If you haven't tried their Liverwurst you never ate Liverwurst. The Best!

Such a wonderful gem in the area. We shop here regularly and the two ladies are always offering samples. Some of our favorites are their double smoked bacon, weisswurst, and olive Leberkäse (German "meatloaf"). This is nothing like the stuff you buy at grocery stores. No preservatives and so good!

What a hidden gem. Made the best Brussels sprouts with shallots and Smoked Bacon. Picked up some fresh ground beef too. Can’t wait. #rightaroundthecorner.

Awesome place, i am a fan of everything but expecially the sourdough rye bread. It is a regular place for me to stop whenever i am in town.

Always stop here when we are nearby. Even though it's 4 hours from our house, it's fairly close to the NYS Thruway Catskill exit. A true German butcher.

Yelp
We absolutely love the German Landjaeger and smoked bacon, especially my 14 yr old daughter. In addition, the German Potato Salad is outstanding. I also love the sliced bakery bread the sell. The owner's are very nice. They are only open on Fri. and Sat. and totally worth the drive from anywhere!

Yelp
If you want an old style German butcher with a dedication to quality look no further! It's all good. .. excellent frankfurters, wursts of all types, ham...you name it! Stop by if you are in the area, you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
I have struggled to find Brats as good as Germany till now. My wife and I have travelled to Germany several times and love the food there. We could never find Brats like there. Forget Johnsonville, you'll never buy them again. Also try their Leberkase, kinda like a thick slice of Bologna. Heat it in a pan and top it with a sunny side up egg for breakfast. OMG that's good. You really can't go wrong here for a little piece of Germany. They also have a small German grocery section. Pickles, mustard, dumpling mix etc. definitely worth the visit.

Yelp
Stopped at this oasis for something for dinner. Picked up the leberkase and drenched it with spicy Ommegang mustard and placed it over sunny side up eggs. It was absolutely delicious. Brought some double smoke bacon and it was incredible. Try any homemade wurst and you will be very satisfied. I chose bratwurst for the meal and warmed it up with kraut in an ale beer. I highly recommend trying the head cheese if it is on your bucket list. I was able to cross it off mine.

Yelp
Previously wrote that I was disappointed due to an item being paid for but not packed. I am now happy to report that not only did they refund my money but gave me a coupon for free BRATS. I am now convinced that these are good people who made an honest mistale and I will go back with pleasure. BTW---the meats/wursts I did get were great.

Yelp
This place is pretty rad. I've only been once and I can't wait to go back. I walked out with landjaeger, some other hard spiced salami-type thing which I ate in the car, weisswurst, an unbaked leberkaese which I can't wait to bake and eat, some other kind of peppery-leberkaese meat which I ate half of in the car, blood sausage, and a loaf of fresh baked bread. I have no idea the brand of bread or who baked it as it was in an unlabeled bag, but this is BREAD. Not the crap we are used to getting at the grocery store. Chewy, thick, BREAD. It was a two hour round trip from Schenectady, but worth it if you don't mind taking a little drive.

Yelp
Now that I have discovered the Alpine Pork Store I'll never eat supermarket "bacon" ever again. Some day I'll try some of the other things they offer, but right now, I'm all about the double-smoked BACON!

Yelp
Just recently our restaurant received "Best Bratwurst" rating from Hudson Valley Magazine as well as "Best Restaurant in Greene County". We are honored to be noticed. The way we prepare our bratwurst dinners are truly old world. But we have Bernie at the Alpine Pork Store to credit. He makes our bratwurst! He also makes our weisswurst and bauernwurst. Any time we have tried others, we have always gone back to the Alpine Pork Store. There are lots of other products to try. His lieberkase is awesome! Guten Appetit! - The Bavarian Manor Country Inn
