Alpensia Ski Resort

"Direct booking offered poor value compared to Trip.com" I stayed for 3 nights in a Standard Room booked via the official website. I was disappointed to find that for the same price, Trip.com offered a Slope View and better cancellation terms. Despite contacting customer service, I was given a room with a poor view. Pros: Clean rooms, very close to the ski resort (convenient). Cons: > * No bidet in the bathroom. Breakfast was just okay, not excellent. Ski Rental: The restrooms at the rental area were dirty. Also, returning equipment every day is a hassle; there should be a better storage system for multi-day guests. Overall, booking via the official site felt like a disadvantage. I recommend checking third-party sites before booking here.

Good ski resort and we did snowboarding there. Equipment rental, lift pass and clothing rentals are available via the ticket office. No option to buy other accessories like knee pads or cushions for beginners. Only one pop-up shop is available where they sell goggles, snow gloves, Balaclava, etc. See the brochure I got from IntContinental in attached photos. Come early around 9am. Long lift queues after lunch time when all day-trippers come in.

An absolutely outstanding ski school experience! We had the joy of skiing and snowboarding with our wonderful instructor, Valentina (Cudly) during a 2-hour session on our second day at the resort, and she completely elevated our holiday. Her laughter has this delightful ability to ripple through the cold air like a little power-up for the soul. Pair that with her friendly, approachable manner and a natural affinity with children, and you get a truly remarkable instructor. We were so impressed that we entrusted our 8-year-old to her for multiple sessions over the following days. He felt totally safe, genuinely encouraged, and came out of each class buzzing with excitement and asking, without fail, “Can I learn more from her tomorrow?” She has this rare talent for weaving fun and professionalism into one seamless glide, making every turn, stop, and tumble feel like part of an adventure rather than a lesson. To the Korean and international staff at the ski school: huge thank you as well! You handled our many questions and booking changes with such patience and helpfulness. Behind every great ski day is a team that keeps things running smoothly, and you truly made our experience effortless. Grateful for the warmth, the guidance, and the hospitality. We’ll be back for sure. ⛷️❄️🏂

There were quite a lot of food options and the skiing was really fun. We got a really good coach.

We went here just at the start of fall so there's no snow yet but it was already cold. There's a verbena field in front of the ticket booth and it was beautiful for photos. We took the ski lift up and saw you can see the the view down below. There's also another verbena flower farm up there and a cafe. We took the Alpine Coaster going down and it was so fun! I drove the coaster by myself and it can go up to 40km per hour. It was so much fun, I would love to do it again. The coaster is only available before winter. They close it down when the snow starts to fall or when it's raining. I bet this is a beautiful ski resort in the winter and I probably will be back.

Amazing slopes, soft snow, had an amazing time, was able to learn how to snowboard and my instructor was amazing and had great patience with me! Would definitely recommend to family and friends 💪🏽🔥
