I had a lovely stay at this hotel 😊 really nice room with a seating area, lovely and clean. Very friendly personnel. Great breakfast, freshly squeezed orange juice, choice of coffees.. Very central location. Just 4 mins walk from the main station, easy walking distant to the Frauenkirche, Marienplatz, Shopping area… I can highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Munich

Oktoberfest visit. This hotel is located a 3 minute walk from the main railway station and about 15 minutes from the Oktoberfest site.||Was very lucky to get an early check-in despite the hotel being so busy due to the event. Staff were pleasant and helpful throughout.||The room itself was clean and the bed comfortable. Not the best TV and generally a tiny bit dated or, of course, it may reflect the style of the region. The shower area was however very good.||Located in an area at night that you need to keep alert so just be aware.

Very, very pleasant experience in every aspect. We booked 3 Deluxe Double (Alpenchic) rooms for our group a few days ago. The 3 rooms look a little unique, but all appear to have been recently renovated, have very good size in European standards, have well designed and functional layouts, and are clean and very well lit. The front desk and the breakfast staff were all very pleasant and provided excellent services. The breakfast selections and food quality were very, very good; we particularly liked the fresh fruit selections and the self-service fresh squeezed orange juice. The hotel location is conveniently located within easy walking distance to all downtown/old town attractions, restaurants and cafes, and supermarket.

If this was advertised as a 3 star hotel, the review would have been a positive one as the things you expect for a 3 star were fine - comfy bed, nice and clean, good choice for continental breakfast and friendly staff. This is a 4 star though so your expectations are higher and these were not met:|Small, thin hard towels in the bathroom|No coffee/tea making in room unless you asked for a kettle! You then had to collect the kettle as there are no staff to deliver it|Cooked breakfast had very limited choice|No individual toiletries - all in 1 body wash/shampoo/conditioner - and this was a "no brand" and was poor.|Bedroom had 3 small "steps" - into room, into bathroom and into the bedroom itself - if you had mobility issues this would be difficult.||The location and distance to the main tourist areas of the old town was good but the nearby location was not somewhere we liked walking at night when returning to the hotel.|The price we paid was ok for what we got - but 4 star raised your expectations!

Perfect location if you arrive by train and need to lug your bags around as is very close to the central station. Staff were lovely and the rooms were quiet and cool. Also location for old town excellent. Would definitely recommend.

On arrival we were offered an upgrade for €160 as our Classic Comfort Double Room "hadn’t been refurbished." We declined only to find our room was a twin (two single beds pushed together), not the double we had booked based on picture on website. 2 staff members insisted this was a double, despite the separate frames & mattresses moving apart easily—clearly not suitable for a couple. When we made this point, we were told there were no true doubles left in that category, and needed to pay €80 to upgrade to one. Staff claimed the twin setup was “better” and “preferred by German guests,” which made little sense if we had to pay extra to avoid it. We refused to pay more for what we had already booked. Sadly, it meant sacrificing comfort. Overall, it felt like an upselling tactic rather than an honest welcome. We weren’t asking for a free upgrade—just what we’d paid for.
