Oihane from the reservations team was absolutely amazing! She supported us every step of the way and made sure we had everything we needed to complete our reservation. This will be our second stay at the hotel and definitely not the last! A wonderful hotel with an outstanding team. Highly recommended!

We stayed here a day before the TMB. Excellent place. Perfect location, and breakfast is at the top floor with one of the best views I have seen in Chamonix - over the River and high up with perfect views of the glacier and ice covered Mountains. Breakfast is extensive and great. They have a crazy fun arcade room with air hockey too. ||They do store bags at 5E a day which was a bit of a surprise (it’s been free at other places) but not a big deal. All in all, great place to stay both before and after the TMB (or for any other reason).

We are staying here now. We are with a tour so don’t expect the top of the line accommodations. That said, our room is laughably small. The lighting is crypt like. It’s fine during the day with the drapes open but at night there are a couple of hidden lights in the ceiling, small lights in the headboard. There are no tables at the bedside, just a small shelf above the bed about 4 inches wide. Charging devices is doable but a challenge. The WIFI in our room is so slow that it’s not useable. The only “amenity” in the bathroom is liquid soap, which says it can be used as shampoo and conditioner. They say this is so they can be environmentally friendly. You can get appropriate stuff at the front desk. While hotel laundry is never inexpensive, they charge 10 euros per item. So should you send a t-shirt it’s 10 euros.

This is a mid 2-3 star hotel with management you'll be glad never to see again. Before our trip I emailed staff about a potential shuttle pickup from the airport. They replied with the price, and said if I want to book a shuttle, to confirm by clicking a link to pay. I thought the price was too high, so I chose not to use the service, and did not click the link to pay. They followed up multiple times instructing me that if I wanted a shuttle, I would need to confirm, and could use the link for payment. I did not want to use the shuttle. There was no need to reply to the sales email, because I was not going to use the shuttle. I filed it away like any other sales email. When I got to the hotel to check in, they would only let us check in if I paid an additional 250euro for the shuttle I never used. I explained my case, but Dmitri the Manager did not care. I didn't want to make the situation any more uncomfortable for the rest of my group, this was the first day of our TMB hike, and starting it off like this was already enough of a bummer. So I paid the extra money to check in. The rooms are also small and the hot tub is luke-warm. Staff told us they'd bring our third set of sheets, which they forgot to include initially, up to our room within 10 minutes. Took them an hour. Breakfast is good though.

In short, absolutely not a 4 star hotel (MAYBE a 3 star at best) and not worth the price. There are only two good things about this hotel. The hotel is in an absolutely amazing location in the center of Chamonix and is very easy to access everything by walking. It also does have an amazing breakfast buffet. Beyond that, I couldn't help but feel that this was designed for kids. Everywhere I turned it just made me feel like it would be a perfect fit for kids. The hotel is very beat up. It needs painting nearly EVERYWHERE. The balcony outside our room had loads of broken concrete on it and hadn't been maintained in years. The rebar reinforcement was actually showing through the busted concrete and was rusting. The balconies on floor 6 had no overhang so rain just came directly onto them where every other floor was somewhat protected by the balcony above. The parking garage is one of the dirtiest I've seen, and I had to go up to the reception almost every time I came or left due to the terrible gate set up they have. And people parked in my assigned space nearly every time causing me to have to go up again to figure out where to park again. On top of the desperate need of painting, tiles were broken everywhere through the hotel. I understand a few broken tiles around, but almost everywhere you looked repairs were needed. The spa had a great steam room and sauna. The hot tubs were waaaay too cold. The finishes in the spa were awful, laminated particle board that the laminate was just absolutely falling off of. Who uses laminate in a wet environment? In the end. No where near what they advertise, nor is it worth the money. Go stay somewhere else for the same amount and get a better hotel. If you do stay there, fill up on the breakfast buffet and use the steam room and sauna as much as you can as that is the only place that your money is worth it.

Absolutely wonderful stay in Chamonix here at the Alpina Eclectic - from the rooms to the amenities and the amazing service - highly recommend this property when in Chamonix. ||||Location cannot be beat as it's in the middle of town and super accessible to Le Brevent ski area. The rooms are nicely appointed, and breakfast was a great way to start each morning (incredible croissants!). The ski shop in the hotel is great with awesome workers there to help with ski and snowboard needs. ||||WE truly loved and appreciated the wonderful service from the hotel. The front desk and concierge assisted us with transport, arranging tours and services. Big thank you to: Zelim, Dimitri and Carlina for helping us out! ||||The hotel bar has a great vibe and awesome bartenders! Shout out to Leana and Damien for taking care of us throughout our stay. ||||Couldn't recommend this hotel more! Lovely service throughout and an overall great stay. Merci beaucoup et a bientot! :)

Thanks a lot to Melissa on reception!!I came to hear to the reception in the middle of the night because my room was quite noisy. I guess because it was under the restaurant. So she solved my problem immediately she offered me upgrade for bigger room with nice Mont Blanc view instead of my regular room. Upgrade in the middle of the night just because small inconvenience. I travel a lot, but never experienced so helpful stuff. She also provides me a lot of useful information about the aria, activities and all of that. Hotel is real good. It has one of the best view in Chamonix. Perfect location. Clean cozy rooms. breakfast is quite good. Food was fresh. Even the smoked salmon and ham was really fresh. The view from the restaurant 11 from 10!Spa is good. Not big, but they control the occupancy. Just 30€ day parking was not so good)

An excellent family hotel for skiers and tourists! We stayed as a family of 3 for several nights. This hotel has friendly, energetic staff at reception that are happy to help and advise. The hotel is great for kids: there’s an arcade games room, pool table (older kids), karaoke night, sweets bar and excellent choice of food at breakfast and in the buffet restaurant. The restaurant on the 7 floor where breakfast is served has a real wow factor with huge glass ceiling-to-floor windows overlooking the mountains. The food was excellent with on demand omelettes and crepes, fresh pastries, choice of unusual local berry jams, cheese and charcuterie selection and lots more. Rooms are good for a family do 3 with a comfortable sofa bed for the child. There’s a good “walk in wardrobe” area with plenty of storage, even in the bathroom. Excellent sound insulation (we were next to the lift but heard nothing). The balconies have a great view of the town and mountains. Location is perfect - at the edge of old town and with busses going to ski slopes and other towns. There’s a ski rental shop on the ground floor with very helpful staff, which was so convenient!
