What an incredible store. The alpaca products are of the highest quality and the owners knowledge of all things alpaca and Peru and it's people are beyond compare. Truly a fantastic place. Can't wait to come back and experience the picnic with the alpacas and talk more about Peru and it's artisans with Amanda.

I love the store. I just bought an alpaca wool beanie.And it’s amazing. IHave previously bought several things here including the amazing alpaca stuffy’s which are super expensive and super worth it. There are great sweaters and jewelry it’s a perfect boutique if you were looking and sisters for unique gifts. Highly recommended. There are some exceptional and impeccable products here.

AMAZING!!! If I can give this store 10 stars I would! The merchandise is amazing! My husband and I bought 2 throws for our home and socks and beanies and we love these so much we’ve been gifting items from Alpaca by Design to family and friends for Christmas and occasions. My daughter has stuffed animals and ornaments from here also and they are her prized possessions. By far, best store in Sisters. The customer service is superb as well, which always helps to create a wonderful experience all around!

Such a delightful store! I purchased some of the stuffed animals made out of baby alpaca fur and they are THE most precious things ever. Honestly, the softest material I’ve ever touched. My son adores them and they make perfect gifts for anyone in your life but especially children. The owners are incredibly gracious and welcoming. We also did the Alpaca Picnic they offer and cannot say enough good things about our experience.

An absolutely delightful shop and the sweetest owner! My mom and I are sewists and we fell in love with everything we saw and touched. I have made felted wool hats for over 25 years, but I had to buy myself this stunning tam. I've received compliments everywhere I go ^L^

Great experience! I called to ask what colors of alpaca socks they had in stock and spoke with Rachel. She could not have been more helpful and told me about a new color - bright turquoise - that wasn’t online yet. I’d intended to buy two pairs but had such a pleasant experience, I bought a third pair. Rachel said she’d mail them that day, and they arrived at my home on the East Coat three day later - wow! Exceptional customer service - oh, and the socks are awesome - super soft and beautiful!

A must see when you visit Sisters, OR. This store is amazing and if you don't own anything made with Alpaca fleece, please hurry to this location and buy something. I would have never thought this material would be so soft and silky BUT IT IS AND it is super durable. There is something for everyone -- socks, gloves, hats, scarves, sweaters, skeins of yarn, stuffies, jewelry and much more. Don't take my word for it, go check it out for yourself and then come back here and tell everyone how wonderful Alpaca By Design in Sisters, Oregon really is. Enjoy!

What a nice store- quality knitted gorgeous shawls, wraps, and lovely jewelry. It's wonderful to see so much in one store. Alpaca is so versatile, light and warm!

I have ONE day to come to this store from seattle (I love Alpaca!!) and I know their winter hours are shortened ... so I'm rushing to get there before they close at 4:30 ... I get there at 3:55 and lights out closed. How does one run a store if they don't go by posted business hours! I wouldn't shop here !! You can go online and buy or buy from the alpaca store in Annapolis (they've shipped to me directly)

I love everything at Alpaca by Design. I have received several very treasured gifts from this store and I have purchased several beautiful items as gifts. It may seem that the prices are high, but the items of are the highest quality and will last forever. The owner is an awesome guy.

Wonderful unique special store in Sisters. The look and feel of alpaca is always warm and luxurious. Weavers especially Steve the weaver create magical wearable items. Especially during this pandemic staying warm and safe feels better while wearing a cool sweater.

I'm obsessed by alpaca. Maybe not obsessed, but I find it cool wool. In clothing, my selection process is all about tactile. That is why online does not work for me. I'm strongly visual too; a picture on a screen is a poor substitute for seeing something in person. Alpaca by Design imports sweaters and scarves, a few other items, from the Inca highlands of South America. Where alpacas are native. Think angora texture. There are some very beautiful brightly dyed items, almost luminous, which work well with the fine texture of alpaca fiber. All at reasonable prices. If you are a texture person, who is also visual, and you prefer natural fibers (and you are in Sisters, Oregon), Alpaca by Design is worth a visit.

We love Sisters, it is our favorite vacation spot that is close to us. Every time we are here we have to stop at Alpaca by Design. The owner is so nice and so helpful! He has the largest selection of Alpaca Bears, my daughter loves them. She has 5 bears, if that shows how often we go to his store.

Great store full of good quality merchandise. The owner was very knowledgeable and friendly. I found a beautifully made alpaca scarf for a good price and my child found the softest cloud-like alpaca "teddy bear" which the owner combed and fluffed before handing it to him. He was delighted!

Beautiful shop in Sisters Oregon filled with wonderful treasures. The colors and textures are a delight. The shop owner is very courteous and attentive. Don't miss this shop!
