This is a classic motel that has kept pace with the times. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. Not spacious, but certainly adequate although the shower was a bit small. Right beside the Bay it was perfect for tide watching. Good restaurants close by. I would definitely recommend this place and would book again if ever back again.

What a lovely motel! I travel around the country for work, and stay in a lot of economy hotels. I know value when I see it. Alpine Motor Inn has a lot of value! Location, I don't have to speak to, as it is right on the bay. A line of Muskoka chairs, as we are north of the boarder, offer both evening and morning views of the tides rolling in and out. Smack dab in the middle of town, you are around the corner from The Alma Lobster Shop, that has the best lobster rolls in town. Kelly's Bake shop is just next door, which I am not sure if that's such a good thing! :D Sticky buns for the win! Rooms are clean and bright. We lucked out and got an end room with windows facing the bay. With so many things to see and do, I am not here for the room. It allows me to rest and get ready for the day ahead. Beds are very good, I had a great sleep. Staff are super friendly, as goes with the East Coast, and are more than willing to bring extra coffee for the machine, or a few extra pillows. There is also an enormous gift shop that has a huge assortment of well, just about everything you could want to remember your time in Fundy. I will stay here again when I return. Still have some trails to conquer in the park!

Location is Excellent. Service was good, and room was clean. Some reviews said np air conditioning, but I believe most (if not all) the units now have air conditioning.

Great little motel. I had a problem with the tv not working and the guy on the front desk went up with me and fixed it right away, no problems after that. Small motel with a great seascape view. Fishing boats etc. Lots of chairs along the water to sit and read or watch the tide come in. Priced okay at $184 cad taxes in. Had air conditioning.

Good price (mid-late september), great views, clean room. Overall very good for the price (190ish after taxes, booked last minute). Only real complaint is that the Keurig in the room had some dust in it, and idk if it had been cleaned recently, but it made mediocre coffee, which in the grand scheme isn't a big deal. We didn't request it specifically, but we got a stunning view of the bay of fundy with a small deck and a couple of Muskoka chairs. Location is also perfect as there is a bakery, a restaurant, and a souvenir shop all within 250m of the hotel. I'd definitely stay here again.

This is an excelled place to rest after hiking during the day. The hotel back to the harbor with fishing boats anchored. The rooms were very clean, and the location was amazing. There were several restaurants within walking distance to this hotel.

Totally not worth the cost. The view is great, if you walk across the lawn and over past the end of the building. The bed was uncomfortable and squeaky, the service was mediocre, the amenities were minimal. They charge an arm and a leg because they're basically the only place in town. Pass through alma and find somewhere else to stay.

Lovely Hotel/Motel in Alma. The rooms are a bit outdated but clean and big enough. Its located directly in the center and on the waterfeont. Ideal to visit the fundy national park. Only downside: the shades in the kitchen area didnt block any light so it got very bright early in the morning. I would come back again.

Yelp
I booked two rooms - a single on the first floor for myself and a double on the second floor for my teenage kids. The double was a much larger room with a kitchenette and the single doesn't have a microwave or a second sink. Both rooms have keurigs and daily towel service. I brought my small dog and a lot of people brought dogs but you didn't find piles anywhere everyone cleans up well. Property is well maintained. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the beds are perfectly fine. I'm sure they got new mattresses after the previous reviews - 11years ago. I sleep on a tempurpedic mattress at home because I have a lot of back issues and I was here for 4 nights with no issues. The views are beautiful and there's chairs by the water to sit and watch the tides. Staff are exceptional.

Yelp
Overpriced but I guess you are paying for the view. A three night stay cost me $517.00. The inn looks cute from the exterior and the property is well maintained and VERY quiet at night. The attached souvenir shop is nice but a bit overpriced. I bought a Tshirt at the shop in Fundy National Park for less that I would have at the hotel shop. The staff is nice and the hotel is within walking distance of all eateries. I stayed in an upper level room and had a nice view of the bay. There are no elevators, so if you stay upstairs, be prepared to climb some wooden steps with all your luggage in tow. The rooms are extremely small, outdated and do not appear very clean. The A/C worked but did not cool the room very well. I had to open the window to make the room more comfortable while sleeping. Its a good thing the night time temperatures were mild, otherwise, I think it would not have been very comfortable to sleep. The beds were comfortable but the pillows small and flat. The staff brings fresh towels daily, however, they do not make up the beds....all they did was throw the sheet and blanket over the pillows and called it "done up." There was a keureg coffee maker, which I did not use because i'm not a coffee drinker. There was no fridge or microwave in the room, so I was unable to bring leftovers back to my room to snack on. If you share a room with a friend, be VERY comfortable around that friend because there is very little bathroom privacy. The bathroom door was frosted but not enough for privacy..... I could literally see my husband sitting on the toilet through the frosted bathroom door glass as well as see his private areas through the barely frosted glass door. It was kind of gross because I like my privacy when I use the bathroom and I felt very uncomfortable during my three night stay. Seriously......WHO puts a see through frosted door on a bathroom!?? Oh yeah....that would be the Alpine Inn!!

Yelp
Positive-Would come again. Room was clean and nicely updated. Views outside were nice amazing to see the tidal changes up close! Negative- beds uncomfortable and poorly made wound up sleeping on the bare mattress.

Yelp
uncomfortable beds and humid un-ventalated bathrooms. but it had vacancy and the alternative was camping in the rain. $99 on a tues for a double bed.
