I stayed here for two nights with my girlfriend and 8-year-old son while touring Switzerland. This hotel is incredible!
It's a little off the beaten path; just far enough from the crowds of tourists and up a hill to get a sense of quiet and solitude and offer great views, but easily accessible to the Main Street in town with just three minutes' walking.
There is a surprisingly spacious parking lot out front given the tightness of the region.
Our room was spacious, clean, with lots of storage space and a mini bar and fridge. There was also a bench and table with two chairs directly outside of our room to enjoy the view.
The restaurant downstairs is excellent as well. Picture a Swiss chalet in the mountains and this is probably what you're imagining. Wood trim, fire place in the corner, giant cowbells on the walls, etc. the breakfast included was an excellent spread of breads, cheeses, meats, cereals, etc.
We loved it and would recommend this to anyone staying in Grindelwald!
