We spent 4 nights at this hotel as a family of 5 adults. It was a great place to relax after the busy pace of Jaipur life. Sadly we didn’t use the pool as it was too cold. We had to venture a fair way to find dinner outside of the hotel. Breakfasts (buffet) were excellent, lunch was ok and we didn’t have dinner at the hotel. The staff were very attentive (perhaps a little too much at times for us!). Including a musician in the courtyard who played very late into the night. Value for money was low compared to other places we have stayed in India. Beautiful hotel and rooms though.

Our previous hotel in Ranthambore seemed to be modelled on this hotel, albeit on a smaller scale, so it felt familiar in many aspects. Opulent dining room and a lounge area which had mirrored ceiling similar to Amber palace. Staff were approachable and helpful. The WiFi went down one evening till following morning, but reception helped with accessing information about the spa. Hot water was coming out of cold tap, but that was swiftly fixed. A broken safe also immediately replaced. Spacious room and shower room. The pool was clean and tranquil with calm music from the adjoining spa. We had a lovely rest day here, first sitting in cane chairs on shaded patio, then later beside pool. We had massages at the spa. I had Harmony package with chakra head massage. Very competent therapist. Brochure advertised steam, shower and beverage, but I wasn't offered any of those; not a massive problem as I wouldn't want to wash off the aromatic oil straightaway.

An utterly beautiful hotel that takes you back to colonial times in a good way. The antique furniture, the beautiful door handles, the live music and whole ambiance! Our door was made of mother of pearl encrusted wood…so gorgeous! We both had excellent massages - I felt my masseur really went the extra mile too, fantastic. The hotel is very clean and serves good food. This would definitely have been a 5* review but on the last day we had breakfast, the ‘omelette chef’ was very angry for no reason and glared at each of us separately…it was very, very odd! Just outright glared as if he hated us. My husband thought he wanted to have a fight with him! Never seen anything like it before! Still a lovely hotel though and everything else was just perfect.

We stayed here for 3 days as part of a package in their upgraded room category.||The food was delicious and varied, with a choice of buffet or ala carte for dinner. The breakfast buffet was also comprehensive and the coffee was good. Drinks prices were good, about £30 for local wine (good!) and £4 for a beer.||The rooms were large and beautifully decorated. Some reviews say they are a bit dated - but that’s the point as it’s a heritage hotel… it was charming and super clean.||The pool is a lovely addition for the end of a hot day of sightseeing.||The staff were all lovely and couldn’t do more to help.||Would certainly stay again if I was ever back in Jaipur.

A very attractive authentic Haveli with comfortable rooms and very helpful staff. A pleasant calm oasis in Jaipur. |Breakfast choices were good although you needed to allow plenty of time if you wanted freshly cooked food. Evening meals were tasty too. |Interior decoration is charming and the hotel appears to be well cared for although the electrics leave something to be desired. |The pool is a welcome bonus.

Oh what a lovely havelis to come to after negotiating the chaotic streets of Jaipur. The buildings look stunning from the outside and then even better when you enter the various rooms. The dining room is like a palace's great hall. The bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable. The food is very nice whether eaten in the dining room or by the pool. The staff are very friendly.

This was my 7th time in India and after receiving excellent service everywhere else I was extremely disappointed in service from check in to check out. Hotel was extremely grubby needing a deep clean. Food at breakfast was cold and many of the serving dishes were empty staff in the restaurant was extremely rude and looking as if their uniforms need a good wash. The previous day I had fallen down the stairs and not one of your staff enquired if I was ok. Infact not one of your staff even said Good Morning. You employ a gentleman in your courtyard to play music which seem to be the same tune I found be excessive and very little breaks.

Call me spoiled but after receiving great services from everywhere, this was real lukewarm. You know those kind of places, who just wanna focus on white tourists. Anything in terms of service you ask, their first reaction is : not allowed!!!!! Rooms are definitely great! But I didn't see much point in paying 10k for a night to take high flights of stairs. Food was very very basic. Also, personally , I don't like the typical breakfast buffet in that kind of setting. :( However, the whole Haveli feel is great. Rooms are spacious , comfortable and biggest bed possible!!
