"Aloha Bar, Oost by Los Bangeles & Fourteen. Tropicana, the former paradise, is beginning a new chapter. The famous pool at the Maasboulevard, the next few years as stadskas which sustainability, creative entrepreneurship, food and coffee are key.The old Wild Water Course is transformed into coffee roasting and coffee. In the outdoor restaurant the company opens Picnic Rotterdam, a summer terrace. The patio furniture is made from materials taken from the pool. A little further on the terrace, at the mobile pizzeria Old Scuola, one can enjoy a fresh wood oven pizza,capped with the mushrooms grown in the cellars of Tropicana."

Amazing place to have lunch or dinner. A lot of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options that all taste great. They also are low waste and do this in many ways, which makes eating here even better for the world. Super friendly staff and nice decor I would recommend ordering 3-5 dishes per 2 people and sharing them. The bitterballs are perfect and the brioche is a perfect combination of sweet, sour and salty. Also their home made ginger beer is one of the best I’ve ever had

Nice place with interesting history. On a clear that night the view of the Mass is amazing. Pity that it was a bit empty on a Saturday night. Maybe a good idea to update the drink options in the menu.

Situated in the former Tropicana swimming pool, they have some interesting combinations on their menu. Friendly waiters. Restroom looks a bit cobbled together, but the restaurant has a lovely view along the Maas river, interior looks nice.

It was amazing, the service was great, the food was delicious. Vegan and vegetarian proof. Very inventive. And it's an amazing atmosphere, you can even see the old pool it used to be. And if you want to unwind you can play ping-pong or swing on the swing!

This is a very unique place! Situated in the old Tropicana in Rotterdam, this place has the atmosphere of a tropical getaway. Lush plants and running water. For the interior alone this is a place to visit. The service was friendly and the staff were very helpful and nice. I can also say that the coffee mayonnaise they serve with their 'bitterballen' are really 'to-die-for'! Unfortunately the wine selection was a little bland for my taste, but that's subjective, I'm not easy when it comes to wine. So forget I said that, do yourself a favour and go and have a drink and some bitterballen there! You won't be disappointed. PS. The view is amazing!

Many veggie and vegan options. Great ambiance, friendly staff. Virgin mojito was delicious, vegan “scones” were nice as well though I don’t see how they could be considered scones. Rozemarijnkoekje was marked as vegan on the menu but it contains honey. 🤔

Went here on a Wednesday for the cheese fondue. The cheese was delicious. The service was good too. Maybe some grapes 🍇 or meat would be nice to add to the fondue.
