AlQasr Metropole Hotel

I stayed 5 nights at Al Qasr hotel in July 2025 on a business trip. Very good hotel, the staff are very polite and helpful, thanks a lot to all. The rooms are quiet and nice with everything you need, including coffee and tea. The hotel is located in a quiet area, mostly residential of central Amman. Good AC. Every room has a little balcony, which is also nice. Good bedding. Good WIFI. Nice lobby. The only downsides I would note is hot water - not really hot, and the breakfast - no buffet, you have to be served, so it is a bit slow as a result, not great when you are in a rush in the morning. There are three restaurants attached to the hotel, I tested only the Garden restaurant, which is nice, with a good choice of various tasty food, reasonable prices and again very friendly staff. For those interested, they do serve alcoholic beverages. All in all, a good choice at reasonable prices.

Buckle up because this is going to be a long but useful review. I stayed at the hotel for a month and a half, so I have a lot of things to say. I also did a different review for the Garden and Vinaigrette as they are distinct restaurants. In general, I had a good experience staying at the hotel and recommend it if you are coming to Amman. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the service is good. The staff at the front desk was really nice and accommodating. Every time I had a request or needed to extend my stay, they were immediately there for me, there was never any fuss. They were really friendly and provided me with great comfort during my long stay at the hotel. I received great help from all the guys at the front desk. As mentioned, the rooms are clean as they have an great cleaning staff always ready to attend to your needs. During my stay, the blind of my window broke, and it was repaired in a timely fashion. In the lobby, they have the Trattoria restaurant and lounge, which is a good area to hang out/have meetings and work. Every morning, breakfast is provided in this area. The quality is good, but it is not very diverse, and the same things are served every morning. It wasn’t a bad thing, in my opinion, but some people dislike the lack of variety. The coffee was absolutely disgusting, but that’s the only thing I would change. It’s also possible to order meals during the day/night from the hotel restaurants. The service is good, but it always depends on who’s there. In my opinion, Steve is the best worker in the hotel. My stay was considerably improved by his presence. He is very professional and attentive to every client’s needs. As for the rest of the staff, Ali is also quite nice. The manager of Trattoria is a bit rude; he was once talking on the phone the entire time of our transaction/interaction. There is also one guy who doesn’t speak English at all. He is not a bad server, but it complicates things when you need something. I understand the national language is Arabic, but there are many foreigners in the hotel, so it would be important to have staff that directly interact with the guests and have basic knowledge and understanding of English. Finally, I felt super safe at all times. Thanks for reading my review, as I mentioned, I recommend staying at the AlQasr Hotel :)

The travel agency selected this hotel for us, but they could have done better! The room’s air conditioning didn’t work. The room safe didn’t work when we checked in, they got it working, but there weren’t any operating instructions. On our 2nd morning, the breakfast buffet wasn’t set up, until I asked the Front Desk.

Elegant hotel. Sufficient and practical. Restaurants among the best in Jordan. A very nice place to stay.

I travel often through Amman for business and Al Qasr is on of the authorized hotels for our company. On a recent trip out I forgot my IPad in the room when I checked out and did not realize it until I was already at the airport. a quick call to the hotel was all it took to confirm they had secured it for me and that I could pick it up upon my return in a months time. this type of service more than makes up for the beds being hard in my book. Which to date is my only real complaint about the hotel. if I were to stay for more than a night or two at a time I don't know if I could do it, but for a travel hotel between flights you won't be disappointed by the service!!

Very clean well maintained hotel in a quiet location. Easy to take Uber to other parts of Amman . Staff were very polite and helpful. We enjoyed our stay here as part of our holiday in Jordan.
