Awesome. I went with my school today with the entire yr7-10 community. Lightshow was awesome, music was awesome, however the food is a bit overpriced in my opinion. 5 dollars got me bluebird chips and a cookie. Definitely recommended. Awesome experience

the BEST place to hang out with friends, we took so many photos and videos and had the best time EVER!! staff were very polite and kind, i struggled with tying my skates and one of the staff helped. quite expensive but very so worth it! will 100% be coming back!!

Great time! Helpful staff, went on a weekday and was very busy at start of session around 11.30 but cleared out to almost no one by 2pm! So had whole ice skating rink to ourselves!!

Great experience. However, the rental skates are in shocking condition... if you don't pay the extra $5, be rest assured you will have sore feet. My recommendation is to take a size bigger and take thick socks.

I've often gone here to watch a friend play hockey. Being Canadian, it reminds me of a number if small rinks from back home and has the same feel and 'smell' (in a good way lol). The staff are friendly and helpful and often remember what I want to order, even if they don't let me drive the Zamboni. 😜 The open skates are often well represented with various skill levels that succeed in enjoying themselves without interfering with each other. Fantastic little gem for Christchurch! 😁👍

Did the Lesson Party Package for my boy's 8th bday here. He and his mates had a great time. Katie sorted us out and everything went really smoothly. We didn't go all out and hire out the room upstairs, but we had the café pretty much all to ourselves anyway. This is a great alternative to Inflatable World or Ninja Valley, and the fact the food is supplied is a big win for mum and dad. We did bring our own cake though, and they stored it for us. The lesson at the beginning is ideal...I'm glad helmets are compulsory cos a couple of kids hit the ice pretty hard later. The discount tickets for next time is cool. No negatives here, just a great day.

Good venue, a little bit outdated. Great way to escape the heat on a hot day.

Yelp
Didn't skate myself but it's a large rink (they play ice hockey here) and there's a DJ who does occasional dance competitions to entertain the kids. Café is pretty tired, though, and the 'arcade machines' mentioned on the website are actually just three of those grabber games. Would be much better with some proper arcade games or something like an air hockey table to entertain those who aren't skating or kids who are waiting for their parents to finish their coffee.

Yelp
Seemed ancient. Dressing rooms upstairs. Cold and damp. Sightlines are ok but ice tends to be slushy. Boards are dead. Dangerous without glass all the way around. Got a filter coffee in cafe and it was filled up half way and then watered down with steamed water. I didn't order a decaf!!!
