Where to Eat and Drink at the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix

"Ramsay’s Garage will feature surprise guest chefs at live-action stations on the opening day, an Asian-inspired 'eating house' on day two, and a 'cool Britannia' theme on the third day. The third day comes complete with a full tomahawk rack and giant shrimp luge." - Tim Newcomb

Drinks are great! My waitress Sam was super attentive and sweet. The bartender Gabby knows how to make drinks! Both are awesome! I ordered the classic breakfast and made the mistake of ordering eggs scrambled. They were watery eggs. I assume if you order non-scrambled, you get better prepared eggs. The rest of the breakfast was good. If warned, I would have asked for no green onions on my hash browns. The atmosphere is cool, and I'm sure this place is awesome later in the day. I stopped by in around 8:30am, before my motorcycle ride. - I'll add that my breakfast plus 2 drinks was $40+, and I tipped $20.00. $10 for Sam, the waitress, and $10 for Gabby the bartender. No one said thank you. I was in the parking lot putting on my helmet, and I saw Sam putting out the daily specials sign, and she looked right me. Still, no thank you for the tip.

First visit gave it 5 stars: Got to say we thought the food was very fresh and tasty. We got the club and fried zucchini. Portion size was large enough for my wife and I to share. Service was great. We sat outside and enjoyed enjoyed the band playing on a Friday night. Nice happy hour.. I highly recommend going, we certainly will be returning Returned for a second time (3'days later) Food was good, service at the bar was horrible. The guy was an idiot, and could care less if we were there. Totally changed my impression of the place.

We came for lunch on a weekday sitting g at a booth. Service was attentive and friendly. The menu has typical options but the menu has a diverse wet of bar food options . The hamburgers, sliders, ahi salad, and steak au jus were all very good. Typical bar selection of draft beers and liquor. It is a solid place for lunch. Would like to return on a Friday or sat night- seems like it would be a fun atmosphere.

We decided to stop for a quick lunch on our way home. Food was fantastic and the server was very attentive. I had the prime dip with the horseradish on the side. It was the best one I've had in a long time. My husband had the fish and chips and they were really good as well. I highly recommend Al's Garage if you like bar food.

Live in Henderson, always got texts from here and we never have gone! Going to Aviators game tonight and said let's check it out! WOW, from the service to the food to the atmosphere to the happy hour and prices!!!!! I wish we had this over by us at the district!! The fish and chips were fresh and so soft!!! Fried shrimp appetizer fresh and light battered!! Wife had shrimp tacos, wow!! Not the tiny overpriced ones now a days with no shrimp! This was loaded and full of shrimp and included a perfect selected salad!!! We highly recommend this place and the service was capped off with Katie our server!! Al's is so lucky to have her!!

The hostess stand greeted me with a smile; I was promply met by my food server. The food and drink were both good. The establishment is nice if you like sports. They had a great crowd the last time I was there during March Madness. The patio area is nice during cooler seasons.

Yelp
Good Food, great service with an awesome environment. I look forward to my next visit. Thanks Brandi for making this a great experience.

Yelp
Love this place food is always amazing The vibe is always on point and we always have a really great time with our servers, especially Brandi I totally recommend this place for locals or if you just wanna enjoy your time away from the strip, where all the hustle and bustle is. Check them out you won't be disappointed. I guarantee that.

Yelp
Service was so so. Food was so so. I also got very bad GI issues the night after I ate there. Won't be seeing Al again.

Yelp
This spot is a go to spot. It has good vines. Relaxing atmosphere and ambiance. The music is kinda loud and the selection isnt all that great- seems a bit outdated, but overall, this is the place to come on Sundays or anytime you want to bring friends and enjoy some good food. And when I say good, I mean, delicious! Amazing tasting food and really big portions. You definitely get the best bang for your buck. This place is worth every bit of your time and money. Lol. But seriously, come here and bring some friends. Oh, and I shouldn't forget the service. The server, Brandi, was so sweet and so polite. She was very professional.

Yelp
We came to Al's garage for an appetizer and starter and they were both great. Our server Brandi was great and gave us great food recommendations. Inside there are multiple TVs with different shows playing on each screen. They are also playing music inside, it is not too loud but louder than I would like. You can sit outside or inside, both areas are nice. Full bar inside and you can sit at the bar, a booth or high table. We had nachos and fried Oreos with ice cream and whipped cream. This place is a great chill place for a group of people to hang out. I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
I like this place. It's pretty good. I always get the steak dip, and it's still my favorite. After going to red rock it's a nice low key place to grab lunch and decompress. Sometimes the service can be alittle slow because when I go it's always kinda understaffed but overall i like it.
google avatar

Yelp
Great menu items, never a wait, always a seat, no matter how busy. The service is always great. The portions are adequate, and cooked perfectly

Yelp
Our 3rd Saturday here for $7 double cheeseburger special, again delicious & generous (amazing consistency for an independent restaurant) -opted for $5 onion rings & sweetpotato fries sides perfectly done & NON greasy...our server was accommodating, attentive & very pleasant(not pretentious pushy etc), she makes customers comfortable immaculate interior & perfect music volume(no yelling required)...

Yelp
We visited on Friday for lunch with a party of three and it was a very nice experience. We were told to seat ourselves and ended up in a spacious booth. The waitress stopped by right away and took drink orders. Their margaritas are large and strong. We started with the Big Combo Appetizer plate. It had basically everything; wings, chicken strips, jalapeno poppers, mac & cheese bites, onion rings, and chips and dip. It also came with a nice selection of sauces. This thing was big and tasty. From there we went with a Breakfast Sandwich and Al's Beef Dips. The sandwiches were well prepared and delicious. The service was excellent, she was friendly, prompt, and professional. Overall, a great place for lunch.

Yelp
Holy shit I've never had a bartender tell me where I'm gonna sit !!! I walked in Thursday and the bartender said are you playing tonight ? Nope I'm not just want some food !! She said I'm gona put u at a table !!! Yeah no thank you if I wanted a table I would make reservations!! This bartender is a joke and I will not come back till she's fired ! I can't eat at the bar unless I'm gambling ????? I come often ill be monitoring if she's there Thursdays !! If she is I won't be there!! If I knew here name I would mention it but we will refer to her as Trash !! Hopefully management gets back to me !

Yelp
I stopped by one night to catch the end of a VGK hockey game. They have drink and happy hour specials during the games. It looks like we will get some playoff games this year. I got some steak nachos to munch on and the portion was enormous. More than enough for 2-3 people to share. Beer was cold. Server was attentive and friendly. I'll be back

Yelp
FOOD***** Hubby and I ordered the steak and lobster aka surf n turf for $19 on a Wed night. Superb deal! Cooked perfectly and enjoyed every bite. Even though $19, it was really good. SERVICE***** Pleasant hostess and server. AMBIANCE**** it's nice and clean tavern.
google avatar

Yelp
Food good but way overpriced for a bar!! Plus, I played a hundred and friend played a few hundred, only free drinks. Not the one appetizer we ordered. It should have been comped too.

Yelp
Al's is the neighborhood spot where you can make friends, eat well, have a craft cocktail or a simple drink. You can gamble and win on their loose machines. Best of all are the staff. They are always so welcoming and will go out of their way to make your experience exceptional. I used to come here for the chicken wings and the steak&crab combo. Now I come because I know the service is 5 star. Attentive, respectful, and courteous! Every time I drop by. Iggy at night and Kendra & Bobby in the day. By far the best in the business. They are the reason I choose to go to Al's. I would recommend this place to locals looking for a home port or even tourists looking for a spot off the strip that still offers all the best service that Vegas has to offer. Al's is a staple in Summerlin. And it's because of the staff. Guaranteed they will treat you like a regular whether it's your first time or your 29th time in there. Refreshing from other places that treat you like you don't belong or aren't a regular. At Al's everyone is a regular.

Yelp
Stopping after a long day of hiking at Red Rock. They have game specials and happy hour from 4-6P daily. Tried the chicken nachos (enough to share between 2-4 people), the bbq chicken wings (delish, comes with choice of fries-tried the truffle fries they were yummy, and celery and carrot sticks), and the artichoke dip (comes with chips). The artichoke dip and the wings were my favorite. Service was fast, effect and very welcoming. Ambiance is your typical sports bar, loud, and music playing on Tv, along with several sports games.

Yelp
The first visit was great, and all was tasty and the waitress was very nice, so much so we gave her a big tip. It was a Tuesday and I had their burger, which was on special. We went back on a different day, I had their burger again, but this time it wasn't good at all. There was absolutely no seasoning on it, it really lacked flavor, and it was pricey since it wasn't a Tuesday. The onion rings were rock hard, almost like gum cutting hard. The waitress this time seemed like she didn't really want to work at all, we had to ask for refills. We might try it one more time, not sure yet, but I will never order that burger again.

Yelp
My husband and I were super excited to try this place because we've had such an awesome experience at John Cutter. John Cutter is next door to Al's garage and when you sign up for their text alerts, you also receive specials for Al's Garage. The service was horrible. My soda cup had a crack and we patiently waited for our server to come back so we can inform her but it took her so long that the napkin was soaked so my husband just got up and asked the bartender for a cup. We were almost done with our meal and our drink cups were empty and stayed empty for the longest time. Our server wasn't rude or anything but she just avoided our table. We watched her check on her other tables but seemed to always forget about us. Other workers would pass by and I get that they are assigned a section but it would have been nice if at least once someone asked if we needed anything because we really did! We were expecting a similar quality as John Cutter but again we were wrong. The steak was overly seasoned and not cooked properly. My husband asked for medium rare and I asked for medium but both came out exactly the same ‍ Positive side ... it was a clean sports bar and they had a good vibe going with the GK game on.

Yelp
We went for happy hour on Wednesday. We both got the $5 burger and split a side of aioli fries. Laura got her burger protein wrapped with lettuce. Burgers were juicy, filling and tasty. Fries were a bit dry. $5 Stella drafts are awesome.
google avatar

mariah s.

Yelp
No happy hour menu they suck and the food was pricey and no one goes there Try going to John cuter for the happy hour and the good food and better slots

Brooke S.

Yelp
Food was good! Service great! Katie was wonderful and a joy to talk to! I love a good sports bar and no smoking

Martine J.

Yelp
Great neighborhood place. Good food. So many tvs. Amazing place to watch VGK and Football.

Yelp
Doing their Tuesday special. The steak and king crab leg dinner for $25 (normally $39). It's a 8oz grilled sirloin with 9oz of king crab legs, ala cart. You can add fries or a choice of salad for $5 more. I did the Al's Raked Out salad (normally $13), Organic Harvest Blend Greens, Roasted Tomato & Artichokes, Shaved Red Onion, Goat Cheese Crumbles, Craisins, Toasted Almonds, Sherry Vinaigrette. The restaurant group that owns Al's Garage, John Cutters right next door and their new Rustic House a couple of miles east of here have amazing good and a great rewards program.

Yelp
Great food Great service Great atmosphere plus they are open 24 hours. Watch your favorite sports !

Yelp
My first time stopping by here. Wasn't sure what beer I wanted but my server Brandi was quick to suggest one. She was right it was great. Then ordered a sandwich and enjoyed the ambiance of the place. Always fun to find a nice place for a drink and food. Great food, and friendly staff.
google avatar

Julie L.

Yelp
The food & service was great! Our server, Brandi recommended the crispy chicken sandwich with avocado and bacon & sweet potato fries after I told her the sort of things I like. It was delicious! I highly recommend Al's. We will definitely be going back again. An added bonus are the music videos to enjoy!
google avatar

Tarra S.

Yelp
Love this place! It was our first time going there and ai must say the SERVICE is on point!! Whoever trained the staff did well. The food was amazing. Elise was our server and she was the absolute best. She was very professional and service oriented.

Yelp
After hiking at Red Rock the hubby & I stopped in at Al's. We were greeted & told to sit wherever we liked, so we sat in comfy chairs surrounding a slightly wobbly table. The server, Caitly (sp) was friendly, adorable & very attentive. Now for the food, we were not impressed & we are very easy going people. The hubby ordered the chicken fried steak, it looked good, but was ice cold, maybe it had been sitting waiting for my beer battered fish. The fish had an odd taste to it like maybe it had been marinated in vinegar & the inside of the batter was very mushy. On a positive note my meal was hot as heck & the fries were good. Caitly replaced the chicken fried steak with a steak burrito which was also cold. :( If we ever return we will try the burgers only due to the reviews.

Jessica C.

Yelp
Not great food. Used to like this place but went back and it had zero flavor just tasted like grease. Didn't even eat the rest. Service was ok but slow for being empty.
google avatar

Yelp
What got us here....We were in the area, and of course I yelp the area. And we rolled up on Al's Garage. As we continued on our mission, I was the passenger, I researched, Al's, On the Yelp pic. I saw Steak and lobster! Ok, that sounds great! Lets check out Al's. When we got there, they had 80's music video's playing. When I looked at the menu.....Didn't see the steak and lobster, saw steak and shrimp. I asked our waitress; she had a lot to say about it. Not in a bad way, but I did zone out on her explanation...Bless her heart! Her service was good. No complaints about that. The steak was good, but not as tender as I would have liked it. potatoes and eggs were good, I would have preferred my toast to be buttered, while it was hot.
google avatar

Ellen C.

Yelp
3 people at the bar and the rest of the place was empty. Told us we couldn't sit at the bar if we're not gambling. One of us even has a players card here, but give me some time to decide will ya? And every seat at the bar doesn't even have a machine, so that's not available either? What a crappy way to run your business.
google avatar

N G.

Yelp
0 stars are not possible on Yelp. This is NOT a neighbor bar. If you like to know the bar tender: pass. If you like good service: pass. I gave them a third chance after we were denied service last year- this is the last straw. F

Yelp
We prepaid for our Superbowl seats as mandated my them. At first, they gave us a booth for the 3 of us only to later on moved us to a table in between restrooms. We literally could smell the restroom. We complained to the guy at front. He rudely refunded our money with no apologies. Thanks for ruining our Superbowl plans
google avatar

Lorena H.

Yelp
My friend and I came here for lunch on a Thursday and took advantage of the steak and shrimp special. For $19 we got a delicious 8oz top sirloin and 5 large shrimp. I got my shrimp DW crack style which was seasoned and grilled. It was delicious!! We both enjoyed our lunch and left stuffed and satisfied. The service was great and the establishment itself was nice and clean. We will definitely be back again soon!
google avatar

Sione T.

Yelp
Great place to have a few without the castle of the strip. A solid go to for good bar food and friendly service.

Yelp
First off, this review is based upon my experience, and my experience alone. I have visited this bar several times prior, but my last visit was in fact my last visit moving forward. I was unlucky enough to arrive around lunchtime, where they were having a team meeting on the floor in front of everyone in the middle of the day (I should say a bunch of kids listening to a POS dictator with little to no leadership skills). Unfortunately, I had to hear stories about the wolf of wall street, and how the customer is useless for anything but a rear end in a seat. Apparently every restaurant in Las Vegas only uses one metric "how much money they can make per seat". Also, the customer isn't ever right, if the temperature is too high, or the music is horrid, we as customers have no right to ask for an adjustment, and the poor people that work for this absolute d-bag cannot accommodate anyone no matter what. In fact, if they do make any sort of change to accommodate a paying customer they will be written up/fired. If you support this place, you are supporting the worst kind of leader, sorry, not leader, but a dictator with no leadership skills. Also, if you're looking for any sort of diversity here, the only place you'll be able to find it is in the closed off kitchen. Now that I've stated my opinion about the management of this place, Onto the food... The burgers are good, especially on the "specials" day, salads are meh, "pretty sure they use day old boiled chicken in their Caesar", but I would definitely stay away from any seafood they have here. The fish and chips were absolutely horrible, well, at least the fish was horrible, I mean, it's pretty tough to screw up frozen fries. That's all I have to review, I won't be back unless they change management to someone who can lead rather than be a dictator making all of their junior employees feel worthless. I wish you the best of luck if you do visit this place, and pray that if you do, you don't run into the management.

Julianne M.

Yelp
This place is awful. I've tried it 3 times and no more. We ordered the Nachos for I think $16 and only had a couple bites, ick. The chips, veggies, and and chicken were cold and they topped it off with some cheese sauce which was cold also because it sat in the window of the kitchen so long before they were delivered. No no no
google avatar

Shadd C.

Yelp
The service at this place is absolutely horrible. Within my first seven minutes there I was basically told that I have to blow money gambling to sit at the bar. I even put money in at the bar was playing and winning and was told that I need to play more to get my drinks and stay at this place. I was absolutely disgusted. I've lived here for over five years and never been treated this way. They refused to call a manager, and never even apologize when confronted about their behavior. Stay away from this place, F all the way around.
google avatar

Elnora D.

Yelp
Now you know I'm going to keep it real! When we go out, we look for a few things that really stand out and if you are looking for an AWESOME place to watch football or any game, I HIGHLY recommend Al's Garage. Once we walked in we were greeted and asked which game we were wanting to watch. She knew what games were on each screen!! The happy hour was really affordable for those on a budget and the appetizers are half off...ordered those amazing nachos and didn't realize they were an appetizer. I do wish they had some shot specials as our shots of Fireball were $9 could have ordered a whole bottle for what we paid for two shots buuuuut I digress. Our waitress was Britney and she was great. We will be coming back with a larger group soon. The only downside to this experience was the parking. Its located where there are multiple businesses so the parking is pretty rough but It didn't take away from our experience. So if you are wanting to watch any sporting games and looking for some good deals I highly suggest this place
google avatar

Angela O.

Yelp
California Breakfast burrito with green salsa is my fave. I usually get this at work since my friend does group orders and brings it by. First time dining in and Meagan was welcoming and friendly! My boyfriend enjoyed every bite of his Chicken Fried Steak. The area has huge TV's and plenty of room, good music! We came by around noon on a Monday. I'm sure it's slow now compared to weekends or during game events. Will definitely be back, but something tells me this makes great hangover food too. I bet it hits different - whatever the influence, this food will taste good. Hasn't disappointed yet!
google avatar

Thomas S.

Yelp
Outstanding local business! Great place for watching all sorts of professional sports and the staff is amazing! McKayla is an amazing hostess who is always pleasant to meet when you arrive! Server's and Bartender's are top notch!
google avatar

Song C.

Yelp
I think this place is okay but that's because I don't like sports bars where people watch sports on big screen TVs. I thought the food quality was just OK. I ordered the steak salad (medium rare) and my steak came fully cooked. -_- Pros: Huge drinks, if you are looking to have a good time Big portions, if you are really hungry Apparently, they have a good happy hour Cons: Food quality is average and this is a big con for me. Big TVs EVERYWHERE Service is decent but not something to write home about. We had to ask for water several times and had to flag down our waitress a few times. I would say this would be the child of Apple Bee's and a sports bar (which you already know I hate). I will say that my friends that I came with LOVE this place. So take this review with a grain of salt.

Gomer P.

Yelp
My buddies and I go out for beers and dinner once per week and used to go to Al's garage occasionally. We like craft beers but their beer selection is very minimal and not really any craft beers. The last time went on Thursday night to watch a football game, the sound was turned up so high we couldn't talk to each other - we were screaming at each other from 3 feet apart. The big screens are great, the food is great, the service has been pretty good, but my buddy's won't go back because of the lack of beer selection and because it was so darn loud. We know it's nice to have the volume kicked up for games, but we even asked the waitress if they could turn it down a little and were told the manager said no. We asked to talk to the manager and she said he was watching and listening on the cameras and he said it wasn't loud enough. I guess that's why it was half empty during a Knight's game and Thursday night football. Won't be back.

Corey F.

Yelp
My wife and I stopped by after a hike with some friends. The food was good and staff were friendly. We noticed there are flags hung from the ceiling from all the different branches of the US military, my wife is currently serving in our military and asking if they do military discount when we got our check. We were told no. Little weird hang the flags showing support but not actually supporting. Not the end of the world. All and all good place.

Oak T.

Yelp
Came in on an early thursday afternoon bout 1:30pm , place was dead and very dark , my god it was a beautiful day prop some doors open . Bartender was very ditsy and only focused on the one guy who won big gambling and another guy who she wouldn't stop talking to ‍ . Sucks cause the food isn't that bad but I'd rather go somewhere that gives better customer service !

Fernando O.

Yelp
Ho1st time here our waitress got our order wrong. Surprised that this place doesn't offer a military discount with all the flags
google avatar

Francis T.

Yelp
Abbie is the coolest bartender, this place rocks ! Awesome locals joint, sliders are really good.

Denise A.

Yelp
Our monthly ladies HH group chose this location for our gathering. We chose a night that the VGK were playing and every TV in there was broadcasting the game. Great for fans but not so great for people who actually want to have a conversation. Service was adequate. Nothing to write home about. The HH menu was a lot of basic selections that you'd expect in a bar setting. The nachos with chicken were good. Shrimp on the skewer were slightly over cooked. The truffle Mac bites were tasty but we had a hard time finding the "Mac" portion of the app. Fried zucchini was a bit mushy but still tasty. Would have fared better with another 30 seconds in the fryer. The jalapeño poppers were just basic. Jalapeños were not spicy. I know this has been the problem even for home cooks but I have been able to venture out and find grocery stores that stock a spicier jalapeño than Walmart and Sprouts. Not a memorable experience so would I recommend?? Only if you want to watch a hockey game ;)
google avatar

Sasha G.

Yelp
My husband liked the French dip. Servers usually take a while to touch back with you to pay the bill. Service is not bad though overall. Fun bar to go to for the knights game.
google avatar

Robb P.

Yelp
To manage expectations, when I say great, I mean for a local pub that is friendly has good pub food and you can watch the game. Even better as it's within walking distance. The staff is friendly and curious even under a game night work load. The best part about it (in my humble opinion) no smoking even though they have video poker at the bar. Go Knights!
