Delightfully charming spot for lunch and a wine tasting. Fabulous wine and small but deliciously seasonal and fresh menu. Atmosphere is hard to beat.

This place is beautiful to visit and great for people who like to try a bit more experimental food. They don’t really serve a lot of simple Tyrolian dishes here. We had risotto with ox liver, a pricey (and quite simple) salad and the ox heart. For my taste the ox heart was sliced a bit too thick. But it was a nice experience. The wine and drink selection is great and the service very professional, knowledgeable and attentive. They also have a shop where you can buy wine, plates and some Demeter groceries.

Very nice place in old part of town. Has it’s own parking just in front of restaurant. Food is fantastic, far above expectation and wine above fantastic “grade”. There are lot of place to sit inside and also an outside part to drink something and for smokers. Ambient is mystic, especially outside cause the whole restaurant, wine tasting part and backyard is “medieval” houshold.

Tucked away and reservations highly recommend, this intimate and beautiful place should make your list. We planned to spend the rainy day exploring the wine road and stopped by a few places. Alois Lageder Paradeis offered a tasting of 6 wines for 10 Euro and we were lucky to get a table for lunch too. The menu is modest, but fresh from their garden and simply delicious.

We did a vineyard and winery tour along with tasting, hosted by Fabian. The tour was great and wines are really exceptional, but the real highlight was Fabian - he is a special person with extensive knowledge of wine and deep passion for expanding and sharing it. A real gem of an individual.

Recommended by our hotel in Bolzano, they had an excellent lunch served outside on the patio. Busy, so best to make reservations and not the easiest place to find either. Food was very good, and the wine too!

Our favorite place to stop, eat and shop for wine, olive oil and other high quality goodies. Beautiful location, patio and the interior.

Great tour and tasting, our guide Luca was very cool. The mix of the very old and newer buildings is impressive. Delicious wines with some interesting library selections. Recommend booking ahead.
