We arrived late and check in was still a breeze. The cabins were clean, and we'll appointed. It was everything I could have asked for. The front porch was perfect both day and night. We attended the most beautiful and impressive wedding I have ever been to. It was perfect!!! If there were any glitches, nobody could tell. The food was exceptional and so was the service. The weather was very cooperative. Thank you Alpine!!!!

We recently had our wedding at Alpine and could not be more happy and grateful for the service, experience & care we were given while there. We loved having every cottage booked with our friends and family. It was the best summer camp experience! Every single member of this team went above & beyond for us. Ashne is the sweetest event planner, Shane & Becky are the kindest bar tenders, Debbie, Jim, Jackson and every other staff member truly made us all feel like we were right at home. We will never forget how special we felt the entire weekend. Thank you for giving us the wedding of our dreams! Please don’t take this amazing and special place away from this community! We’ll always love the Alpine!

We didn’t stay at the resort but it sure is a lovely place. We came to hear the music. Unfortunately the rain came in hard and they had to shut the event down for safety. They sure did a great job keeping us safe and dry in the big tent. We will be back. Always a great time.

Stopped for Sunday breakfast. Beautiful waterfront view, friendly service, tasty fresh ingredients. Patio seating was lovely, plenty of parking. Property very well maintained. Hidden gem. Server Autumn very friendly and attentive

This Dirty Dancing style resort has sweet little cottages with tiny kitchenettes on the lake. It's a hot spot for weddings, be aware when booking a Thursday - Saturday the crowd will likely be celebratory. They have creature comforts such as window unit AC and ceiling fans. The porches are handy and often have adirondack chair style seating. The cottage was updated and was suitable. Be aware of the Ace Hotel style wall hanging rack. While it's handy, it's a hazard for heads. It would be helpful to have other shelving or hooks, especially in the bathroom and both bedrooms. The king beds and sofa are XL for the space. It would be more suitable for a smaller sofa and an occasional chair with an ottoman. The restaurant was below average for morning beverages - basic coffee and tea, no milk alternatives. It's probably best to go into town for coffee. We did not eat at the restaurant. The tennis/pickle ball court is in need of maintenance. The old main lodge is not in use and is in disrepair. It's a beautiful building. We were told by locals that the resort is moving to the golf course and the lake shore property will be developed into condos. Enjoy it while you can! Egg Harbor is walkable - less than a mile.

Attended the copper box band event in your large tent area this evening. Awesome band and space. Unfortunately, a severe storm rolled in about an hour after the band started. There was no announcement about severity of storm or where we could move to safely shelter. We were told to leave in midst of wind pouring rain with no direction where to move. Pls review plans with your staff on how to handle these situations.

Stayed June of 2024 in the "Kansas" cabin. This was the most romantic and intimate vacation my partner and I have ever taken! The cabin itself was cleaner, and nicer than some Hilton's that we've stayed in! Every square inch of the cabin was sparkling clean, and immaculate. You can tell when deep cleaning is done regularly, and it shows. The ceiling fans and AC kept us more than comfortable on the warm evenings. I don't remember the last time we slept so well. The bed was so comfortable, and the cabin was so quiet. We didn't hear a single noise outside of our cabin in the 3 nights we were there. The wooden blinds kept the room nice and dark even on a sunny morning so we could sleep in. The grounds of the resort were clean and very well maintained. One night we got dinner at the restaurant, and watching the sunset over the water while we ate dinner was so romantic. We had another couple take pictures of us with the sunset behind us that could easily have been wedding pictures done by a professional photographer. If you and your partner are looking for a romantic getaway, you HAVE to stay at the Alpine in their newly renovated cabins!

Had a wonderful stay at Alpine Resort. The service was wonderful and everyone was so friendly! The flowers were beautiful and they were just changing out with mums for the season. The resort was so peaceful - a perfect getaway. My husband and I celebrated our 23rd wedding anniversary here and we couldn't have asked for a better stay!

Yelp
*This review is for a room in the clubhouse during off-season* Decided to book a last minute getaway to catch the last of peak-fall foliage in Door County. The weekend I went also happened to be the Fall 50 marathon so places were booked up. Alpine was offering their off-season rates for their club house rooms (on the golf course, pretty remote but a close walk into town). I paid $175/night (normally $300+) for a king room overlooking the course. There is a 3 night minimum but I got the sense that if they aren't too busy, they're flexible on that. The pictures online don't do it justice, it's quaint and comfortable. On the weekends they put out fresh cookies and extra coffee. It was perfect for what I needed: some relaxation in between hikes and strolls through various Door County harbor towns. It's about a 20-30 min walk into the Main Street of Egg Harbor. While I was there, the restaurant in the club house was not open but it will be open Nov. 1 through the winter, which will be a nice option if it's super cold and you want to grab a quick dinner without going far. I had a great time!

Yelp
Like stepping back in time, the Alpine is an incredible old fashioned resort that brings yesteryear back to life today. This resort features a fabulous setting on Green Bay.

Yelp
My boyfriend & I stayed here for my birthday weekend in the summer. Hotel rooms were hard to come by in Door County, and the Alpine had just renovated their "Club House" to have guest rooms upstairs. We were lucky to snag one (thanks boyfriend!). We had a nice room overlooking the golf course. This is a separate building from the resort main hotel & cabins, and is newly & stylishly furnished. Free coffee and refrigerator and rooms. Good location & access to rest of town. Five stars for great service, specifically Davante. They offer a free black car shuttle for guests, up to 5 miles from the resort. Davante, the shuttle driver, did a superb job. He was helpful, with good tips about the area. He communicated well about timing for pick-up and drop off. The shuttle is especially nice when you want to go to dinner and enjoy a few cocktails without worrying about driving home to the hotel. They should give Davante a raise, considering the number of negative other reviews on the resort. We had an opposite experience! Extra bonus points for having fire pits and a bar downstairs in the Clubhouse. This is a shared amenity with the golf club, but enjoyable nevertheless. We were even provided a s'mores kit upon request, and spent a bit of a lovely evening by the fire pits. Make sure to ask for the Clubhouse when booking!

Yelp
I am following through on the message left in response to my earlier complaint, where the business manager said she cannot issue a refund because I paid through Expedia. This type of gaslighting only proves my point. Your resort is responsible for the condition of the property and for accommodating disabled customers. Your failure and unwillingness to pick up the phone and call Expedia only proves your indifference and discriminatory intent. As the business owner who contracts through Expedia, you are fully aware that Expedia will not issue a refund unless you authorize it, and you haven't even called them. If you continue to misrepresent your relationship with Expedia in the public domain, I will file a complaint with DATCAP. You have forty eight hours to fix this.

Yelp
The family has been coming here for 3 generations now, so we were curious about the new iteration, and MY GOD it is fantastic. Wi-fi coverage everywhere, beautiful upgrades to the cabins, working a/c and hot water, amenities like towels and toiletries. My gripe is the parking situation. I understand why they don't want people parking at the cabins. However, families who are traveling with children or who need more accessibility could really benefit from at least driving up to the cabin to unload and load baggage at the beginning and end of the stay. Sure the golf carts are nice, but it's inconvenient. Also, you can call to request a golf cart to pick you up, but again, maybe rent them by the day to guests? Otherwise, our stay was fabulous and we can't wait to go back. Hope to see the pool and have access to the private beach again!

Yelp
We really enjoyed our meal. We sat outside and watched the sunset. We were told this was a supper club, but I would not define it like that. It's definitely an upper scale restaurant and does not have the supper club vibe. We felt the menu could have been a little more extensive, but everyone enjoyed their dinners. The lobster bisque was absolutely fabulous.

Yelp
We took our boat from Chicago around Lake Michigan and stopped in Door County, specifically Alpine Resort and could not be more impressed with the level of service. They have a full area to dock your boat overnight with electric and water (although at the time, the water was not set up but they FULLY accommodated by bringing a water line to boat). We ate dinner at Burton's on the Bay and thoroughly enjoyed the steak bites to start and the pesto shrimp was out of this world. We stayed on our boat but our parents stayed in the cottage Mississippi. The cottage was freshly renovated and very charming. Today is our last day and we are very sad to be going but we will forever remember this resort due to the kindness of its staff and the beauty of its grounds. We'll done Alpine Resort, until next time!

Yelp
Great food. Plenty of parking. Super friendly owner - top notch. And cannot beat the view - wow. Boat rentals available there now too. Bands frequently. Clean and tidy. Porch dining available. We love this addition to Egg Harbor.

Yelp
I am reluctant to say much about the charm and comfort of this beautiful, old world resort with it's bevy of cottages and inn, lakeshore walks, beach, pier, etc, because if discovered and made a family tradition by too many families, it will be difficult to book our annual visit.

Constance R.

Yelp
Great place to listen to bands on the water! So glad the Alpine Resort reopened! Enjoyed the view, music and crowd!! Great friendly service!! Can't wait to go back.

Sophia R.

Yelp
This place is fantastic. Service was pristine, food was delicious, and the view was incredible. If I could rank 6/5 stars I would. There is a very talented staff working in the kitchen, on the floor, and behind the bar at Burtons on the Bay. If you have the opportunity you should go check it out!

Yelp
Garbage! Probably the worst golf course I've ever played. One of the workers was aroused the whole time we were checking in

Yelp
Had fantastic Saturday evening with group of 6 on the patio. First time for all so we started with one each of appetizers, 5 of 6 were a hit. All ordered differently off menus and again all pleased. Angie and all staff was pleasant and timely. An old resort coming back to life. Must try
