Great experience overall, David was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I wanted to try out a variety of Japanese whiskies while I was in town and David gave me some killer recommendations that blew my mind. Not to mention they also have their own private bottlings! They were amazing and I picked up one of each that were available. I will definitely be recommending this bar to all of my friends and family.

Amazing whisky bar in tokyo. The owner david is from hawaii and speaks english and japanese. He has an extensive collection of scotch, japanese, bourbon, and dusty bourbon. His offerings are always rotating. If you are a beginner or a connoisseur, he has something for everyone, even spouses that don't like whisky, he'll get your partner taken care of. He makes delicious cocktails, try his sesame whisky sour cocktail. If you don't know what you want, ask about his whisky omakase experience where he guides you through 10 tastings. Aloha whisky is on the 3rd floor, and the space is small, so make sure to message him at @Alohawhisky on instagram, or any of his social media platforms. The bar can fill up very quickly. Mahalo! Fyi, ask to try his single barrel's of whisky. Unique and some great bottles you can't find in stores if you want a super special souvenir.

For the many times I’ve been here, this review is overdue. Aloha whisky is a treasure trove of all whisk(e)y. I make it a pit stop everytime I’m in Tokyo. David and his staff are so kind and knowledgeable and can easily recommend a hit after hit after hit. I know when I’m visiting this bar I’m drinking multiple tastings. My favs are the Japanese whiskies not easily found and the bourbon. Slowly I’m learning to drink more and more scotch. I didn’t realize how much David expands on his offerings, my last visit- I learned he makes cocktails too now. So I find myself double fisting.

I've been to many whisky bars and so far this is my favorite in the whole of Japan. The owners are actually American and from Hawaii so if you're a tourist it's quite refreshing to be able to communicate everything clearly in English. If you want quality and top notch selections in all types of whiskey then just make a visit. And the price is also very reasonable too.

What an incredible bar! As a whisky lover, this is definitely one of the best! From the moment you walk in, you see this incredible wall full of very interesting whiskys, a huge range for everyone’s taste. Some unique gems, exclusive bottles available. Service was amazing, the gentlemen at the bar was very knowledgeable and friendly! Highly recommend it! Definitely coming back soon.

No food here just some cashews. Excellent whisky selection, epic pours you won't find anywhere else for a very reasonable price. The owner/bartender is friendly and knowledgeable. We always make an effort to go when in Japan.

My group was very new to the world of whisky but the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. They have a very wide selection to try. Wonderful atmosphere as well. I was here last year and I can’t wait to go back the next time I’m in Japan! I’ll be recommending this place to anyone visiting Japan. Very tourist friendly
