This is a mid 2-3 star hotel with management you'll be glad never to see again.
Before our trip I emailed staff about a potential shuttle pickup from the airport. They replied with the price, and said if I want to book a shuttle, to confirm by clicking a link to pay. I thought the price was too high, so I chose not to use the service, and did not click the link to pay. They followed up multiple times instructing me that if I wanted a shuttle, I would need to confirm, and could use the link for payment. I did not want to use the shuttle. There was no need to reply to the sales email, because I was not going to use the shuttle. I filed it away like any other sales email.
When I got to the hotel to check in, they would only let us check in if I paid an additional 250euro for the shuttle I never used. I explained my case, but Dmitri the Manager did not care. I didn't want to make the situation any more uncomfortable for the rest of my group, this was the first day of our TMB hike, and starting it off like this was already enough of a bummer. So I paid the extra money to check in.
The rooms are also small and the hot tub is luke-warm.
Staff told us they'd bring our third set of sheets, which they forgot to include initially, up to our room within 10 minutes. Took them an hour.
Breakfast is good though.
