Super good acai bowl. Close to the Lihue Airport After a very relaxing trip on Kauai, my girlfriend and I had to head home, but not without one last acai bowl. Fortunately Aloha Aina Juice Cafe was mere minutes away from the Lihue Airport, so we stopped in. Located at a shopping center, Aloha Aina Juice Cafe looks unassuming, but offers up one of the best acai bowls I have ever tasted. We ordered the "niu bowl" which has haupia, acai, banana, mango, coconut flakes, and granola. Covering it all is a drizzling of honey. It's a pretty decent size and they really pack it on. The acai itself was on the sweeter side, and not tart at all. The fruits were all ripe and incredibly sweet, even without the honey. The texture is a combination of both soft and crunchy (granola) and had a great mouth feel. We finished the bowl in mere minutes and were completely satisfied. Overall, a great acai bowl and totally worth dropping by before getting on your flight.

Elliot L.

Yelp
Amazingly delicious and honorable locally run business! I have know Misha for years. She has always been supporting the community any way she can. When we were in the process of making a local film we needed a ton of support from the community. Misha was always there for us when we needed tasty fuel for our cast and crew and supported our fundraising efforts for our non-profit organization as well!

Yelp
Long wait but worth it very delicious chunky monkey and aina bowls! Friendly staff would definitely come back! Mahalo

Yelp
Ate here twice while on the island. Both times ot the berry bowl, but subbed mango instead of bananas and did the pitaya/vanilla swirl with lilikoi syrup on top! So yummy and refreshing
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing flavors, and service, felt the aloha love through these amazing items, first time here and will come back, Lord willing,

Yelp
The NIU so good and fruit was so fresh !! I dream of the haupia topping can't wait to go again before I leave !

Yelp
We stopped here while we were on vacation and I loved it so much we went out of the way to make another visit before we left the island! The Chunky Monkey acai bowl was perfect for me in every way. I loved to combination of the peanut butter with the fruit and acai. I thought the portion size was great. I was with some friends and they were all happy with their items as well. The location was clean and service was prompt, and it was pretty conveniently located. If I come back to this island I'll definitely be stopping here again :)
google avatar

Jason L.

Yelp
This place is incredible. So many variety and sizes of fruit bowls. But the quality is matched by its quantity. But you get what you pay for. The service is great and the location is conveniently near the airport. I ordered the Chunky Monkey Açaí Bowl Nui sized which is 24 ounces for $12. It was great and definitely should be a trend state side in the Continental United States. They even have a rewards program. I don't recall how many it is, like 10 and get the 11th free or something. They should open up a franchise or something. It's places like this is literally one of the main reasons why I love Hawai'i, believe it or not. I can literally live off of and survive off of Açaí Bowls.
google avatar

Pauline M.

Yelp
Aloha Ainamakes a good bowl of açaí. We got it on our way to the helicopter ride since we were passing through the area. The consistency was great. Plenty of fruit, but a tad sweet for my liking. You can probably ask for less honey or sweetener on top. But this is probably due to me not eating a lot of sweets. So if you typically drink sweet drinks, this might not be a problem for you. I was not a huge fan of the miki miki matcha. It had too much coconut flavor and was weird to me. Didn't think the two flavors went together well but that is just personal preference maybe.
google avatar

Manon K.

Yelp
Delicious smoothies and acai bowls. Family friendly and central location in Lihue for a healthy lunch or snack.

Donna N.

Yelp
Drop everything and go here for an açaí bowl with a peanut butter drizzle. I spent eight days on Kauai and came here four times. The açaí is cold, thick, and just the right amount of sweet, and the toppings are fresh and generous. My favorite two bowls are the Aina (with poi) and the Tropical Chia Bowl (with the best coconut chia I've ever had). The bowls are better than any I have had in California, and potentially better than the bowls on Oahu! If you're comparing this place to Kalalea Juice Hale: both are delicious. Just note that Aloha Aina does not charge extra for fresh fruit toppings, and the açaí is a bit sweeter.
google avatar

Michelle C.

Yelp
I was craving an açaí bowl when I got Kauai so I found this place from yelp. The place has a pretty big menu and many choices from açaí. They also have a salad bar and smoothies. I went with their li'i berry with açaí and raw gluten free option and no coconut flakes. The girl said that this was a good option to go with no coconut flakes because the raw gluten free option also has coconut flakes inside of it. The li'i is their medium size and it was so filling! The bowl makes it look deceivingly small but I could barely finish it. The açaí has a nice smooth texture and had a lot of fruits. I wouldn't recommend the gluten free option instead of their granola. I try to eat gluten free as much as possible but I think açaí bowls are best with granola. I decided to sit down inside and eat it and noticed that it was always crowded. This place must be popular with the locals here.
google avatar

Amy F.

Yelp
This is the Açaí bowl of my dreams. I've been trying Açaí bowls anytime I can get one during my vacation to Maui and Kauai. This bowl was next level amazing- nothing will ever compare. I ordered The Hapa Niu. The 50/50 pitaya & açaí was just perfect. I also got the coconut cold brew- delish! My go-to at Starbucks is a cold brew with coconut milk. This blew the Starbucks cold brew away. Note: Apple Maps had me circling the block 3 times until I finally found them. If this happens to you, look for Domino's and Supercuts. Aloha Aina Juice Cafe is on the inside of the small strip mall.

Cherie B.

Yelp
Cute local cafe right in Lihue. I absolutely love this place. It's much more expensive than Jamba Juice but the quality of their Acai and fruits/toppings is worth the extra money you have to pay. The staff was super friendly. I ordered my Acai bowl online which was great to avoid the long line as it can get crowded in the store. They kept my bowl in the freezer until I arrived and it still tasted amazing! I went a little adventurous and swapped out the bananas for kiwi, added chocolate chips, and substituted the PB with almond butter. SOOOO DELICIOUS! I would highly recommend this place if you're craving an Acai bowl.
