Aloha Sea Sports Centre

Friendly place. Just rock up and ask to hire paddle boards, wind surf kit and do on. The little bar there is quite well stocked too! We took a paddle boarding lesson one day, the staff really knew their stuff and they helped us look out for the kids while we were on the water. It's fast becoming one of my favorite places on the east coast, especially as you can head over to the hawker at east coast lagoon once you're done in the water! The only reason I didn't give five stars is that you'll struggle to navigate their website and will need to either show up and talk to someone or email to get details.

Mathew is one of the most helpful staff. Helped me choose the right board and wind sail patiently. Watched me from far to make sure I’m able to come back safely. Got a lot of tar on my clothes from the sea, Mathew also offered WD40 to clean the tar. Thank you for creating a friendly environment for surfers.

Super cool place for your weekend morning (and the entire day in general). Nice view to the sea, open space for any ball games, badminton, frisbee, etc. Also, they have nice coffee, snacks, and service. Usually we come there with our kid to enjoy the sea breeze and vibes. But there are other activities available as well, including SUP, windsurfing, wakeboarding nearby, and so on. Keep in mind that it is also located next to carpark, foodcourt (if you would like any local food), restrooms and underpass, so it is easier to get there by all kind of transport and stay next to all facilities you need. Highly recommended for visiting.

Came here for stand up paddling. Some of the boards were beaten up but that didn’t affect their performance in the water. It was enjoyable to get on the water despite the choppy conditions. The centre offers food and drinks on site making it a great place for an adventurous date or outing.

Get some water sport fun not far from the city center. However don't expect clear water as it just lies on the busy shipping anchorage

Took a SUP taster course and subsequently a package of 5h rental for the SUP board. The instructor was friendly and clear, keeping an eye on the 4 of us despite us drifting slightly that day (choppy seas). On subsequent visits, he was also helpful in providing advice on further technique improvement. The little bar there also does decent coffee and a range of other cold drinks and snacks that hit the spot after spending time out at sea. Great place to do water sports and relax after.

We have actually only ever been here for a pitstop beer and snack, but the place is so nice! Really friendly and a chilled out vibe.

Loved this place! Visiting from the US and needed a quiet place to relax and cool off. Staff was super friendly and equipment was in good condition. Water was calm and the views were great! Highly recommend for some good paddle boarding.
