We had a great time! Super affordable for the whole family. We did everything besides the mini golf and go carts. Took us about 4hrs and the kids rode multiple times. The views from all the rides is incredible. It wasn't to busy as we went on a Monday but the lines went super fast if any at all. It did start to pick up when we were leaving around 2pm. The arcade is old school w games for 50cents. Also, we took my golden retriever who loved just chilling in the grass watching. everyone lol. They were very accommodating filling our water for her anytime. Definitely a must go. Thank you for an amazing time.

Google
This place absolutely nailed it. We kicked off with the Mineshaft Coaster, then cruised over to the go-karts, splashed around on the water slides, and ended up back on the coaster for another round. This small but awesome amusement park nestled in the mountains is amazing. What makes it stand out is how well everything flows—scenic chairlift rides, fast downhill coaster control, hairpin turns, tunnels, corkscrews, and adrenaline-fueled fun at your fingertips . The water slides were a refreshing bonus, and the go-karts gave us that racing kick. Great for both families and thrill-seekers alike. Staff were friendly and helpful, making the day effortless and fun. 🎡 Final Thoughts Small in size, big in fun. It hits the mark if you’re looking for a chill half-day of mixed rides with mountain views and a splash. Definitely worth the trip! My only gripe would be certain rides you pay for at the snack shop and the Coaster you pay for at the Coaster.

Google
The staff really makes this place extra special. Everyone is so NICE!! They have a first aid station too in case you wreck on the toboggan, that slide burn is real! They have a small arcade of games inside, very old school pricing for the games too just 50 cents a game. It was nearly $16 for two burgers but DANG if they weren't worth every bite. The mini golf is really challenging and fun, there is a part where if you lose your ball in the water it drops to the next place below it instead of floating to the pond. Would absolutely come back 10/10 times! Only $2 a ride at the waterslide too.

Google
Decent spot for family fun. Putt-putt golf, rides for kids and adults. Tubing on man-made snow. Snack bar with usual fare: hot dogs, nachos, sodas. A few hours with a family might run well over $200-300. Free parking and each attraction is a separate fee though they offer some packages that save money.

Google
Fun spot for the family to stop and play. The slides all have breaks so it’s nice you have some control over the speed. I’d definitely come back again with the family.

Google
Little pricey but It’s good for family and kids . If you’re visiting here first go visit alpine big bear zoo then visit this place till then it will b less crowded and fun🤩 beautiful views 😍definitely going to visit in snow season. Star is very good and helpful .thank you

Google
Oh how I miss this spot. We would camp in big Bear about once a year and would always come to this spot. Finally came back and they added a few new additions. It’s so much fun. We road the Mine Shaft Coaster and it’s soooo much fun!!! 😁 I would do it again, it’s $20 per person. We only had a little bit of time here to spent but I can’t wait to come back.

Google
This place was super fun!! We went down almost all the different attractions and everything we did was great! The go karts were in to small of a track and didn't go fast enough. But everything else was cool! They were fairly easygoing and helped somewhat with our handicap son. I think some of the lines' ques could have been a little easier to navigate with a wheelchair be we managed....

Nesrine F.

Yelp
The place is beautiful. Every one working is super friendly. They were very patient and pleasant with my 2 autistic boys to keep them in rides safe and enjoying every moment here. Lindi and Destiny whom I asked their names were amazing. As well as even the ladies on the tickets windows were pleasant and nice. We will repeat the experience and recommend it to our friends with no doubt . Thanks to all staff there

Devin K.

Yelp
Went on a Thursday, pretty quiet but we still had a lot of fun, The rollercoaster is well worth it, and props to Jessie who helped us with the go-karts. Good dude, great customer service. Kids always have fun when we're here.

Yelp
As tourists in Big Bear, we were a little sad there wasn't much natural snow to sled on but we were happy to see Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain, the park saved the day! We rolled in early (highly recommend!) and skipped the long lines. Yes, most rides are priced separately, which was a surprise, but honestly... we still had a great time. The kids loved sledding on the man-made snow, and their laughter made it worth every penny. We hopped on the other rides too, and they were just FUN! We didn't try the food, but they do sell snacks and meals. Outside food isn't allowed, but since the park is open, you can easily walk back to your car--parking is super easy and close, which was a big plus. Overall, such a fun family stop! If you're looking for something exciting to do in Big Bear, this place definitely brings the energy.

Yelp
Visited to ride the mountain coaster on a busy Saturday. The young lady running the kiosk was very efficient and kept the line moving. The ill-mannered older blonde lady running the register ruined our ride. She screamed at us for not pushing a crowd of kids out of the way so we could get to her window. Alpine Slide, you are doing your customers a disservice by employing this person. She should not be consumer-facing, but I'm guessing you already are aware of the havoc she is wreaking on your paying public visitors. Strongly recommend the mountain coaster, but good luck when you get to the window to pay.

Yelp
. The lady at the kiosk waivers was very nice , no issue there. But as soon as we got to the payment section . The lady was incredibly rude and angry . She definitely put a dampened our experience especially since she did not have any people skills . There many signs everywhere but it still didn't really point to the correct area . The coaster was ok . Not worth the price for one ride but our kids still enjoyed themselves .

Yelp
What We Played: -Single Ride Ticket $20 -Child Ride Ticket $10 -Mini Golf (Child) $8 -Mini Golf (Adult) $9 The Mine Shaft Coaster was a lot of fun and quite exhilarating! As a larger guy, I felt like I was flying down the track. I didn't feel unsafe, although I may have used the brakes a time or two. The mini golf was your typical course, with a few interesting holes, but most were pretty average. We couldn't find a scorecard, but we took scores on our phones. We had a friendly wager between siblings and spouses, which made it all the more enjoyable! We really enjoyed playing here, and the price is unbeatable. The staff is incredibly helpful. One employee even went out of their way to help us by giving us a penny for the machine when we were short. I was so grateful for their kindness! We will definitely be back when we're in Big Bear again.

Yelp
I am giving this 5 stars because of the mineshaft coaster. That was a blast! Totally worth the $20 a person to ride. It was the perfect weather too during the summer because it was cloudy and rained a little. The staff are very friendly and parking lot is spacious. Perfect location on the way into Big Bear too. There's mini golf, go karts, water slides, soaring eagle ride, alpine slide, and a mineshaft coaster. You sign the waivers first then head on the rides. The coaster goes really fast especially on the second half of the ride. You can ride with 2 if total weight is under 370 too. Solo ride is the way to go though. It started raining on the chair life to the alpine slide which was nice actually. They cautioned to go slower since it was wet which I think took from the experience for me. It was cool to say I did it but the coaster is where it's at. Didn't try the other activities but I had a wonderful time. Will definitely come back!
google avatar

Felix B.

Yelp
tried the Mine Shaft Coaster--my first time on a coaster like that. Imagine a rollercoaster and a go-kart had a baby,Pure fun. Also did the alpine slide, which is basically the mountain's version of a waterslide... minus the water, plus a lot more, I should've braked sooner moments. Both were a blast, both had me grinning like a kid with a churro. The best part, Doesn't matter if it's winter and you're waddling around in snow gear, or summer when everyone's rocking board shorts and flip-flops, there's always something here to make you feel like you're on vacation from being an adult. Fun for the whole family, unless your family is boring... then you should probably rent a new one just for the day.
google avatar

Joyce A.

Yelp
Organized. Costly if you put together all the activities. But, it's worth it! You can just select what suits your family. Tubing was great and good for all ages. 3-2-2025

Yelp
The first staff I interacted was a ticket booth lady for the Alpine Slide, who was impatient and was kinda insulting towards me. My apple pay didn't go through and the POS system reset somehow. She told me to "press the second button" and when I asked for clarification, she just repeated "the second button," while there are multiple apps/options I could choose from the system. At this point I could sense her impatience. I pressed an incorrect app and she repeated "oh my god, my god" and "you broke my machine" at least THREE times while we waited for manager to help --- She said we'd have to wait for help because "you broke my machine" and when she moved us to another POS system, she stated again because "you broke my machine." Whole time I apologized at beginning and stayed quiet until someone else could come fix it, lady was just rambling from frustration in front of my face. Manager resolved the system in literally seconds. Anyways, although admission to the park is free, be prepared to spend $12-$20 for a single ride that lasts 1-5 minutes which doesn't include a video/photo you can download after, which would be an additional $12!!! The Alpine Slide and Soaring Eagle were definitely fun but so short-lived! Between the two, Alpine Slide was my favorite. Overall, I don't recommend coming here. I've been here before and had negative experiences, including a huge scar on my left arm from slipping off the board on the Mineshaft Coaster as a kid :( Second time as an adult was sucky too. Be aware!

Yelp
I went snowtubing on 12/6/2025 at 6pm and the snowtubing staff need to get re-trained and need to learn how to communicate with the customers better. I went up and right before getting on I asked the staff if there was a specific way I had to place the tube before sliding down and he stares at me and says nothing and continues to ignore me and says go. As I slid down I didn't know if I had sat right and sure enough as I was going down the other staff guy was saying last minute "drag your feet" and obviously I couldn't reach and I past the ice onto the concrete and flipped over hitting my head. The staff needs to communicate the instructions better because people could really get hurt! Kids ride too and staff should be more aware that customer service goes a long way. I understand we sign a liability waiver but that doesn't mean the staff has to ignore and not instruct the people going down. More info should be given before going down to everyone if not simply don't work there if you can't do your job. My knee was scraped and I got a bump on my head.

Yelp
This was a fun experience for a group of girls! We loved the Alpine Slide and the little ski lift up to it was my favorite part! Listen: it is not an organized park like Disneyland, but it also was not very expensive. The rides are all separate charges and you do have to sign a waiver first. But if you know what you're getting into, it's awesome.

Yelp
Have been coming here since 2020 when we bought a home nearby. We have made it a trend to bring all of our guests to try the Coaster or Bob Sled. Our kids had season passes to the water slides 2 years in a row and it was totally worth it. Sometimes we would go for 30 mins or two hours just depended on how the kids felt :) Customer Service isn't the best .. (only reason I don't give a 5) Pros & Cons Bob Sled, (very fun! Beautiful views on the chair going up) Snow Tubing + magic carpet (very fun for kids, friends and large groups of people) Water Slide (fun! Season pass if you can go 2-3+ times) Soaring Eagle (very fast experience & pricey) Arcade + Snack Bar (regular snack bar food) Take Cash they don't except card but do have an ATM machine They sometimes close early without notice which sucks if you're planning or kids are aware and they Disappointed when you get there and they close early for no reason Gets crowded especially during the winter season Parking lot is fairly small Customer service is probably a 5/10 Expensive

Yelp
We've been going to the Alpine Slide for the last few years during our annual trip to Big Bear. We've always had a wonderful time. Unfortunately, the experience we had to today was subpar to say the least. The cost for snow tubing is now $50 per person. This in itself, doesn't bother me too much because I understand the need to increase prices. However, what bothers me is charging this amount and then not having the full tubing area open. I know there's not a lot of snow in Big Bear about now but if you're gonna be open and charge people a large amount of money to go snow tubing, then you better be making man-made snow so that way the tubing area can be fully used. Today they only had two of the slide areas open and the lines were so long. The people working the tubing area were only letting one person go down at a time and we're not allowing groups to go together. For example, usually if you're with a group of three the three of you can all slide down the hill together as a group and have a whole bunch of fun. Today it was single rider, one at a time and it seemed like you had to wait forever for the people in your party to come down the hill after you. It took away the fun on snow tubing with a group because every ride was a solo ride. The line backed up and people were waiting at the top of the hill between 10-15 minutes to ride down. We asked on numerous occasions if they could open up the third side and the answer was no because they didn't have enough snow. If they don't have enough snow, then they should not be charging that money. We paid full snow tubing prices for limited tubing access.

Jayson P.

Yelp
My kids actually liked the rides and slides and what not. But the bad review is for the 2 hours waiting in lines just to get in. No option to fill any waivers out online, rude staff, and then the ticket line was an hour by itself. They legit pick the most difficult system for operations. Oh and don't forget the prices. Better off saving your money and finding snow on the side of the road with your own sled lol
google avatar

Brian W.

Yelp
Ok so, I had never been to Big Bear before. Got here in early February...snow only in the way of north east five week ago plowed to the side of the road dirt ice. Still a chill little town, but I didn't know what there was gonna be to do. Totally surprised by this place and it was just really fun. They had...idk 6 or 7 fun rides and it's just like, a small town theme park that was really chill. The staff was incredibly chill right from the beginning. And since there was no entry fee, the prices for the rides were solid. But what really stood out, were two of the employees running the mine shaft coaster. I think their names were...Angie and Destiny. They were truly good natured people that made my wife and I feel safe. Look, for a small town theme park you're not going to find many better than this. The rides weren't adrenaline insanity, but they weren't boring and slow either. I also can't emphasize enough that in general, in my experience, the employees at local theme parks are not the friendliest folks. The staff was very cool, all good sense of humors!! Oh!! And the photos/videos from the rides are actually reasonably priced!! Take that disney (I didn't try this here but did you know that if I was on a 20 person disney ride with you, and during the picture decided to show my man ripple, no one would be able to buy that picture? Yeah, I've ruined a lot of people's vacations). So, I can't speak on the nipple picture policy here (I kinda think it might be ripple neutral...like, not encouraged but not shamed either) but either way it is definitely a fun place to check out. Yelp
We just tried the coaster and man what a scam. My kids had been waiting to go in this for months. Please save your money because for a family of 4 you'll spend almost $100 on just 2 coaster rides. They charged us $41 for a double ride for adult & child, it said it should have been $30. Half the ride you're told to slow or stop so we didn't even get a fun experience of a fast coaster. My kid was so disappointed, I wish they did refunds because that definitely wasn't even worth half of what we paid. If you want to go on a lame over priced slow ride with constant stops when advertised as a full fast coaster while overlooking beautiful construction scenery then go for it. Also workers are crap, we weren't given instructions on where to purchase tickets after our bands, they just all stood outside talking to each other while we walked all the way inside looking where to buy the tickets, it's well hidden by the exit of the coaster. My other kid didn't even get to ride as planned because why would I pay $80 for shit experience. So disappointing because we were really looking forward to this during our trip.

Yelp
I had a blast here! This is a must when you visit Big Bear! They have limited rides, $20 per person, but the attractions are unforgettable. They do offer a snack bar, video games and every attraction offers either a video or photo.. The staff is great , the place is clean and the experience is remarkable.
google avatar

Christina N.

Yelp
The Alpine Slide and the Roller Coaster are so much fun! I highly recommend BOTH! We went on both multiple times! Regardless of winter, spring, summer- IT IS SO FUN AND EXHILARATING!
google avatar

Adam H.

Yelp
Great fun but pricey!!! It's one of the coolest things to do in big bear but it is also one of the costliest as well. Especially for a family of 4. $20 per person for one ride is a bit much.. I think it should be $10 but I dont run the business. Definitely a spot to check out when you are in big bear
google avatar

Andrew G.

Yelp
It's a bit pricey and you can do it all in a couple of hours but my family always has a good time.
google avatar

Abel A.

Yelp
A cool spot to visit, their process is to pay for the ride you wanna go on which is pretty cool, until you realize you wanna go again. Staff are okay, not the nicest but not the worst. The food/ snacks didn't seem appetizing but overall a good experience to go on two - three rides and be able to leave within an hour or so.

Sylvia B.

Yelp
Positive: My kids did enjoy the activities and the snack bar was good. Negative: The worker at the main front ticket booth was very rude and disrespectful. Wanted to leave after but I reminded myself not to take it personally. So because my kids loved the activities and snacks I gave it a 4.

Yelp
While the slide and the mountain coaster were fun, we had horrible interactions with some of the staff. I went down the slide, and the guide up top accidentally sent me down too early on the track behind a father and young son who were going SO slow. So on my way down I had to stop three times and did not get my money worth. I paid for a second ride so I could actually get a good experience. When I got back to the top to go down again, the slide operator asked if they had given me a free ride, since I was stuck behind slow people and didn't have a good experience. He said he radio'ed down to the operators at the bottom to let them know to give me a chance to go up again. They did NOT offer a free ride, and I didn't know I could have asked the operators to let me go again because of the slow people in front of me The operator at the top told me to talk to the guys at the bottom again to ask for a refund or another free ride. The operator was INCREDIBLY rude and dismissive and he said he "didn't hear from the other operator" - at the same time we heard over the radio the top operator said "the lady in the red jacket needs another ride" They called another guy over (assuming the manager) and I explain the situation. He said that because I was on the slow track I should have expected to go slow, even though I explained to him that it was the other operators fault for sending me down too early behind two people who were purposefully going extremely slow, causing me to stop multiple times on the track. They refused to refund me or honor another ride. Then men at the bottom also would not tell us their names. Horrible service and hospitality. Rude staff. Overpriced rides. unseasoned food in the cafe too.
google avatar

Lisa P.

Yelp
Came here with two kids and wouldn't recommend because the tubes don't have bottoms. So they're very slow- you can make them go a little faster if you stick your legs out or go on your stomach, but if you're a kid you're not not big enough to do that so your butt basically drags on the ground the whole way down like a brake. And you feel every bump going down- no fun. The alpine coaster was really fun though. For snow tubing I recommend the other spot, the tubes have bottoms and it's 80% faster.

Yelp
I visited this place on a Saturday morning with a friend, and we had a great time riding the roller coaster twice after signing a digital waiver and buying $20 tickets. The coaster was manually operated at certain points and there was a lift to take us to the top. Since this coaster seats 1 to 2 people (the weight limit is a combined total of 300 plus lbs.) you feel the speed more than a coaster at an amusement park. Also, I thought I was going to fly off at the turns but I wasn't even close to flying off at all so it's ok to go full throttle. It's a great place to take kids for a few fun hours, but there are also plenty of attractions for adults. I highly recommend it!

Caitlin P.

Yelp
Super fun place for kids! We love the alpine slides and water slides. The lifeguard was AMAZING!!! super friendly, kept checking in on the adults. Great family fun day

Yelp
Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. They have a cheaper price for children under 40", and they refused to let my little one in unless I paid the full price. He had on snow boots which barely got him near 40", but they were adamant he couldn't enter without paying full price. Apparently, they need each and every dollar they can get. They also refused outside drinks including water, therefore you have to pay for their expensive drinks. They have staff on blow-horns with sirens screaming at people to exit at the bottom of the tubing hill. It was rather annoying and bothersome. Other groups were allowed to go down in tubes of 6 to 8 people but we were refused and told only 3 people. The staff is far from mature and far from professional. It was $30 for two people to ride their roller coaster 1 time! It is not cheap either so bring your fat wallet if you really want to try this place. Happy New Year!

Yelp
What a blast, we rode the "roller coaster" ride there are a few rides ,arcade and a snack bar they offer a video and pictures at end of roller coaster if you want. Good stop
google avatar

Crystal M.

Yelp
Came for the first time and had a good time, especially the kids. We did not do anything snow related but enjoyed the coaster and riding the lift to take off from atop. The coaster takes pictures and video of the riders and you have an option to purchase. We decided to purchase for a keepsake but turns out, the video of my husband and daughter started off with someone random woman whom we've never seen or met. I spoke to the one who gave us the card & was referred to someone else. He said that we had to purchase another ticket to ride and get back in line. Another $30 to ride and wait more than half an hour? We decided to just purchase since the video transitions from the woman to my husband and daughter hoping that at least some pics were taken of them. Purchased mine/sons video with photos and husband/daughter @ $14.99 each. ALL the photos were of this woman I reached out to the app as well but did not hear from them.

Adriana F.

Yelp
System needs improvement, there's a line for waivers then another line for tickets depending on what you want to do, there may be another line. Overall the parents dealt with this but the kids had a great time!

Yelp
One of the very few places to go snow tubing during the winter when there's no snow, thanks to their snow machines. Came here for the snow tubing. Everyone loved it. It gets busy pretty early. By noon, the parking lot was full. Entrance for tubing was $45 a person. It includes tubes and lift. Hanging out in the food area and outside the play area is free. They do have other types of rides. Went in the Coaster and it was amazingly fun, way better than a ride at an amusement park. There wasn't much seating in the eating area for how busy it got. But the food was a decent price and good for a small snack bar. It was well worth the time and money to get away from the city. The drive was beautiful, with lots of trees and a huge lake. You could also spend part of the day at the city center. I would recommend this place, especially if you have kids. They seem to love the snow.

Solana C.

Yelp
Sad to say our visit was an underwhelming experience. Not only did $20 per person (and $30 for a child who must be accompanied by an adult) feel costly for one ride at one attraction, but we were hoping to capture the youngest's first time on the coaster with the photos + videos that are advertised as part of the experience. While the sign does have a clause stating this feature is not promised, we were told this was a very small percentage of riders, and we assumed this was just a legality. Unfortunately, both of the scannable cards we paid hoping to receive at the end said no media could be found. This would not have been an issue on their end for me, had it not been handled poorly by the front desk. I would expect that if this only happens to a "very small percentage" of riders that it is not too much of an inconvenience to offer an additional ride for another chance at photos. I was disappointed to see that the issue was simply dismissed, especially given that there was almost no line at this time, we were eager to pay the additional $15 it costs to keep your media, and they already have the capital to make this easily possible.

Yelp
So fun! If on a holiday I'd get there right when they open cause it gets super busy and hard to park. The roller coaster thing is the best
google avatar

Jay D.

Yelp
This place is a complete ran down rip off. It wouldn't be THAT bad if the staff working here were a bit more patient and kind. Terrible service. This is usually our last stop when coming up to our cabin. If you're like us wanting to end a beautiful day at Big Bear, do NOT come here because the piss poor attitude from the staff here will ruin the mood. If these people are that unhappy they should be working elsewhere, preferably not dealing with the public.

Yelp
I discovered this awesome place during my visit to Big Bear. This is a great place to have some outdoor fun with the family! Great for kids and adults. I enjoy riding rollercoasters, so this place was definitely a fun adventure. I can describe Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain as a "small theme park". You will find a mineshaft coaster, bobsled slide, go karts, mini golf, water slides (summer time only), snow play and other attractions. There's also a small snack bar and arcade. Keep in mind that each attraction has a height requirement and they only take cash. The prices average per ride, so I highly suggest you go with cash on hand. ATMs are available by the snack bar, but we heard that sometimes they are out of service. Parking is free, get there early as this place gets busy during the day. What I loved the most was the beautiful view you get to witness when you're riding the coaster and slide. Also, don't skip on the video that the theme park provides for riders, it's about $15-totally worth the money. I think it's a go-pro camera that's attached to each coaster car. This only applies to the mineshaft coaster. My 5 year old son was able to ride the coaster with me. I am so grateful to have the video that captured all his facial expressions during the ride! It's a very neat and well put together video.

Yelp
Brought the kids over for a little adventure as we visited for the week. Activities were fun, but pricey. $20 for a coaster ride per person seemed to be excessive, but the ride was fun. Just hurts to have a family once and the kids wanting to ride again. Mini Golf was just that... mini! Very very small. The go cart track was tiny but they let you ride for a while which is good. The Soaring Eagle was super fun for the kiddos. They did that twice.

Yelp
We visited in November of 2020 - though I'm quite late to writing this review, the sheer fact I still remember it so fondly 2 years later should tell you that it was a total blast!! 10/10 would absolutely go again! I've always wanted to do something like this and it was much faster than having to go to like Switzerland for those crazy ones...but now, who knows, maybe that's next!

Yelp
Would be cool if they had an option to pay for an all item pass for hours instead of individual attraction. Did the coaster and was cool, maybe $20 cool but if I waited any longer then the 20 minutes I might change my mind. For being in the middle of nowhere sure this place is great I suppose but definitely would not fly in the shape it's in back home. If driving by and not so busy I'd definitely give it a shot.

Yelp
7000 feet Ok a few years back I saw a Sled type coaster on social media, and I knew I had to do this one day. I didn't even know this existed in Big Bear so when I saw it, I was all in! It's popular and the line can get long so be prepared. At $20 I thought the 8-minute ride was a decent value and might have even paid double, but only once. The sled is easier to operate then it looks, you control the speed or braking while going downhill. Signs along the way and auto control in spots are easy to navigate. This is a family fun center and there are other things to do but none as exciting as the alpine sled coaster. I only wish it was longer and covered more ground then just the side of a hill. If you have kids with you while visiting Big Bear this is a MUST DO!

Yelp
This place is honestly run so inefficiently. From waiting 45 minutes to sign a waiver and another 20 to buy tickets that surely could be done online; then an hour to ride the ride. 30 minutes for a basket of chicken tenders as well. The concept is amazing and the rides are fun, but please work on crowd control and efficiency!

Yelp
Came here today and the service sucked, from the morning to noon every employee we talked to had an attitude. We made the best of it, but for the price we paid not worth it. Will not be returning.

Yelp
$20 per person for the speed track . Very fast over priced staff was cool. Children have to be over 3 years old to ride. They need to update online prices.

Yelp
This place is fine, but I much prefer Snowdrift tubing park in running springs. We only came here because Snowdrift was closed. Alpine Slide is overpriced, especially if you have young kids who will realistically only want to tube for like 30 mins. They also have a bunch of other rides here that are not included so be prepared for kids to whine to go on other things after you've already dropped like $150 to go sledding. The magic carpet thing was convenient, but they also yell at you if you try to take any pictures at the bottom of the runs no matter how far back you are. You are only allowed to take pictures way over on the side behind this fence where you can't really see much.

Yelp
Excellent fun! Expensive rides but I even had so much fun on their mini golf course!! Bathroom can use more tidying up but many stalls so there was never a line.

Yelp
The Alpine Slide and the Soaring Eagle were the 2 highlights from our December 2022 day trip to Magic Mountain at Big Bear. It was a heavy crowd the day we visited. Didn't get the opportunity to get on all the rides but we had a great time as usual. The Alpine Slide is a sled downward slope with speed control to your liking. Soaring Eagle is a 8 second sling shot of zip line adrenaline.

Yelp
Found this gem in Big Bear and it did not disappoint. High speed fun! Very kind employees, we went on the Coaster and Go-carts. My grandkids loved it and wanted to stay all day! We'll be back!

Yelp
A fun little place where you can enjoy a good few hours (2-4 hours) with the family. The main attraction for our visit was the Mineshaft Coaster, but we ended up doing more than just that during our visit. We also did the Alpine slide, Go Karts & Mini Golf. To be noted, cash only. They do have an ATM on site if you need it. We did the Mineshaft Coaster first and it was a pleasant experience. Children can ride alone at a certain age, but for double occupancy, the driver must be at least 18 years old. The maximum weight is approximately 374 lbs per cart. The cart has a camera attached to it so you can have a video and photos of your entire ride. Although, the video is condensed into 1 min so it's not exactly the entire ride. Hard to say when the photos take, but there is bound to be some interesting ones. The ride goes up and down twice and it goes pretty fast in my opinion. I thought it was exhilarating for what it is, but a bit pricey. There are lag times of travelling upwards so you'll just have to admire the scenery during that time. Afterwards, we did the Alpine Slide, which you pay for ticket stubs and then ride up the ski lift to the top. The bobsled has wheels so you can roll it like a luggage bag. The right side of the slide is more for beginners and the left side are for more experienced riders. We were unfortunate and were stuck behind two very cautious riders so we couldn't go as fast as we want. A bit of a bummer, because I thought they would time us to separate us, but that didn't happen. So this experience was much less exhilarating. Lastly, we did the Go-Kart and mini golf. These two were less than stellar, because the Go-kart track is just a small triangle. You ride non-stop for ~5 minutes, but the track is so "boring" that it gets dull quickly. I ended up doing swerves on purpose to generate more entertainment and pushing the karts to their max speed without braking for fun. The mini-golf has 18 holes and normally we like mini-golfing, but these 18-holes weren't in the best of conditions. There were plenty of debris like tanbark, rocks, and leaves all over the green. The green itself has seen better days. The decorations and environment (like water effects) were dilapidated. There were even spots where you can lose your ball forever if you weren't careful. Not the most pleasant mini-golf on top of being next to the go-kart so you are smelling the karts' exhaust for at least 8 holes. All in all, it was still a fun experience. The Mineshaft Coaster was a bit pricey, but it was a great experience. If you can go first without anyone in front of you, I'm sure the Alpine Slide would be very fun as well. Worth a try to formulate your own opinions!
