Whilst not in the best of areas the hotel is very near the station and is central for all trips. The staff were wonderful and always friendly, helpful and happy. We were in Munich (our second visit) for the Christmas markets and being able to returm to a hot gluhwein drink on a cold night was a lovely touch with cosy tasteful decor to sit in. Bedrooms are simple, comfy and very clean. We loved the green approach they have such as having a free drink instead of having your room cleaned for a day. Breakfast choice was excellent and plentiful with both hot and cold food. If we return to Munich we would stay here again.

Exceeded expectations. Conveniently located by the train station off a busy street but was a quiet respite. The room was a nice size, very clean, with good bedding. Unlike most of Europe, the room temp could be controlled and we could set it to cool which was great for the unseasonably warm temps. Loved the free water & juice on offering too. Was by far my fave hotel of my European vacation.

The hotel is near the main train station, making it great for sightseeing and exploring Munich. It is, however, located on the less salubrious side of the station. The room key has a fob to allow guests to enter through the main doors when the reception is closed. |The rooms are reasonably spacious, with a work desk and comfortable chairs but mine had a very small bathroom - shower, loo and mini wash basin. There was a larger sink in my room, which reminded me of student accommodation rather than a reasonably expensive hotel.|There were plenty of plug sockets but no usb ports and the bedside tables were solid 'pedestals' i.e. no storage space. There was storage in the wardrobe with hanging space and shelving, though. (Maybe it's me? - l like drawer space!)

The room and bed was comfortable. The best part was the staff. The breakfast staff was friendly, efficient and very pleasant. The reception staff went out of their way to help us through a stressful situation The morning we were to leave. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed for two nights. Bed was medium firm (just nice for us) but the two pillows per pax were very soft. We had to fold them to create the thickness.||Bathroom is spacious. Floor tiles can be heated up. Water pressure is good.||We were able to top up water at its level 1 area, and to help ourselves to some fruits left there in the evening. ||Location to HBF is good. We will stay here in future if we come here.

Soft pillows and comfy bed. The desk attendants were super friendly 24/7. I recommend if you work remote because there is a ln in-room desk and lovely patio on the ground floor. ||Other than that, I would say the drink prices and snacks were very reasonable

Plus: - close to the train station (Hauptbahnhof) - fixtures and fittings are of high quality Cons: - the immediate area is awful, run down and very sketchy (and I have stayed in Harlem NY and Soho London), there is no way I would have let my wife walk around alone at night, shish bars, strip clubs, gambling halls, its a very stark contrast to the high end hotel, also a ton of construction noise - the bar was never open, day or night - the only time you saw anyone was at breakfast, which at 22Eu/$24 is pricey and you can get a great, cheaper selection just 2mins away in the underground (believe me it is way better than it sounds - we even found a great Sushi place there - yes really!) - the rooms are tiny and yes I get it, major city what do you expect, same as London, NY etc but be prepared, you can only edge around the bed and only one person can be in the bathroom - which is smaller than most homes toilet only room - expensive - as above the quality of the interior is very high but given that all I care about in my hotel is my room, the immediate location/surroundings and the reception/bar it was way overpriced - we were paying over $500 a night - sure it's cheaper when it's not Oktoberfest but still, they could offer me it for half that next year and I wouldn't return Don't be fooled by the lovely pictures - you have been warned!
