Alser Cafe

Random find along the streets on Christmas eve. Serves very good brunch food - had the Alser French Toast, Smoked Salmon Omelette and Guac on the side. All very tasty and savoury.

The only place we found open at 8:00 am of Sunday. Great food, they exactly follow what we asked and changed the ingredients the way kids wanted it. Free WiFi, clean and friendly staff

My wife's breakfast was looking nice, but our coffees were cold on arrival and very watered-down, one of the worst I had in Vienna including those bought in bakeries. The waitress was really blasé and forcibly asked for a tip, which was weird.

Went there on our first day. Staff was very helpful. Good place to relax. I have to give a BIG thank you to the two ladies in the kitchen for some salt. Saved my life!!! 😄 Very kind people.

Very fun, chill place, waitress was amazing as well, so were the drinks. If I find myself in Vienna again, would visit again.

Food and drinks are very good here and all is reasonably priced. Some staff were very friendly and chatted with me but unfortunately on one of my visits I had to ask 3 times and wait quite a while to be able to pay, waitresses I asked were stood chatting or serving other people instead so I didn't feel very welcome. When I ate here I asked for the pasta without shrimps and they did accommodate this.

Cute latte presentation and gorgeous plating all around make this place very aesthetic. Their breakfast is delicious - simple flavors done well. Overall, it's a gimmick-free, beautiful café with great food. The place has a calm vibe and free wifi. Their bathroom plays birds in nature sounds, which is such a nice touch. We appreciated the bilingual menus, too. I ordered the pumpkin risotto with Halloumi and Parmesan. The tomato brings a fresh twist to the very savory, very cheesy dish. They apologized for being out of bok choy but it was perfect anyways! Dessert here was amazing. Sachertorte and other selections in their display counter called to me, but my friend had the warm apple strudel with optional vanilla sauce. It felt very Austrian. We both loved everything we ordered. I would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
