My parents, brother and I stayed here two nights ago. The chalet’s location is truly spectacular; we could see Jungfrau right from our room and were surrounded by nature and peaceful silence. Unfortunately, the accommodations themselves fell short. The atmosphere felt more like a hostel than a chalet, as the walls were thin enough to hear our neighbors, one bed had a broken slat, the sheets were rough, and the pillowcases were noticeably worn out.
We appreciated having a private bathroom, but its design was impractical. The sink was tiny and placed directly under a cupboard, which made it impossible to wash your face without splashing water all over the floor. On the positive side, the shower had excellent water pressure and was spotless, as was the toilet.
We paid €315 for the room, and while we understand that Switzerland is expensive, we expected significantly higher quality for this price. In the end, the main highlight was the view and location. I would only recommend this property to travelers who are comfortable with hostel-like conditions at a five-star price.
