Takeout only, but you won't regret it! Excellent shrimp spring rolls and spicy Chicken Coconut Curry! The Thai Iced Tea is legit too (better than most Thai restaurants!).

I’m so happy I found this place! It was 10pm on a Sunday! The owners were so nice and welcoming! The store is bright and clean! Food looks majah!! I got 2 chicken pho & spring rolls!! Going to try the fried rice next time!! No place to sit and eat so take out and go enjoy at home or the park! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Legit Viet food!!

Best takeout spot. Excellent for Vegans and vegetarians. They know when you ask for vegan style what substitutes to make. I could eat there every day and not go broke, prices are extremely reasonable.

I've been searching far and wide for the best pho on the island, and I have to say that this is probably it! I first tried Aloha years ago when I first PCSed to the island and was living out of a Waikiki hotel. Now living closer in the area, I frequent this restaurant at least twice a month. I pretty much just always get the pho dac biet with an additional side of tendon. Large is pretty sufficient, but the xlarge portion is massive. If you get the pho tai, they give a LOT of rare sliced beef. The broth is super clear and fragrant. Another winner is their fried butter chicken wings. Wow. Wowowoeow is it delicious. It comes with a lemon wedge and salt and pepper to sprinkle on, which just makes the flavor pop. Comes with 7 wings, and is topped with tons of butter sautéed onions. Sometimes I'll get the banana tapioca dessert, which comes with little taro chunks - perfect amount of sweetness. The owners/staff are super friendly and provide great customer service. Note that it's takeout only, no longer serving in-house. Order usually take roughly 20 minutes, but may be longer during dinner rush. I also appreciate that everything is in eco-friendly packaging. Parking is shared among all the other nearby establishments, and can get packed. Highly recommend for takeout!!!

Google
Loved it! Great, authentic food with a good service! Sadly, it’s a takeout only, but loved all the options, from bahn mi to rice dishes and summer rolls. Will definitely be back!

Google
The sweetest husband and wife run this little, now TAKEOUT ONLY, shop. I've been eating here for years and the consistency and quality has never wavered. Lemon beef salad is an absolute must - tons of beef, herbs, garlic, and daikon perfectly seasoned and priced. The chicken wings are also the best I've ever had! Perfectly crispy and juicy, make sure to use a healthy portion of the salt and pepper it comes with to take it to the next level! Parking can be limited, but street parking is also available most times of the day (watch for tow away times on King St. during commuter hours)

So good. So yummy. Omg. I love it there. I get off of work at 10:30pm, so my only options were fast food. UNTIL NOW!

Yelp
This is secretly the best Vietnamese food on island. My niece and I were going to a different restaurant when she stopped, looked at the storefront, and said, "that place is awesome." She has a psychic ability to choose the best dishes on the menu and random restaurants that cross our path. There hasn't been waiting I've ordered it hasn't been incredibly delicious. But the two dishes that I think about the most are the beef salad and the banana tempura. And again, everything is amazing and made with attention and love.

Yelp
Always satisfied ordering their pho. Economically priced and full of flavor. Always down for a good bowl of oho from here

Yelp
I always wanted to try here for lunch, but it was closed and only open for dinner. One day I sat in my car for a while after shopping thinking what I should get for dinner. It finally dawned on me that I've been wanting to try Aloha Vietnamese Foods' Fried chicken wings. My work friend would raved how her and boyfriend just love their crispy fried chicken wings and they liked it the best so it definitely piqued my interest. Asked Jolene L. and her daughter when we were dining at Pho Dynasty where else had good pho and her daughter mentioned Aloha Vietnamese. Jolene L. also mentioned how she liked their Fried chicken wings and the Lemon beef salad too! So Fried Chicken Wings and the Lemon Beef Salad it is! When I've arrived and was waiting, I decided to get the grilled pork sandwich too! I planned to share with mom, since she loves Vietnamese sandwiches. I saw the boiled peanuts sign and I couldn't resist buying a bag too! The boiled peanuts were simple and it seems to had a little salt taste. It was on the softer side than what I'm use to and usually like it a little on the crunchier side. It was a good price. The grilled pork sandwich was good but the crusty bread may make it difficult to bite into. My mom ate it later so I suggested to microwave it a bit. I did love the fried chicken wings and beef salad . I must say, they were right. The chicken was really crispy and not too oily with a good taste. It came with a container of salt and pepper and it could be a very thin layer of butter underneath? Their beef salad was delicious! Aloha Vietnamese Foods is open only for take out and for dinner. I read its own by a husband and wife. Wife does there cooking in the back and husband mentioned to me that before covid his wife had a health issue and they started to open later and later and now only for dinner. The husband who helped me was working so hard taking phone orders and calling them back when it's ready. So grateful they are still open so we can still get their yummy fried chicken wings and beef salad! Just read Peter Y's review and now I want to try the Casserole Pot Pork Belly & Beef Stew! Thank you! Support a local!

Yelp
A must try restaurant! Aloha Vietnamese Food is a family own business that provides its customers with an array of food that is light, fresh, flavorful, and crisp-tasting for a reasonable price. Each bite you take, whether it's from a banh mi, lemon beef salad, pho, or even their porkchop and rice plate. The flavors are consistent and always taste fresh. Take out only. The average wait time for your food to be done would be 15 to 20 minutes, depending on how many items were ordered. Everything on their menu tastes great. I recommend the following items: *Fried chicken wings *lemon beef salad *Thai tea *Vietnamese coffee *combination banh mi *lemongrass chicken banh mi *spring rolls (made in-house) *house fried rice *caramelized Claypot catfish *combination plate *banana tapioca (made inhouse) Inside is clean and organized. Aunty and uncle are the nicest people. Service is good Payment Cash or credit Parking Private lot or street parking (free after 5pm)

Yelp
This is my absolutely FAVORITE vietnamese restaurant. I was so heartbroken that this place turned into a takeout only restaurant (due to covid), however I will support here no matter what. The owners are the sweetest husband and wife ever. I have been coming here since I was a child and I am surprised every time I visit after a long time. It is not only me, he tries maintain a friendly relationship with all of his customers. The prices are extremely affordable and the food is delicious with great portioning. I think it is probably the most affordable vietnamese place I know. Support small businesses! Especially this one :D

Yelp
I Heart Aloha Vietnamese Foods! What a lifesaver! I had just finished working First Friday, and I was hot, dirty, and hungry. I didn't want to sit down and eat, and Zippy's was not appealing but a big bowl of pho was what I really wanted. Yelp "late night bites" and Aloha came up. Tucked away in an unassuming spot, it's take out only, which is great! Ordered #19 brisket and sirloin, XL! and #3 summer rolls. Couldn't wait to get back to my hotel. Everything was soooooo good and hit the spot! I am so glad there's places like this open late for takeout! Mahalo!

Yelp
I called and ordered two noodle dishes, pho and egg noodles. When I got there, my wife said she wanted extra noodles, and I told the owner I wanted extra noodles with both soup dishes, and the owner said okay. When we got home there were no extra noodles and when I called them to complain that we did not get the extra noodles, they said it's too bad but what do they want us to do. I told them they should have gave us what we ordered, and o got this tone that in my opinion they did not care about customer service and fulfilling orders already made.

Yelp
Super friendly Vietnamese family serving up some flavorful Vietnamese food. The chicken curry is DELICIOUS! I especially love dipping toasted baguette in it. Their lemon beef salad is refreshingly tasty and oh-so flavorful. I love finishing it off with their tapioca desserts (banana or taro). Everything is efficiently packed for takeout. They are the kindest people and they stay open considerably late.

Yelp
My new favorite pho place. Per chance we just happened to visit place as we were yelping the dessert shop next door. We were hungry and decided to try the food due to the large number of high yelp reviews. First off..there is no in door dining. Order your food and wait 15 minutes outside. The owner is very friendly and nice. The inside of the shop is basic however the smell of the soup permeates the store. We ordered beef pho and crispy spring rolls. The beef pho was hearty. The soup unexplainably rich and tasty. The offering was ample. The meats and vegetables all in one dish was so filling! The spring rolls were crispy. There was more than enough for my little family. Will definitely return! Looking forward to our next trip!!!

Yelp
This place has been my go-to pho spot since they had dine-in! They're now takeout only, but the food has stayed delicious. Prices aren't cheap but are fair for the portion and quality of food you get. Uncle who works there is always super nice. Food is not speedy but I just call a good 20-30 minutes ahead (they say if it'll be a long wait) and it's always fresh when I get there. The star of the show is the pho broth. It's SO savory and flavorful that I can finish the entire bowl without adding any sauces. Bc of that, I can't recall if they include them with the pho fixings, but there is a sign that says sriracha is available by request so make sure to ask. Again, a good size for the price, and they give a decent amount of bean sprouts, basil and a few jalapeno slices and lemons. The combination pho is my go to and always has a great amount of meat. I recently tried the oxtail and while it was tasty, it was a lot of work getting the last bits of meat off the bone...I'll stick to my combination lol. All the other dishes are also a good size and quality. The lemon beef salad is piled high and has plenty of rare beef along with all the fixings. Vermicelli dishes are also a good size and their bbq chicken is one of my favs, so tender and flavorful. Staples like the papaya salad, spring rolls and summer rolls are straightforward but stick to their good quality. The only catch is that their very nearby competitor has the best crack sauce I've ever had...iykyk. Aloha Vietnamese's crack sauce is mild, which some people might prefer. I think a crushed garlic clove and some chili would take it from a 8.2 to a 10/10. Oo, and their chicken wings are so underrated. They're fat, crispy and juicy and tossed in onions and butter. Definitely use the included lemon and seasoning salt.

Yelp
Very delicious. Big serving size and low cost. If you're craving authentic Vietnamese food, Aloha Vietnamese Foods is the spot.

Yelp
GET THE FRIED CHICKEN WINGS! You won't regret it. Best wings I have ever tasted. It was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The flavor was on point and they include onions, lemon and containers of pepper and salt too. I have also tried their chicken curry with banh mi and that was delicious as well. Small mom and pop shop and I'm glad to support! It's currently only take-out, but no complaints about that. I usually just call in my order ahead of time (15-20+ min before) and it's usually always ready by the time I get there. I'd say this is my top Vietnamese restaurant!

Yelp
Hahahahah!!! I just realized I've been here a few times and have NEVER taken a picture of the food :-/ OMG! That's a super über rare thing as even if I do start before my phone I somehow capture it but something must've been in the noodles cause my hangry mood kicked it into a trance mode and I have no proof of my bliss. Located in Old Stadium Square parking is the biggest challenge as other businesses it shares with vs stall are sadly off kilter. Sadly and probably at its convenience it's take out only and has kept it's covid system exactly as is, no seating whatsoever with very minimalist decor it is best to call ahead since everything is made to order and does take awhile but is so worth the wait. Absolutely friendly staff always ready for any questions and are patient, as I do always get something veggie here he makes sure if egg or other items typically comes with the dish is acceptable for me which is great as I do have allergies and clarity is always gratefully appreciated. I always get the Pad Thai which isn't they dry type and is a bit more saucy but is just on point and delicious always...they do have a lot of signage which may seem extreme but knowledge is a wonderful thing and it's who doesn't like something that's freshly made. You know I gotta go back to show what keeps me coming back besides having some great late night hours (5pm to midnight) and are closed on Thursdays and I promise to let my phone eat first...lmao! Thank you!

Yelp
Honestly I didn't even know there was a pho restaurant here until this one time maybe a good 5 years ago or so a coworker of mine told me about this place. We came here after work from the restaurant and wanted like late night food. He told me there's a really good pho restaurant and so we went. This was when they had a couple of tables for dine in but now it is only take out since Covid. The pho here is also really good! This is definitely another one of my favorite places to get take out pho right now. I don't get to come here as often since they are usually only opened at night for take out so most times I would be dining in or having home cooked meals but every now and then when we do wanna get something for take out and in the area we would go here. I am a very big fan of pho as that is my second favorite food to eat! They have a really large selection on their menu for such a small restaurant it is very impressive! I had recently just ordered take out from them last night because the other half wanted the Vietnamese beef stew with the bread. Not all Vietnamese restaurants serve this dish and so when I saw that they had it I was very happy! I called it in advance which it takes about 15 minutes or so to prepare, so by the time I got there it was almost ready! The people there are very friendly and nice and I really appreciate them a lot! As I was driving with my piping hot beef stew and bread, it decided to tip over and so the cover gave out and the soup was spilling in the bag. I had turned around and went back to the restaurant to ask if they could kindly provide a new container for me because it tipped over and soup was pouring out. They were so kind enough to change out my container and this time tape the cover down as well. I really appreciate it and felt really bad and embarrassed that this has happened. But this just shows you how they really care about their customers and would kindly do that for you without any complaints! If you haven't tried this place and live down by Moilili/University area, I would highly recommend! Their food and very delicious and they are open from 5pm to midnight as well so great for late night cravings as well!!

Yelp
Good for late night, but kind of skimpy for the price. I ordered a bbq chicken/spring roll plate that was $15 and they gave me one scoop rice that was smashed down with one piece of chicken breast that was small and one spring roll. I was a little irritated coming home and seeing that because in the other pictures it had 2 rolls and the plate looked more filled. The sandwiches are normal though. I recommend those lol Its takeout only.

Yelp
Best Vietnamese on the island! Nicest owners as well. Spicy beef noodle soup and summer rolls are the best

Yelp
Takeout dinner in Honolulu, Hawaii... Aloha Vietnamese Foods is located in Old Stadium Square. This cozy restaurant shares the parking lot with businesses such as Tori Ton, Golden Eagle, Lunar Tea, and Niu Soft-Serve. I wanted to takeout something that I could eat in the theater. I ordered Summer Rolls and Lemongrass Chicken Bahn Mi over the phone and was told that my food would be ready in about 20 minutes. I arrived early and was greeted by a sweet young gal. She had a bright smile and said that my order was ready! Yay! I opened the package and took photos - wow - everything looked delicious! Too bad I ended up not eating during the movie because I thought that the package and foil would make too much noise. I also figured out that it would be too difficult to pour the sauce onto the Summer Rolls in the dark. Even dipping them into the sauce would be messy... Uhg! I ate the Summer Rolls at home... Yes!!! Yummy and fresh! The lemongrass chicken Bahn Mi had great flavor, too! I enjoyed the pickled veggies, also! I'll have to return for the vermicelli and more Summer Rolls! I should probably try the Grilled pork and Kalbi, too!

Yelp
Our second time ordering from here and the food is soooooo good. Portions are perfect and the flavors are exactly what you want in Vietnamese food. 10/10 would recommend. We have had the vegetarian pho with veggies, lemongrass tofu vermicelli and the spring rolls. Family run with super kind owners. So stoked we found a good pho spot after our last one closed.
google avatar

Rich M.

Yelp
Great small restaurant serves really terrific pho and other Vietnamese dishes. Small operation with wife doing most of the cooking and they are so friendly every time we see them.
google avatar

Sharon L.

Yelp
Good spring rolls but the bun rice noodle portion size is too small. About half the portion size of most other Thai places. Grilled pork was dry and didn't taste freshly made for the dish. Not enough greens and lettuce with both dishes. We eat dinner and lunch out 4-5 days a week and don't mind spending on food that is prepared with fresh ingredients and presented well and have standard to generous portions. We are NOT big eaters, but we feel that if we spend $20-30 on a noodle dish that the noodles are the least expensive item to be generous with. I think that restaurants need to really think about customer experiences with every dish that they sell. I would return weekly to a restaurant that had consistent, clean, tasty and generous portions. We will probably not return after trying this after reading all of the reviews. I think Pho Bistro 2 and Pho Saigon are both better at the same dishes.

Hosky ..

Yelp
I love the family owners as much as I love the food... and their Vietnamese dishes are literally the best I've ever had so far (on island.. haven't been to Bietnam yet ) you must try this place more than once since they have plenty of tasty dishes!!
google avatar

Yelp
Best pho on the island! Flavor is great, portions are big. We come multiple times a month! Their brisket pho and chicken wings are to die for! Staff is friendly. They can get quite busy but the person at the register still greets everyone with a smile and keeps everyone updated on their orders. They are only doing take out right now, but that's ok because I think if they did sit down people would be waiting for hours, that's how good their food is!

Erik S.

Yelp
The food is delicious and reasonably priced! The beef salad and fried chicken wings are a must!
google avatar

Jolene L.

Yelp
There's a few restaurants that offer beef salad, but if you want the best beef salad, look no further! Every time we order beef salad from here, it is consistent and amazing. Fresh lettuce, thinly sliced onion, herbs, and perfectly/delicately "cooked" beef. The delicious beef salad is gently mixed with love and topped with chopped peanuts. This tastes so good that we don't even need the sauce packed with it. Their pho is also delicious. You can tell that their authentic broth has been simmering in all the traditional spices. It is flavorful and not salty. Again, it is consistently delicious every time we order pho from here. We also ordered the lemongrass tofu over vermicelli noodles. While it comes with fish sauce to use with the noodles and fresh veggies, the lemongrass tofu had lots of extra sauce, too. This was good and such a generous serving! We will likely order other menu items to go before we leave. As you can tell from other reviews, we are not the only ones enjoying the food here :)

Yelp
Mom & Pop place. Take out only. COVID restrictions have been lifted for a while and they do not have plans to resume dine in service. Mom is the only cook and she makes everything to order. So if they are busy, you might wait a while for your food. Most patrons phone in their order so it rarely looks busy from the outside. The easiest way to place a phone order is start with the number listed on their menu. For example: Beef Stew * Spicy (15 minutes) 36 ...Beef Stew w/ Rice $15. 37 ...Beef Stew w/ Rice noodle $16. 38 ...Beef Stew w/ Egg noodle $16. 39 ...Beef Stew w/ Pho noodle $16. 40 ...Beef Stew w/ Bread $16.50 "Number 40, Beef Stew w/ bread and a side order of egg noodle ($4.)" The #40 beef stew is thicker, accompanied by one Banh mi size French bread to sop up the stew. When I finish my bread, I pour the remaining stew over my egg noodles. This order feeds two people. If I ordered #37,#38,#39 Beef stew w/ noodles, it would be a thiner beef stew because the stew is place in soup noodles. *Spicy - I'm a wimp when it comes to chili peppers. The beef stew spices does not have a chili burn to it but is very flavorful. #108 SPICY Beef Noodles $13.50 has a chili pepper kick to it. (This dish is more renowned at Bac Nam but I still think Aloha Vietnam version is good.) Other dishes I frequently order are: #8 Fried Chicken Wings $12. Crispy wings with onion & butter. Make sure you squeeze the lemon over it and sprinkle the salt & pepper before you take a bite. #11 Lemon Beef Salad *Spicy $16.50 I often order one shrimp chip and heap the beef salad over it. It's like eating a Vietnamese tostada. (Shrimp chips are an off the menu item, sold by the piece, from Vietnam, not always available.) #42 Chicken Coconut Curry with Rice noodles. $15.50 #58 -#61 Crispy Egg Noodles (15 minutes) This takes CRISPY noodles to the next level!!! If you don't have a set of good teeth to chomp away, you might want to pass on this. All the different gravy's are yummy & hot. The take out container they provide is barely sufficient so I bring my 4 cups Pyrex container and pour the gravy all over the noodles when I get home. The following dishes have been a hit with Kapunas & friends: #16-#25 Pho - If you are on a cardiac diet, it is difficult to eat out. Too much salt makes your ankles and fingers swollen. Ajinomoto - heart palpation, dry mouth. Guess what? These people love the pho here. No swelling, palpations or dry mouth. I asked Mom if she adds salt & MSG, she said, "Yes but very little bit." Hint: Pho taste better hot. When you get home, reboil broth, then pour it over the noodles. Then toss in the basal & bean sprouts. #24 Oxtail Pho & #65 Oxtail Soup with Rice - If you're a fan of oxtail soup at Asahi Grill or Kam Bowl, you can pass on the oxtail here. #90 Caramelized Claypot Catfish, When they had dine in service, I notice a lot of Vietnamese people ordered this dish. Now I bring a small clay pot when I order this. 25-45mins later its is all bubbling when it comes out of the kitchen and thickens as it cools. The catfish has a very distinctive flavor that you will love or hate. If I had to subtract a star from here, it would be for ambiance but I have seen Mom & Pop cleaning in the kitchen at 2am.

Yelp
Friendly service. Large food portion. I order Spring roll and 2 Pho. I came from Houston and was surprised with the food here.

Yelp
We were on the hunt for some good local cheap Vietnamese place in the area. After multiple recommendations we wanted to put this place to the test. First, service was good and it's a family owned business. One con I'll say is everything is takeout only, so this made it a different experience eating the soups like the pho after driving it home. Quality of food was fresh and food portions. Priced about about normal/maybe tad bit higher than I'm used to. The menu is extensive and you can really find everything on here. We were searching for banh xeo but that was the one item they didn't have. Overall very good and would return to try other things !

Yelp
Parking: same lot as kozo sushi. I have never had a problem finding a stall here ! Service: the cashiers are very friendly and the service was great. Food: I ordered the banh mi both times I came (the regular and the grilled pork). Both were delicious. I wish there was more parsley though instead of just the stems. Wait time: this is where I had to remove a star. Both times I was quoted 25/30 minutes. But both times it was not ready in 25/30 minutes and I had to wait an additional 15 minutes. So overall not a bad place if you're craving Vietnamese food but be prepared to wait longer than quoted.

Diane N.

Yelp
I had a big order, and they were very accommodating. Their chicken wings, spring rolls, and beef lemongrass salad were so tasty! I also had their pho, and that was very tasty!!

Yelp
Food is delicious. Everything is made fresh to order by aunty. There's no dine in, so togo only. I'd call ahead for pickups since they get busy. The bun mam was so good, so flavorful.. only thing it was missing was banana flower and shredded on choi.

Lia S.

Yelp
Awesome ! Love their fried spring rolls ! Their pho was flavorful! Open til midnight! Awesome awesome awesome!

Yelp
Food is fairly priced and portion is great as well! Friendly small family business. Best Vietnamese food in town! Restaurant is super clean although there is no dine-in and just take out. Wait time for food is not long either! Highly recommend!!

Yelp
I am soooo happy I found a Vietnamese restaurant at 11 o'clock at night on Christmas day. I thought I was running out of luck to find a restaurant to eat at. I thought I was going to have to resort to Ramen noodles or my mac & cheese that I've been saving. However this place said they're open till midnight and I am so happy that I am able to eat Vietnamese food at this hour on Christmas day.
google avatar

Yelp
TAKE OUT ONLY. Don't make the mistake we did. Good as a healthier alternative to late night fast food runs. Prices are equivalent to actual sit down restaurants so that part of the value equation is not there. For example small Pho is $13. Big Pho is $16. Portions are of average size. Food is good.
google avatar

Anyssa R.

Yelp
If you're looking for a good late night family owned and operated spot , here it is! I ordered the lemon grass tofu and add a veggie spring roll. Ive been twice already and plan on trying out the other items on the huge menu. They have a whole page full of vegetarian options as well!

Yelp
It's a little hole in the wall type of place...Literally. Hours are 5pm to Midnight and it's take out only, both of which work really well for me. Agree with others that it's best to call in your order and then pick up to decrease wait time. I've had their BBQ Pork sandwich, Grilled pork sandwich and their fried chicken wings. The fried chicken wings were glorious, 8 lightly battered and crispy wings sitting on top of a bed of onions. I love onions so this was perfect for me. They have a small cup of a salt and pepper seasoning mixture which complimented the chicken well. I will definitely be ordering this again. The sandwiches were delicious. Fresh baguette and ingredients. They did not disappoint. Also had their banana tapioca pudding which was good but not necessarily something I'd order again. I tried their #40 beef stew with baguette on both occasion. It was on the pricer side for the smaller bowl and came with one baguette. But it was enough for one and I thoroughly enjoyed. It was spicy but not overly spicy. About 6 decently size pieces of meat with carrots and onions. Soupy broth to dip your baguette. I look forward to trying soon like the lemon grass beef salad

Yelp
Our favorite Vietnamese restaurant by far!! They only do take out, are really friendly, and take pride in their food. Everything we've ordered is spot on, especially the Lemon Beef Salad and Combination Pho...Winnas \m/

Yelp
This is our goto spot in our neighborhood. Owner is very friendly and the food is delicious. We normally get the beef salad and pork vermicelli. They are open later than a lot of other businesses which also helps when you get off of work late too.

Yelp
Had this spot on my radar for the longest time! Finally decided to try it out. Stayed relatively close to here, so I ended up walking to AVF. They do have parking, but the lot definitely gets filled quickly with all the food around. I called ahead to save some time. I ordered the XL combo pho and the house special pork chop rice plate. I enjoyed their pho! Fit perfectly in a 60oz bowl. They packaged everything well, separating the raw meat from the cooked. They only do takeout. They did mention their soup was very hot and to be careful. Even though it was hot, I usually like to reheat my soup back home so the raw meat and cook through. Pork chop plate was good too, with a lot of variety. Will be back next time I'm in town!

Yelp
Aug 2023 no indoor seating, takeout only. Call in an order for efficiency as the parking lot can be crowded and pickup is speedy. Bright and clean indoors. Always consistent and delicious. I enjoy their spring roll as it's tightly wrapped, filled, and fried to perfection. I'll also order the fried shrimp appetizer from time to time (I recommend it). I'll order bun instead of pho when I want some of cool veggies, which are always fresh. I've never had fried chicken like this anywhere else, like it's wrapped in a delicious crackling crust. Can order without onions. Papaya salad isn't spicy but it's tasty to eat multiple times over!

Yelp
Late night Vietnamese take out??? Yesssssssss you can get it here!! My BF and I have the unfortunate syndrome of being later-than-usual dinner eaters. We frequently have dinner at 8:00 PM or later (yes, that's probably why I'm gaining weight, whatevssss), but we hardly crave fast food late at night. Aloha Vietnamese Foods provides a healthier late night option for us and it's refreshing to be able to enjoy carefully packed take out. Sometimes Vietnamese restaurants don't pack their food properly/ carefully and it really makes take out a mood kill. For example, AVF packs our "saucy" items in reusable plastic containers and some of the drier items in paper take out boxes. For items that are sticky, they plastic wrap it which helps keep the food more moist and won't break apart when eating. I know plastic wrap is bad for the environment and all that, but I don't like it when my summer rolls get crusty or stick to the paper boxes. It's these little things that matter to me... like getting papaya salad in a plastic reusable container and not a paper box that'll leak all over the place. In the last month, we've frequented AVF at least 3 times. Although it's not the same as Moms cooking, it's tasty and doesn't come with a helping of nagging and high filial expectations!!

Yelp
COVID-ERA takeout review I know this business has been here for a long time but their somewhat limited hours never quite seemed to line up correctly for me or I remembered at the wrong time or the wrong day of the week. I was happy to finally get the chance to try last month. Placing my order by phone was easy. They've got an extensive menu including some items that are less common among the more local-leaning Vietnamese spots. I took it as a good sign that the menu was in Vietnamese with English translations below and not the other way around. As it turns out, my order didn't end up being particularly adventurous so I'll just need to go back again to try more things. I love Vietnamese meatloaf and shredded pork with pork skin and want to try the combo that has both with some other yummy sounding dishes too. Spring Rolls - 3 for $6, seemed kinda pricey to me though these were very good with more meat than usual in the filling. Grilled Pork & Shrimp Patty with Vermicelli -- pork was super tasty, pounded shrimp was good. I'd like a stronger fish sauce but that could just be me. Sliced cukes and veggies were very clean and fresh. BBQ Chicken over Rice -- this plate was not for me and I didn't get to try it. The eater said it was "ok." Not sure exactly what that means but I'm guessing that other people might be smarter to order the tastier- sounding Lemongrass Chicken plate instead. And, hey, this place was SPOTLESS and borderline neurotic during COVID. Signs and directions were everywhere! Smelled like soap in there. They even hold the credit card machine for you so you can insert your own card without them touching it. Very reassuring!
